I often wonder because I operate my daily life so differently than others close and distant from me and my family think I'm a bit off kilter. Freewill brought the nomadic gypsy dude lifestyle that was within and looking to get out in the woods, upon the prairie and in the swamps freewill has me still going to see what's on the other side of the mountain. However there is a plan that I'm pulling together, the four states that I will resolve around. Full time travel to and thru the states that I return to require storage as I'm not pulling a trailer as drag coefficient really bums me out, light and fast is how I roll and wish to continue to travel. What are your important needs and lifestyle requirements? Tax, healthcare, guns, weed, work, schooling - there's a lot to consider no matter your domicile but ya still need storage. Extrinsic and intrinsic values aren't on my doomer spreadsheet, I'm not an owner nor investor in storage, merely a renter to keep state necessary needs. And in Florida my needs are mainly golf related items and microfiber materials, I think I'll buy some land here, and I still might require storage. I'm very pleased this far with my storage unit here as prices are fair and the facility is secure and clean. Happy Trails to you too.

    TLDR: Mike the manager was gone for 2.5 hours in the middle of the day and had no line to call him…read moreon. I had called the day before to make them aware I would be coming and would need help with a unit size. Thus, I had no one to help me pick a unit size. I called the hotline and was put into a 5x5 after being told it would be an 8x10. I had to deal with explaining things to Uhaul as well since it ended up being late due to this issue. Mike mentioned how he didn't want his boss to know about this issue, wanted to charge us for a bigger unit, couldn't do anything to compensate us for the UHaul late fee, asked for a positive review, asked for us to hurry to sign the paperwork for the bigger unit so he could leave by 5pm, and showed no remorse for wasting hours out of our day. Awful awful awful experience on top of moving already being a stressful thing. Absolutely awful rental experience with this place. I made a reservation for a unit on Friday afternoon, and told the manager that I would pay for and discuss details of the unit when I come in on Saturday afternoon. The manager informed me that someone would be here to help me and that I could come anytime between 9:00am and 5:30pm. Big mistake. I came at 2:00pm on the dot and there was a sign on the door indicating that the person working wouldn't return until 3:30pm. I'm not sure in what world it's normal to take a 1.5 hour lunch break when working a 9-5. I called the number for the office over and over with no answer of course. I called the business number and a representative completed the reservation for me, without asking anything or helping me with the size options. Absolutely no help at all. I head up to my unit, which the manager booked as an 8x10 the day before. I get up to the unit, and it is not an 8x10. I went back to the office, there is still no one present. I call the reservation text number, and still cannot get through to anyone. We tried to make it work. Having to tilt and turn my 200lb slab of marble to fit into the narrow door was gut wrenching for my body and bank account. We quit after realizing my brand new couch would not fit through the door no matter how we dragged, tilted, or turned it. Its now 3:30pm so I went to the office again, and there is still no one present. I called again and finally got through to someone. He said he just returned from his TWO HOUR break and wanted to help fix the situation now that he's here. I showed him that my unit was not big enough and that I needed someone to have been there hours ago so I could make sure I got a big enough unit. Also, the unit I received wasn't even the 8x10 as I had reserved!!! He proceeded to act like he had done nothing wrong by saying he would see how much more expensive a bigger unit would be. I found it completely ridiculous that he even thought it was okay to suggest charging me after wasting multiple hours of my time attempting to play Tetris in fitting my furniture into an extremely small unit and thus causing us to be stuck there speaking with him at 4pm about solutions when we should have been returning my U-Haul. He proceeded to tell me that he got me a bigger unit at no extra charge because of the first month free promotion. My uhaul was due back at the end of the business day - so I was stuck paying for an extra day of that because he decided to take a 2 hour break in the middle of the day. On top of that, the manager I spoke with on the phone the day before should have told him that a new client who needed help would be stopping by. Also, once he arrived to agitated and frustrated customers, he should have done a better job at rectifying the situation and taking accountability. To top it off, Mike told us at 4:45pm that we needed to hurry over to the office to sign the papers for the new unit because he wanted to leave by 5:00pm. Mike also asked for us to leave him a positive review since it was just a "coincidence" that things happened the way that they did.

    Great service and nice facility. We used it for about 4 months while transitioning to our new house.read more
