I was on-site to pick up my husband from work wearing a Sunbelt issued class 3 safety neon shirt,…read moresafety glasses, and steel toes boots as required. Customers walk around not only the service center but the motor pool and in the service bays without anything safety regulated. He is supposed to get out of work at 5, so yes at 5:05 I feel obligated to get out of my vehicle to see what is going on because he was not asked to stay and we have other obligations. I went immediately to my husbands bay to see what was going on. I saw Dennis, Kyle, Mike and my husband in the bay when I walked in. Dennis said that I was wearing Glenn's safety shirt. I said yes I am safe with steel toe boots and safety glasses too. He commented that I wasn't wearing my safety glasses on my eyes and I said you aren't either. Dennis said where's your hard hat and I said where's yours while pointing to his baseball cap. Another 10min went by then I was told politely by Dennis, my husband's manager that the drivers complained about me walking around. (It was only one driver that had the issue) Granted I was never in any of the drivers way and I always was aware of my surroundings I apologized immediately to Dennis. When my husband finally clocked out at 5:12 we walked to the car. While doing so, Wes, a Sunbelt driver stopped my husband and said "come here I need to talk to you for a minute". I was walking behind him to see what yet another hold up was. My husband said Dennis already talked to me about it. He continued to tell my husband to "knock it off and he knew what he meant". Wes is not a manager of any kind and he does not have any place to manage my husband. Also my husband did not tell me to get out of the car, don't scold him. Why not talk to me like an adult. Now at this time during their conversation I was beside my husband listening to my husband get called out for my doing. Wes made direct eye contact with my husband the entire time until I spoke up and said I spoke to Dennis. The old belief where women aren't seen for being a person or heard is insulting. He mumbled under his breath, rolled his eyes. Wes said again to my husband just stop. I turned around and my husband followed for us to be told to have a good day while his eyes were attached to my legs. So he couldn't talk to me but he can eye fuck me. Wes has "wandering eyes" looking at me like a piece of meat. I am a person. The other teammates treat me like a person as I should be. When walking around my vehicle I saw housing glass on the ground that Mike, a sunbelt employee broke several days ago that Wes laughed at. Mike never bothered to clean it up. This glass is near the bays where employees/customers walk, equipment and vehicles drive. Not safe. A little back story: As a veteran I know how a motor pool operates and how disciplinary action should be conducted. I have been getting out of my vehicle after 5pm since March because it is a blue moon when my husband gets out on time. I enjoy and have made it a point to know my husband's teammates. I am friendly and respectful. Mike is an on road technician, that has seizures. He endangers his own life and others with heavy equipment on weekdays.

Because I watch way too much HGTV and thought it would be a great idea to add a tile backsplash to…read moreour kitchen right before Thanksgiving, we found ourselves with a demo'd kitchen, in need of a tile saw, and clueless. Where we used to live we rented things like that at our local home improvement mega-store but discovered the one in Mt. Pleasant doesn't offer tool rental. Luckily we found Sunbelt Rentals. They were friendly and helpful over the phone and in person and took the time to make sure we knew we could reach someone if we had any issues with the saw over the weekend. I am pleased to say that we still have all of our fingers and the backsplash looks A-MAZING. I wouldn't hesitate to use Sunbelt again myself or to recommend them to anyone.
