2 of our 4 units were rented under husband's name. He passed on 12/23/24. We provided Death Certificate and Probate Personal Representative documents Midgard requested. As of 4/1/25 we have still been unable to access our property at Ocean Highway branch in Pawleys Island. I'm over 70 years old and have never been so poorly treated in my life. Home office cannot be reached by phone. Have sent multiple emails and talked to their local branch and virtual assistant(s). No help whatsoever. Beware, beware. Keeping me up at night and they respond "be patient while we process your request". Such BS. read more

0 STARS.. Worst storage place ever they tried to charge me a whole week after I just signed up for the storage. I didn't even move my things in or anything like that when I requested a refund it was denied. I do not recommend this place. read more

Too bad zero isn't an option. Had a unit with this company for 14 months. After 4 months rate was jacked up 19%. A few months later it was jacked up again. Cost went up over 50% in a 14 month period. There three other places in Pawleys and many within 10 miles, do yourself a favor and choose a better business. read more

Over priced but very friendly staff. Had a unit for 13 months and the cost rose from $80ish to $139. Moved across the street for less then $90. 10x5. read more

As a buyer of delinquent storage units for 10 plus years. I can say this facility makes the list for top 10 worst facilities. You can count on water,roaches, rats and even snakes getting into your belongings even in the climate controlled buildings. This is the most neglected facility you can find in the area. My most recent encounter here the entire back of the unit I purchased was all water logged due to a leak in the roof full of black mold. Which surely spread to surrounding units. Sadly I must admit this isn't my first experience at this facility due to constant rebranding of the facility likely to avoid reviews like this. Renter beware if you choose to heed this warning opt in for insurance your gonna need it!! read more

I did think it was an unusual set up, of the building itself. All the storage units I've seen are outdoor type units. Where you just park your car next to the big garage-door-looking-unit doors, and open yours up right in the 'road' of the storage facility. These however, you drive up to the building and you open the door INTO the whole inside of the building. Where there are 'hallways' filled with other storage unit garage door looking doors. Seemed odd to me, since I've never witnessed any like this before. The indoor units were decently sized. My friends unit, I want to say was roughly 8' x 8'. And that's by eyeing it and taking a guess. You could fit a lot of stuff in an 8' x 8' space!

There is full time security on the property, no other storage facilities offers this. We never had any problems with entering or existing, just a great all around experience.
