It cost over $130 but We thought it would be worth it. We soon learned that you can't drive golf carts on the actual boardwalk. Ok, that's fine, not ideal but fine, there's still plenty of other things to do down there. Well what made everything worse was there was some sort of concert event going on and pretty much every street we were allowed to drive it on was blocked off. We got in trouble a few times just attempting to navigate back to where we rented it without driving on streets that we weren't allowed to be on. We had the golf cart for maybe a total of 45 minutes (and it was only that long because we had to drive down so many odd and end streets to try to get where we were going) and we took it back and explained to the workers that we literally couldn't drive it anywhere. We watched other people get pulled over because they too were driving golf carts down streets you weren't allowed to because EVERYTHING was blocked off for that concert. The fact that I was huge and pregnant and having contractions seemed to have no effect on the workers either. They just kept refusing to give us a refund. After my husband arguing with them and finally speaking to a boss of some sort (I don't know if he was the owner, or manager or what) he finally gave us $60 of our money back. I understand a no refund policy for certain things but in this particular situation, I feel that these people were just being jerks! There's no way they weren't aware of the concert and they were just out to take people for any amount of money they could. So just don't rent from these jerks. I wouldn't want anyone else to pay $70-$75 to almost get arrested. That's not exactly the way you want to spend a vacation!

The guy ask did he want them to put it on and my husband said no that he was going to do it when we got back home . So the guy goes to get the part and come back and ask again what year his bike is . So huband tells him aging so guy said ok comes back and said yes we have it but we can't sell it to you unless we Install it . My husband said what ? the guy we may need it if someone comes in and needs one put on we will have it for them . So we can't sell it to you . Unless we Install it for you So our friend went to the counter and said I can't believe you just told him you can't sell him apart because he doesn't want y'all to install it for him . so we left . And went to the other Harley Davidson . The one called at the Beach so he goes in there the lady in there told him that she didn't have any but had one at her other store . my husband said so your store and that store are sisters and she said yes . So he told her the story . About they would not sell it to him . So she goes and calls the other store and come back and saids I got one I can overnight it but it will cost you $30.00 dollars for me to do that . My husband said told her I don't think so . he said if you can over night one . then why can't y'all overnight one if y'all need it .instead of trying to make me pay for overnighting it . so my husband call another Harley dealer and come to find out the owner to the Myrtle Beach one and the one called at the beach was there and he told my husband to go back there to the Mrytel Beach and speak to the general manager, so he went and spoke to the general manager of Harley Davidson Myrtle Beach. she called my husband and our friend a liar and said that he did not talk to owner of the store and my husband played her the message the own left him on his phone so then she trJed to tell my husband that the owner of the store was standing by the door with the police officer so my husband said well tell him to come over here then and she wouldn't do it . And she said that the lady at the other store did not tell him that she could overnight one for $30 and I was standing right there . so she got pissed and told my husband that she was gonna make the guy sell him the part . So my husband let her get everything set up for him to buy the part and after she got everything set up to buy the part, he told her never mind. He didn't want the part . that he would never be back in again. She said she didn't care and he said he was going to call corporate and she said she didn't care who he called . So you know we have never never had any problems with any Harley dealers but I can promise one thing I will never step foot back in that Mrytel Beach dealer again I don't even want to say they are a Harley Davidson dealer . They where rude. very wrong. They're not professional at all. He called other dealers. which we did and ask them if they would sell parts during a bike week to people that don't need them to install them. they said they would never have a problem selling a part on any bike week days and no they don't have to Install. you can just buy it .they would sell it to you with no problem even if it was the last one . but Myrtle Beach and the one called at the beach never again will they have our business ! I understand if a deal can't be made--that's completely fine--but cutting a customer off while they're asking reasonable questions about pricing is unprofessional. Not giving straightforward answers comes across as evasive and deceptive. If there had been transparency from the beginning about the numbers, the trade-in value, and the work done on the bike, this situation likely wouldn't have escalated. A more honest and respectful approach would have gone a long way.
