The pain continued, and when the tooth cracked in half, I was effectively denied care in what felt like an urgent situation until payment was made first. What may have been manageable with timely intervention ultimately progressed to needing an implant--leaving me with a far bigger and far more expensive problem to solve. The office manager was defensive and seemed more focused on protecting the practice than facilitating care or addressing a legitimate concern. Combined with the dentist's aloof response and delays in forwarding my records, this completely eroded my trust. Deeply disappointing experience.

Some of the things I look at when choosing a Dentist include: new dental technologies, experience of the dental team and a clean and modern facility. I definitely made the right choice! Newest dental technologies are important to me because it means the dental team has the latest and greatest equipment to care for their patients. One piece of technology I especially look for is the availability of SAME DAY Dentistry (usually used when talking about crowns). Typically, getting a crown takes messy impressions and then WEEKS of waiting while the lab creates the crown. With same day dentistry, the Dentist will scan your tooth and the crown is made THAT DAY, IN OFFICE and places it before you leave saving TONS of wait time. I'm familiar with the CEREC system but I believe Dr. Bell mentions a E4D but it appears to be similar. Other technology that I noticed at this office include an easier/quicker digital Xray system, intraoral cameras, etc. You can always have a wonderful staff but if their equipment is from 1960, that concerns me. So once I know the technology appears to be "up to my standards" I look at the staff. Luckily, Dr. Bell and his staff are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Dr. Bell has excellent bedside manner. He's extremely knowledgeable and thorough. A new Dentist has joined the team, her name is Dr. Mohn and she is great as well! I've had the pleasure of having Courtney and Monica as my dental hygienists and they're both AMAZING. They were equally awesome with our daughter's FIRST DENTAL VISITS (which can sometimes be traumatic for kids)!!! I LOVE that there was no need for us to go to a specialized pediatric dentist! To round off our amazing experience here, Health Centered Dentistry has a beautiful, clean and modern office. The waiting room is gorgeous and comfortable! Especially rude to my kid when he started driving himself to appointments. My kid has been in braces for 3 1/2 years with zero communication as to why. Of course according to them it is all my son's fault - he doesn't do what he is told to do...yet at meals he is constantly removing his bands and putting new ones in after the meal. Maybe it's poor orthodontic work that is the issue? All I know enough is enough. After advice from our dentist and his hygienist his braces are coming off. Guess we will have to continue to tolerate the crappy circumstances at Reznik to get through the retainer- but any other orthodontic work will be done by Dr. Phillips - the best orthodontist in Midland.

Paid complete $6k total upfront for braces for my son in 2020. A bracket recently came unglued from…read moreone of his teeth and was sliding back and forth on the wire, cutting his lip. We spent 2 days over the weekend putting wax on it. The wax did not last long due to the movement and rotation around the wire with the bracket cutting his lip. I called the office early Monday morning to see if they could get him in for a quick appt to re-glue the bracket. The receptionist said they could not see him for 2 weeks. She also told me to take the bracket off myself or remove the wire and slide the bracket off. Excuse me, isn't that part of what I paid this office for?! I asked if they were really that busy that they could not fit in an emergency appt. She was incredibly rude and said it would take at least an hour to fix and they were completely booked. I find it hard to believe that to glue a bracket on would take an hour as our normal appts are less than 30 mins. This is the second emergency issue that my son has had. The first time a wire coming out of a bracket and poking out. The first time I let it slide that they could not immediately get him in. However, a second time is inexcusable. It is irresponsible that a provider would not leave some room in their schedule for emergency issues and not make their patients suffer for over 2 weeks waiting for an appt. An office unwilling to try to accommodate emergency issues is concerning that they do not have the patient's best interest at heart. As a parent looking to have another child in braces soon, I will more than likely take my business elsewhere where patient care is top priority.
