Taylor always gives me the best service. She has my drink when I walk in the bar and always greats me with a smile. I love it.

I stopped in today for the first time to have lunch. They do not have a large menu, but they do offer something for everyone it appears. Nice selection of beer and wine. They even have their own Irish whiskey which I did not try on this visit. I ordered fish and chips for lunch. The fish was nicely cooked and very flaky and tasted great. The chips are true pub chips; thick and fried on the spot. Definitely something I will order again. The atmosphere is clean with plenty of televisions. Nice smoke-free environment. They have a juke box, a pool table and Golden Tee. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. I will certainly be back. read more

Won't ever be back. Stopped here for lunch and it took over 40 minutes to get our food, which we had to get to go because we had another appointment to get to. The service was horrible she took our order once and walked off and five minutes later came back to ask what I ordered because she didn't write it down or go and put it in the system. Then to make things worse the chicken tenders were not even cooked all the way through and had to be thrown away. Don't waste your time or your money going here. read more

Our first time here so I could try their Monte Christo sandwich; I was not disappointed with it. Could have used a little more raspberry jam though. The Bloody Mary tasted good and I guess I should feel lucky to get one olive and one slice of lime discovered sitting in bottom of glass. Commensurate celery stalk missing. I came in during lunch. They weren't very inviting, but once I got their attention they were friendly. I ordered a Midleton Burger. It was dry and had 0 flavor. It was also burnt to a crisp. The fries had little seasoning as well. I ended up ordering a Carribean Cruiser shot to get rid of the taste and it was delicious! My waitress, Toria, was amazing and had a great personality. I love the atmosphere! It's sports bar, it's dive bar, it's party bar, all in one! Their French fries are AMAZING. And the bartenders are really nice. Their chicken strips? THE BEST CHICKEN STRIPS I HAVE EVER HAD. You know how most chicken strips have an out shell almost, a hard, crunchy shell? Not these! These are light, airy, crispy, so flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and, PURE WHITE MEAT! No tendons or weird rubbery chewy things like most strips. Definitely go here. It's great. read more

Well, I saw the many good reviews about this place , so I came to try it just to be disappointed with the place and the food, order a chicken sandwich and it was terrible, looked more like a fast food sandwich than a restaurant, very small, not cooked all the way with way too many spices. Saturday night and they had one person doing all tables and the bar. We went there to eat and had a drink and left. Waitress was great considering the stress she had to deal with of being the only person there . We've been to Midelton's a few times now and enjoy not only their service but their food. Their wait staff has always been quick to acknowledge and offer a drink. Get there for Happy Hour for a damn good burger & fry basket. Various TVs with sports and good music. read more

Stopped in for a weekday lunch ca. 1:30pm. Place was pretty empty. We had the same Asian waitress some other Yelpers have mentioned that was unfriendly and gave terrible service. Check and check. I had fish n chips. Other party members had portobello burger (she though it was ok, but not worth going back for) and cottage pie (she loved it). Fish had a great beer batter on it, two big filets perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, both pieces of fish had this weird toughness, like freezer burn or something. Flavorless, to boot. Tartar sauce seemed like just plain mayo. Fries were good, and I thought the housemade chips with the portobello burger were great. Skip the food and stop in for a pint or your favorite cocktail, but sit at the bar (you'll still experience mediocre service). Table service is abysmal. Went for a late Saturday lunch. Place was almost empty, which is not unexpected at 2 p.m. on a sunny weekend. They were out of the beer I ordered. My club sandwich was just like I'd make at home, which is not cool because I could have made it at home! This was one of our favorite places to go, we always had good service and food and drinks were good as well. We also always had a fairly large tab, our last visit, however, resulted in being charged twice for our bill. I called and spoke with the owner who assured me he would look into the matter and rectify the situation, that was 3 days ago, I've been nothing but polite but now he refuses to answer his phone or return my calls, all the while owing me $170.00. We sat and waited 20 min for one beer because the girls felt it was more important to talk to their friends and snack on their food than to wait on other customers. When I asked again for the beer I was treated with sarcasm and rudeness because they work at still house and not at middletons. We ordered a glass of wine and the bartender asked me if it was white or red. Pretty basic to know what color the wine was but they didn't. Won't be coming back unless Ashley is here. FYI-- there are or were other reviews for this restaurant but they have somehow been reset since the restaurant is showing as "moved" on Yelp. Midleton's is very much a bar first-- dimly lit with sports on TV and lots of bar-height tables. But there are a good number of lower tables and the food menu is surprisingly comprehensive. My husband and I stopped in for dinner. The service is very informal and it seemed there was one real waitress and then the bartenders to serve the whole restaurant, so don't expect a true restaurant-style dining experience. The ladies did a good job of keeping an eye on us though. We started with the chicken nachos per the waitress's suggestion. Nothing special and I wish it had been served hotter, but not bad. It's clear by how quickly this dish came out that all the ingredients were pre-cooked and then just thrown together when we ordered. Next we split the 32 Counties burger. Again, very quickly prepared, decent but nothing special. Burger was extremely well-done (pretty overcooked honestly) but still had a decent amount of charbroiled flavor. Fries were good but I would have preferred them to be served hotter. I think Midleton's would be a great place to stop in after work for some drinks with friends and a few appetizers. It's 21 and up so no kids. I wouldn't really come back for just the food, and my 3-star rating is based on the restaurant aspect of this establishment. read more

If you are looking merely for a cold beer to drink and a TV to watch some sports, then this bar is great. (Unless someone decides to throw a dollar in the juke box which is way too loud for such a tiny reverberating space) However, I've given the food several chances and after last night I'm done. I got the Cottage pie this time... It was undercooked and lukewarm. I hate asking for anything again, but I literally couldn't eat it... I told the waitress about it, and she came back with the EXACT replica of the lukewarm plate. Pretty sure the mashed potatoes had been sitting around for a few days in a fridge. I'm going to start by saying this place has no idea what a Cuban sandwich is suppose to be. I expected a pressed, grilled sandwich but it was in a hamburger bun. The meats were grossly overcooked and they forgot any type of seasoning. My friend tried the pulled pork sandwich and only ate one bite. They put cole slaw and pickles on it and no BBQ sauce. If you like dry, old-tasting pulled pork you should go for it. The only saving grace was the fries. Tried this place out twice now. First time was the week when they opened, the beer lines were mixed up so my smithwicks tasted like cider! The food that day was ok not expensive just had a burger so hard to mess up! Next time we went in the evening and I had the bangers and mash not very good at all. My wife's chicken salad had very little chicken in it and the chicken that was in it was like rubber. Service was very blah asked waitress a question she more or less ignored me. Wot is sad is this could be a great place! The Location is great! The actual place is quite nice its roomy, ok beer selection too. I just think the food is not great and the service is bad. Let me start off with saying that this place was PACKED (good for them but not my thing). Went with nine other people for my friend's birthday on a Saturday night. There was no seating left and the only comfortable standing room (space-wise) was over by the pool table, which was occupied. The tables are crammed so close together that even when you do manage to get a table it is almost impossible to get to the other side of the room where the bathrooms are located. What made me give this experience only one star was the fact that the waitresses and security were throwing coasters at each other and happened to hit me right above my eye and also hit my friend in the side of the head with one. The waitress who hit me near my eye apologized but the bouncer who hit my friend in the head, when confronted about it, proceeded to want to start a fight instead of apologize. I will never return there and hope my experience helps them fix some things about their establishment. read more

Wife and I went to see UFC 202 without having to pay for PPV. TV's in all areas, we even grabbed the last booth in the corner around 8:45 and still had ample viewing for the fights. So A+ for having the fights and having plenty of views no matter the angle in the bar. For a very busy night our waitress was very much on point. Our Cokes were refilled regularly and my Sam Adams Boston Lager was also refilled in ample time over the course of the night. To top it off they actually served Boston Lager in the official Sam Adams glass. For non Sam Adams fans this may not mean much but it is huge. We never felt unattended even though they were extremely busy. As far as the food goes I think it is excellent for pub food. Not fine dining by any means but for what you pay and what you get it is hard to beat. We started with chips and queso (which includes salsa) and it was really good. After that we ordered Teriyaki Beef Skewers with Rice and Pulled Chicken Nachos. Let me just say both are excellent!!! The beef skewers remind me of the $14 kaboobs at the Tulsa State Fair but are only $7.99 for two skewers with three pieces of steak on each. The pulled chicken nachos have the house queso, pico and the pulled chicken which has an amazing smokey flavor. Due to our great experience for UFC 202 we went back tonight. I was curious to see what the consistency was like, especially considering this was a much lighter crowd with no major sporting events going on. We ordered the chips and queso again, except this time the queso was runny. I started thinking, oh boy, here goes the consistency. The queso, while runny, tasted great and the salsa is good too, you can tell it's homemade. The beef skewers were on point as usual and instead of pulled chicken nachos we opted for a set of six mild buffalo wings. I was expecting breading on the wings but they came naked. At first I was disappointed but once I bit into them I retracted that sentiment. The naked wings must have been deep fried as the skin had a crunch to them that was amazing for something that wasn't breaded. I wouldn't have minded the hot but my wife likes mild so we went with that. Overall the wings were excellent and the flavor of the buffalo sauce was good. Due to not having consistency on the queso and having had better pub food elsewhere I can't give this place anymore than a 4 out of 5 but it is def' worth the stop on the right night with the right order of food. Can't speak about the rest of the menu. Hope to be able to review a few other choices there for future UFC's. read more

My husband and I tried Midleton's on a Saturday night. It was our first time going in and I really liked the way it was set up. There was a lot of seating, but it was spread out enough that you didn't feel overly crowded. I think this also helped keep it a little quieter than some other pub/grill's that we have tried. After seating ourselves, our waitress was there quickly asking what we wanted to drink. Throughout the night, our service was decent. Our waitress had another big table that was having a birthday party, so she enlisted the help of another waitress to make sure we had what we needed. We split the cheese fries as an appetizer. It was a huge portion and tasted really good. Not the best cheese fries I've had, but I would order them again. Both of us ordered burgers and substituted homemade chips instead of fries. My burger was really good and the chips were pretty good. It was another huge portion. I ended up taking half of my burger and a large portion of chips home with me. I would be interested in going back and trying some of their other food options. read more
