First and foremost, they are a garden center and sell plants and other such things. They also sell pumpkins in various sizes, and some by weight, and we purchased a couple to carve up ("You didn't tell me you were going to kill it!") They also had lots of activities for the kids. There were at least a half-dozen wooden picture boards with holes cut out for kids to put their heads through and parents to take pictures. I remember Peanuts, Bluey, Spiderman and Friends, Monsters, etc. They also had a maze of sorts constructed of hay bales (they were only stacked 2-3 high so parents could keep in eye contact. They had a train ride that circled the area. They had a larger corn maze geared more for parents. They had a really long darkened indoor display of at least 100 artificial pumpkins carved into various faces and scenes and lit with Christmas lights. That was cool. And they had a large model train exhibit detailed with lots of fun toys and buildings for kids. That's the good part. The bad part is that because of the rain the outdoor train wasn't running (thankfully, they refunded our tickets which are only good on the day purchased). The rain also made exploring the outdoor activities wet and a bit tiresome. We had to skip some completely. Inside, the train layout consisting of about a half-dozen loops of G scale track and various scenes (adventure, pirates, castles, Star Wars, Harry Potter, amusement park, etc.) were nice to look at but only one engine was running despite at least four loops of track. Why weren't the other trains running? They had food for sale including baked goods and hot items like hot dogs and coffee. My cookie was extremely dry as if they had baked it a week before. But, it wasn't terribly expensive so that was nice. Some of the things I listed above are free, and some have an extra cost attached. So, plan accordingly. Did we have a good time? Um, sort of. But we made the best of it despite the bad weather. On a nice day, it would have been a ton of fun so we will have to return in the future.

I was so happy to find such a great selection of veggie seedlings to choose from to start my…read moregarden. A HUGE variety of tomatoes and lots of hot peppers I hadn't see anywhere else. They have 6 packs of veggie starters - where as other places have moved to just selling singles. I prefer the multi pack so was happy to find such a great selection. Also lots of flowers and hanging baskets that were absolutely beautiful. The store has lots of gardening supplies and decorations. Bird baths, gnomes, chimes, trellises, you name it! I had lots of fun shopping and planning my veggie garden. There are also large greenhouses to wander through. Very nice employees as well. Great experience all around.

My husband and I were truly impressed by the quality of the product they offer. But the main reason we now consider this to be our new 'go to' is the exceptional customer service that was provided to us; McKenzie and Evelyn are great, both very friendly and helpful. Beyond Your Garden isn't the closest nursery to us; there are at least five others that are a shorter drive. But when you stop at a business to check it out, find everything you're looking for, and walk away feeling like you've known the staff for years, it's definitely one worth returning to again and again. I can't wait until next Spring to see what the have in stock!

Ultimately we've got three trees from Bob's, and even though two of the trees had issues, the staff have been understanding and reasonable in working with us for a resolution. Bob's has a big stock and variety of trees and plants of various sizes, and the tranquil location makes for a pleasant day trip for a walk amongst potted plants and dug-up trees ready to go. Their brochure is helpful for looking up and browsing an updated selection of available trees for listed prices, and staff have been consistently friendly and helpful, and not surprisingly, very knowledgeable. I would recommend Bob's Trees without hesitation, and I hope they stay open and successful for a very long time.

Besides the plants in their greenhouse, they also offer some seeds, produce, eggs and fresh farm-raised meat (might want to check in advance to see when the latter are available). They're open daily from April through Halloween and on weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Besides some of the common varieties of annuals and perennials, they also offer a number of less common flowers that you might not see in the garden center of the big box or larger greenhouses. I recall I also saw petunias and pansies of less common colors. They had hanging baskets galore, mostly flowers but also some strawberry plants already producing fruit. The owners are great. They're glad to chat with you about anything: the plants that interest you, their plans for the farm, animal pests, local color, etc. My mom mentioned that last December, they brought flowers to her senior center, and she raved about them.

We had not been there in a few years and did not remember that credit cards are not accepted. We realized this as we we at the register. The owner gave us our plants and told us to come back at our convenience with the money. Very trusting and nice. We returned with payment within two hours. When we were on our way there we were not sure if they were still in business because advertising signs in the area where no longer there. Turns out the signs were stolen. It is a shame that people would take them because that comes at a cost to hard working small businesses.
