Scheduled an appt at the 101 cowardin location before I had to go to work. I show up and apparently…read morethe entire business had moved locations without informing me (and maybe the rest of their patients!). I didn't have time to drive another 7 mi out of the way, and make it back in time for work, when the appointment was done. So they forced me to reschedule. I asked if I could get at least one or two more months of my birth control refilled since I was at the end of my script and they said no. I said it's not my fault you guys didn't tell me the business moved far out of the way to the point I can't make the appointment now. I had to hassle them to give me a month of birth control since the next available appointment wasn't for another month or so. Get a new appointment and see the doctor. I waited in the office, naked in that drapery for probably close to 40 mins. Like I was legitimately sweating and had to pee really badly by the time 20 mins passed and wondered if I should redress to go to the bathroom, or if she would show up soon. I didn't want to miss her so I just held it and waited (which, mind you is not comfortable when she has to put the speculum in and palpate your abdomen with a full bladder). She had nice bedside manner when she arrived. I forget her name unfortunately but she was the nicest part of the practice I've experienced. She said they'd give me a call with my pap smear results in two weeks. Two weeks later... 3 weeks later... A month later... I call asking for results. The receptionist said she'd leave a note for the nurse and they'd get back to me tomorrow. Tomorrow... One week later... I call again. Same thing. "I'll leave a message and someone will get back to you." I asked her to please mark the note that it's urgent since it's been about a month and a half since my appointment with still no call with my results and someone said they'd call me back the last time. I call again today at noon. SAME ORDEAL. It's 4:15 and I just called again because their customer service is ABYSSMAL. I work in a restaurant where people have NOTHING nice to say even when we give GREAT customer service. I wish yelp held any weight for medical practices because this company wouldn't be doing well based on all of the negative responses. Maybe THAT would change how they treat their PATIENTS. You think they would be better at being considerate of people's time, and their feelings towards sensitive subjects like test results, being in the healing field of "helping" people.

Just waiting to pay a balance due raised my blood pressure. I said "Oh good Lord" when the human who eventually answered said I'd need to call a different number for that. Said human disconnected me and summarily dumped my call back. This was 4:10PM, Friday May 16th.

Doctors Lorena and Kevin Harvey opened Physicians of Family Medicine over twenty years ago, at their Oxbridge office. I do not know the exact year, but I have been a very satisfied patient for over twenty years. I have been extremely happy with her husband (Dr. Kevin) as my primary care provider for most of those years. When he retired, I was worried about getting another primary care physician and tried his replacement, Dr. Marshall. I was not happy with him and was told I might like Dr. Lorena better. The office staff was correct and I have been very happy with Dr. Lorena Harvey. She has seen me through many rough times and I have a great respect for her. I have a hard time scheduling appointments around my work schedule and they are always willing to work around my schedule to be sure I get the great service I desire and need. She works out of their Cloverhill office located at 13861 Hull Street Road, Midlothian VA. 23112. It is not exactly on Hull Street Road so I do not know how they got this exact address, but it is across from Food Lion and Burger King just off of Hull street next to Outback Steakhouse. Also, a quick note that if she does not have an appointment available when you need one, there are a number of other doctors in the office that may be able to fir you in their schedules, and their Oxbridge office is open on Saturdays for walk-ins, no appointment necessary. I'm not preggers, so I shouldn't have to get two doctors just because I have girly parts. After much hunting, I found Primary Health Group. They're my one stop shop. The office is well kept, the staff are friendly, and my doctor is very attentive and make sure I understand what we're doing, what lab results mean, etc. Love my doc.

The rest of the office staff I have had to work with have proven to be completely incompetent at their job. I needed to have an MRI done because of getting hit by a car while on a bicycle (told to me by the ER and my ortho surgeon that I needed it done before I had surgery to fix a broken collarbone). I couldn't get in to see Motsinger so I had an appointment with NP Carter who told me he didn't think I needed an MRI. Odd when I was told by other medical professionals to get one before my surgery. I also needed to get a rush on the MRI to have it done before surgery. Well...they first sent over my information and had my name wrong so the hospital scheduling the MRI couldn't find me in their system. Midlothian also didn't put a rush on the MRI. There were a number of back and forth calls before I could finally get it scheduled. I had the MRI done on a Tuesday. Surgery on the collarbone on Thursday. I called Friday to see if my MRI results were back yet- Midlothian told me no (I was told by the hospital they'd be sent over on Wednesday before surgery). I called the hospital and they confirmed the results were sent to Midlothian Wednesday. I called back and told Midlothian what the hospital said. What do you know?? The results magically appeared. I then got another call a few hours later from Midlothian saying the results were in and wanted to go over them even after I had just spoken to them. Fast forward 4 months- Midlothian called me today to say the hospital has been trying to reach me to schedule the MRI and can't get a hold of me and wanted to know if I wanted to have it canceled. I never received any calls from the hospital and told Midlothian that's odd because I had the MRI done 4 months ago. It's safe to say I would never trust this place to handle any more of my medical needs
