The last time I got a haircut in this area was at their previous location with the amazing Fran. She had been cutting hair for some time and whenever I'm in the area and are in need of a really good haircut/hairstyle, Fran has always been my go to! Since I had just moved back to Loma Linda and needed a haircut, I couldn't settle for any other haircut place or any other hair dresser other than with Fran and/or wherever she was currently working. I had to do some research and figure out where the new Reveal Hair and Body was located. It was a bit confusing at first since they changed their name to Sante Beauty Bar, but their logo of a white lotus was still the same. I first looked the business up online and called their main number about 11am without any answer. I then stopped by their salon that same day, on a Sunday afternoon at about 1pm, only to discover the doors locked, their lights off, and their front door saying they're by appointment only. I nearly gave up until I received a phone call from their number at about 5pm that same day. The call was from one of their representatives following up to set up an appointment with one of their stylists. I then opted in for text messages to schedule a hair appointment the following day. About an hour and half after the phone call, I received a text about an opening for 1pm the following day with the hair stylist Sundae. I personally didn't mind that the hairstylist was someone I didn't know since the process of scheduling a haircut already seemed to be a few steps too many, and the cut I wanted was pretty straightforward. I showed up to the salon the following day right at 1pm, with the relief that someone was inside and the door was unlocked. To my surprise, I found Fran, the only stylist in the salon when I walked in, asking if I had an appointment. I then mentioned to her that I had scheduled with the hair stylist, Sundae, at 1pm. Fran then broke the news that Sundae had cancelled my appointment and should've told me. I was slightly shocked and confused since I didn't receive any notification of any changes in my appointment. I would've been happy to reschedule, but without hesitation, Fran told me that she would cut my hair herself. Even though Fran had another hair appointment, she was very professional and the end result of my haircut was amazing. Fran hadn't lost her touch after all this time. The salon itself looked ready for customers, but still in the early decorating stages. There was definitely some difficulty getting a hold of someone to make an appointment and not much communication of any appointment updates (like a cancellation). This whole process felt like a lot of hoops to go through since I just needed a trim. Overall, the customer service of the entirety for the salon was about a 3/5 stars. The customer service of Fran was a 5/5 even until now.
