Never mind that there is a mess of construction just a little outside of the garage, the inside of the garage is spacious, clean, well lit and most importantly, easy to navigate. No questioning where is in and out. No risk of being stuck in there all night. Just simple, pimple. On top of that, the most amazing part was when I went to pay at the machine with my ticket, and after parking for 8 hrs my total was only $6?!? I don't know of any other public garages in the area where you can park that long for so cheap! That works out to like, $0.75 an hour! What a deal. Our vehicle was involved in an accident on August 1, 2026, at approximately 4:40 p.m., while it was…read morein the care of U Street Parking, Inc., which was providing valet services at the Residence Inn by Marriott Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus. The valet attendant involved was Senbeta Alemseged. Police responded to the scene and completed a report. We understand that accidents can happen. What made this experience particularly distressing was what happened afterward. After the police officer left the scene, we dealt directly with Henok Tesfaye, President and CEO of U Street Parking. At a time when we needed assistance after our vehicle had been involved in an accident while under his company's care, we found Mr. Tesfaye's communication with us to be rude and unhelpful. Most concerning was the difficulty we experienced obtaining the necessary insurance claim information. Mr. Tesfaye refused to contact his insurance company to obtain an accident claim number for us. As a result, we were left trying to obtain this information ourselves. We ultimately spent more than six hours of our final day and evening in Baltimore attempting to obtain the claim number and dealing with the aftermath of the accident. We were scheduled to leave Baltimore the following morning. Instead of enjoying our final evening and preparing for our departure, we spent hours trying to obtain basic insurance claim information following an accident involving our vehicle while it was under this company's care. The accident itself was upsetting, but the lack of assistance afterward significantly compounded our distress and frustration. In our experience, this situation could have been handled with far greater professionalism, responsiveness, and concern for the customer. Based on our experience following the accident, we were extremely disappointed with the customer service and assistance we received from U Street Parking.
