This review is actually for Atlantic Services Group for The Veridian parking garage. (This is the business address listed even though the parking lot was in Silver Spring, MD.) It's been a full week since reviewing a public parking garage and after a flood of feverish requests for more, here ya go. LOL I was sooo super stoked about this parking garage. Never mind that there is a mess of construction just a little outside of the garage, the inside of the garage is spacious, clean, well lit and most importantly, easy to navigate. No questioning where is in and out. No risk of being stuck in there all night. Just simple, pimple. On top of that, the most amazing part was when I went to pay at the machine with my ticket, and after parking for 8 hrs my total was only $6?!? I don't know of any other public garages in the area where you can park that long for so cheap! That works out to like, $0.75 an hour! What a deal. ASG has handled the valet and transportation services for 3 different events I have hosted, 2 corporate and 1 personal. The company provided valet services and transportation services. Booking - The booking process was easy, and the staff was great. I did have a bunch of last minute questions on one of the corporate events, and ASG handled these very well. Marty Janis, one of the owners, even reached out to me to make sure that things were running smoothly. Operations - At all 3 events, the folks helping out did an outstanding job. They were professional to our guests, but remained in the background of course. Follow Up - ASG also did a great job following up with me after the events to make sure things went well. The W Hotel's 3rd party Valet Service (Atlantic Service Group) returned my valet car with a dime size scratch on my rear bumper which stripped away the paint of that area completely. A report was submitted for "Investigation" and noting that this investigation will be concluded in a week. Its been 5 weeks with me calling them two times asking them the conclusion. Their reply is "We are still investigating." Its doesn't take a rocket scientist to know they are ignoring me in the hopes of me giving up. Note: Investigation is worthless due to the fact that they have no evidence of how the car was handed to them. If you decide to valet, take note or pictures of your cars condition. read more

Ive used them for a lot of limos, busing, valet parking at events, etc. Its an unbelievable, service oriented company that has some of the best employees Ive ever come into contact with. We decided to use the valet parking service for our guests' cars at a private, house party. From the first phone call to the final car leaving our home, Atlantic did a fantastic job. Really easy to book by phone only days before the event. The valet attendants were great - on-time, careful, and courteous. Very helpful in assisting a few of our less mobile guests to enter the house. Highly recommend Atlantic and we would use them again any time. read more

Update: The owner Marty Janis reached out to me as soon as he heard of this incident. Although there is disagreement on who is at fault, Mr. Janis stepped in and helped bring this matter to a satisfactory resolution. His actions showed that he cares about his customers. You MUST ask RECEIPTS and KEEP them FOREVER! One of the staff members just called me that I need to pay for unpaid invoice which was made 8 month ago or PROVE it by showing receipts! I am very frustrated and upset that she just kept blaming me for not keeping my receipts. I must ask- Is it a common sense to blame the customer for not keeping a receipt more than a half year when the service provider is the one making further requests? Should a customer be always prepared for the case when someone calls you 8 months after the purchase and say that you have to pay for the item since you don't have the receipt? Do you keep the paper receipt from last December? I almost always use my credit card but I couldn't that time since you have a cash-only policy. I am glad I used the bank check. What if I paid cash and was accused of this? The main issue was that an invoice for the same item was added twice to my account. I figured out that an invoice for the same item was added twice to my account by myself after wasting my time to check my account history records.(NOT MY FAULT) When I emailed her that there seems to be a mistake, she emailed that she would just remove the charges, without explaining why this happened, why she decided to remove it and specifically- without an apology.I was mostly annoyed that I wasted my time to struggle with this issue and she offered nothing by way of apology. Even when she became aware of what the problem is( she made a duplicate charge for a single purchase), she kept saying this happened because I did not keep the receipt, which has nothing to do with this problem. If she is asking for the duplicate charge that has been added ( and I am in no way aware of) , how could I prove that I did not order another set of chaser by showing a receipt that doesn't exist? I requested her to provide all my order forms I submitted to check if I made two or one. But she just refused to answer. However, after doing so I received no response... not even an acknowledgement that they had received my complaint. My company did a buy out of a very exclusive restaurant and the restaurant hired ATLANTIC VALET to work the parking. Many of us had items stolen from our cars including Metro Cards, electronics and money from items left in the car. Disgusting and disturbing. read more

If I could give this company a negative I definitely would. Moved to DC for the summer at the end of May and called the parking garage (run by apg) near my apartment to purchase a monthly parking pass. After calling and speaking with a man, I was told that I could come in and fill out the paperwork when I arrived. Being told this, I'm assuming that it's a process that had to be done in person and where payment could also be made. I go to the parking office on the day I arrive around 2pm (Office hours are 12-4 M-F). I fill out the paperwork and as I go to pay, the man tells me you can't pay in person with cash. The paperwork states cash as an option and he replies that "the form is old". SO that's my fault? I was waiting on my debit card in the mail to be sent to new address. So I go to the bank up the street to get a temp bank card and by the time I'm finished, the office is closed (of course). So I go back the next day with my bank card and a woman sitting at the desk tells me you have to pay over the phone with bank cards. So now, I'm thinking why couldn't they just have told me that in the beginning? She calls whoever runs the payment and apparently they're out on lunch. I have to be somewhere so I don't have time to sit and wait (assuming the transaction wouldn't take long). She gives me a number to call and I do so while I'm driving later. No one answers after 3 times. I call again hours later and I'm told that I can go online and fill out the paperwork and process the payment. (!!!!!) So now I'm thinking, I did all this running back and forth when it could have been done online?! Obviously everyone doesn't know the process. I go online later and lo and behold. The specific garage that I want to purchase the pass for isn't online. At this point it's friday past 4pm and I start work on Monday (a 9-5 meaning I'm no longer available during office hours). (All the while I'm paying ridiculous overnight parking fees each day). On Monday, I find time during work to call the company again and tell them about the site. The man on the phone tells me that I have to go in to the office to purchase that parking pass and with a CHECK. (Idk who still uses checks?! especially as a 20's something) I tell him that it's impossible because I work during the office hours. If I could, I would.. He has absolutely no solution for me. I hang up. So I guess you're just not allowed to purchase the parking pass unless your available on weekdays to physically come in during the hours that most people work? That was about two weeks ago and I still don't have a parking pass as I literally couldn't go into the office and purchase it. After calling, talking in person, AND visiting the website I still have nothing but frustration to show for it. I assume I'll have to get a friend who stays near by to do it for me?? I'm still not sure. Overall VERY VERY poor customer service, customer experience, communication, and organization of information. read more

I have rented buses from Atlantic Services Group several times for my daughter's high school field hockey team. The entire process was easy and smooth. The buses were very nice and clean. The bus drivers have been professional and reliable. These buses were used for distances ranging from 150 to 200 miles. The buses would return three days later to pick up the team. I would highly recommend Atlantic Services Group! On a side note, I have also attended events where the Atlantic Services Group was in charge of the valet services. We had a most enjoyable day, thanks to Atlantic. The bus was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, and comfortable and accommodating in every way. Many people commented on how wonderful the bus was. Everyone was extremely impressed by the driver, Michael Freeman. He was absolutely perfect. He made sure we arrived at each of the four destinations at exactly the minute we anticipated arrival in our schedule. He maneuvered the narrow streets of downtown Baltimore with almost unbelievable skill. He received several spontaneous rounds of applause for his driving. He was respectful and polite, yet friendly and fun. Natnael made coordinating our trip easy and effortless. If we do take another group trip (very possible) we will choose Atlantic Transportation as our carrier, and we certainly recommend Atlantic to others. Thank you for making me look good! read more

Parking can always be a pain but I found the parking attendant was very helpful with providing directions. He was super nice and helpful to someone who isn't from a big city. I felt that my car was safe with this parking service. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely use them again! read more

My roommate and myself are both victims of the Atlantic Services Group. In a three month span, we were both overcharged multiple times for parking, and after acknowledging our complaints, they stopped responding to emails regarding our accounts and the actual refund process. As others here have noted, if avoidable, it is in your best interest to do so. I would never park here again. I came in from out of town to spend one night. Arrived at 5:00pm. Parking attendant told me cash only and asked when I was leaving. I said by 9:00am the next morning. He said I had to pay 16 cash upfront. I did not think to get a receipt but I should have left at that point, but for some reason decided to leave my car there. When I arrived back at 9:00am the next morning, the new parking attendant demanded another $16 cash. I told him I paid, but he said if I did not pay again, he would call the police on me. I called the corporate people to complain and they apologized profusely and said they would mail me a refund. They never mailed a refund. This company ripped me off. If your sign says $16 and your attendant does too, don't steal extra money from your clients and then not own up to it. $16 for up to 24 hours IS A LIE! Seriously, park somewhere else. read more

We have a complicated parking situation at our house. A very long one way pipestem and remote parking 1/4 mile away. We have had many challenges with Valet services over the years. This past weekend we had a charity fundraiser at our house for 125 people. Atlantic Valet sent out Rolando who was an A+ supervisor. He tried a few things that valets had never tried before, by staging some cars around the house and constantly moving the cars furthest away closer in. The event went off without a hitch and many of our guests complimented us on the smooth operation of the valet service. We were very impressed and Atlantic will be our first call for our next event. read more

I was meeting up a friend for breakfast at DuPont Circle and wanted to make sure about parking because I didn't have a lot of time and was driving my company car. I called ahead to the lot on Mass Ave and they were really helpful from the start and even found the time to give me directions. I didn't need them but it was really nice of the guy. Once I got there everything went really smooth. I don't usually review a parking garage but honestly they deserved it. I was even able to take advantage of their early bird special... $12! read more

I park in the 1990 K Street location and pay a monthly rate of $245. I am supposed to be guaranteed a place to park however in the past 3 months I have parked there the lot has been full and I have had to park in the driving aisle and leave my keys. The lot is not handicap accessible, and is difficult to navigate through. Most days the cars are parked so closely that it is difficult getting in and out of your car. Several people that I work with have had their cars damaged, and the parking attendants can sometimes be quite rude. If you do not have to park there like I do I, or if you have a nice car and don't want it damaged I'd say don't park in this lot. Maybe other locations are better but this one is awful. read more

Booking was a breeze with Natnael, and he was very helpful in understanding my needs and giving his best recommendations. I normally use ASG and do a monthly parking at one of its garages. I stopped doing so a few months ago and told them for now I would stop using the garage. At that point, my balance was paid in full and I received a confirmation email. Then I told them I'd start again come Serum timber. They said ok. When I checked the following day to look at the amount I owed it was at $0. I assumed it would take another day or two to get my balance updated. When I went online today, the balance was a whopping $434+ as opposed to the $289 that I normally pay. When they knew I was returning, they NEVER mentioned an increase in the parking $ or that I had some remaining balance (because I DIDN'T) or anything of that sort to explain the almost double amount. And then I get this??!!! I did ask about another parking garage and maybe they thought I was parking there...but if they read my email, it was just a question. I didn't say I was parking at a different garage. Ugh, it's so frustrating because it's the weekend and I can't speak to anyone about this until Monday. It's unfortunate that this happened because they are quite friendly and nice when I speak to them on the phone and the people that manage the garages in person are nice too. I just wish they wouldn't make these types is mistakes. read more

I used Atlantic Transportation for my wedding in August 2016. Donna was my contact and she was quick to respond to emails, provide price quotes, and ensure everything was set for wedding day transportation. We hired a sedan, 24 passenger shuttle bus, and 32 passenger shuttle bus. All drivers were very friendly, professional, and on time. Their prices are very reasonable as well (believe me I did my research!). I definitely recommend this transportation company! read more

We have been using Atlantic Group for shuttle services Sunday mornings from Union Station DC to our church in the Atlas District. This company has provided amazing service so far. Their manager Janice has contacted us multiple times to make sure the service is going well. The driver who is assigned to our shift (Chris) has always been on time and courteous. They arrive early and are very flexible when we've had to make schedule changes. They really go above and beyond to provide good service. We were using another shuttle company before and their drivers were always late or wouldn't show up. We are so happy that we found this company! read more

Luke's Wings raises funds to reunite wounded service members with their loved ones during the recovery process. They were so supportive of our mission and helped make our annual walk perfect! We thought this was a nice spot to park in to do a little sightseeing in DC. We were wrong. I have never been to a parking garage in the country that closes at 1800 on a Saturday. We had to walk through the road where cars drive through to get in which made it a bit dangerous. When we drove to leave, there was an attendant in the booth who was condescending to us. We basically had to plead to get out despite us seeing several other cars leave. This place needs to wake up and become self service and/or stay open around the clock like every other parking garage. Do not consider this place. We won't be back. read more

Attended a function at the Building Museum in Chinatown where Atlantic was the valet. When I picked up my car and got home I noticed someone had gone through it and stolen items. I contacted ASG, who said they take these things very seriously. I provided them with the information they asked for (make, model, color of car) but they said they were unable to identify who drove the car or who may have taken the items. They provided a claim form, which I threw in the trash as I will never see my items again. I will be sure to not use Atlantic's valet service ever again. I will also be sure to clean the car out completely of any items before using any valet service in the future. read more

I usually don't notice valet but these guys really stood out. My wife and I attended an event at the Smithsonian last week and Atlantic did the valet. It was raining when we pulled up and they had umbrellas ready. They even walked my wife and I to the main doors. The lead manager, I think his name was Orlando was very polite and on top of things even as he was inundated with cars. I don't know where they parked the cars around there, but we got our vehicle in no time at all. Definitely a well run operation. read more

I attended a wedding in D.C. over the weekend. The family hired Atlantic Services Group for valet parking. I parked my car with the group and went into the wedding. When the wedding was over I got my car and realized that my itouch had been stolen. I filed a complaint with the company immediately upon noticing the absence of my itouch. After several days of requesting answers and follow-ups concerning my itouch I was denied reimbursement for my stolen property. Do not use this company, my personal possessions were taken and they showed little or no remorse for what had happened. I have contacted my catering friends and informed then to steer clear of this company. read more

I had a poor experience with an ASG Rep over the phone. I called to inquire about monthly parking at my work location (there is an above-surface Atlantic lot across the street from my office). The rep I spoke with couldn't have seemed more disinterested in helping me. She directed me to the ASG website (which I had already visited) and instructed me to search for a parking lot close to my office there (which I had already done). I explained to her that there were three parking lots displayed on the map that were close to my office, but none of them were where I wanted to park (there was no marker in the lot where I was trying to park). I gave her the specific street that the lot if off of, and she was still unable to help me. When I asked a co-worker, who parks in the Atlantic parking lot, he helped me look at the website and he was also unable to figure it out. Frustrated by the ambiguity on the website and the lack of customer support I received when on the call, I will NOT be switching from my current parking situation (I was going to pay more to park in the Atlantic lot for convenience, but I will happily continue to walk the extra block from my current spot). read more
