Midtown Dental has the friendliest staff from the time you walk in to the moment you walk out. Cindy at check in/ check out, is always smiling and helpful with explaining the billing. Alyson, my hygienist is super friendly and has super skills. Dr. Durtschi is an expert. I am so thankful for this office. Going to the dentist is not how I like to start or end my day, however, I don't stress myself out going to this office. Again, so thankful for them! read more

very happy with the care i received at midtown dental. The tech was excellent and very gentle. Dentist can be scary but they do a great job. They don't try to push any extras, which is appreciated. Competence! I have seen both the dentist and the optometrist. In both cases the staff and doctors were knowledgeable and very friendly. Going to the dentist can produce anxiety, but not here where everybody is welcoming and I feel like I am in expert hands. My dental tech was cheerful, friendly, careful, and attentive to details. The dentist is upbeat, detail oriented, and kind. At the optometrist I got a very thorough exam, a referral for additional treatment for my eye condition that I didn't know was available, and frames that I've had many, many positive comments on. I have already referred family and friends to both these practices because I have been so pleased. read more

So I moved here from Oklahoma and came across midtown dental and vision. I have recommended them to all my coworkers. My teeth looked and felt SO CLEAN. I'm talking spotless after my appointment and don't even get my started on the PERFECT care I received at midtown vision. All 3 ladies helped me pick the best frames, were very honest, made sure I loved them before leaving and really are just very personable people which I loved. 10/10! read more

STAY AWAY! Worst dentist office ever. Extremely rude "dentist". Horrible bedside manner. Went in for appt and waited about 20 min. Got X-rays as soon as I got to the exam room. Then about an hour goes by after X-rays. A different lady comes in. I was told by her that he would be 10 more min. Asked for the tv to be turned on and it wouldnt work so I had to download a free app for their tv to fix it. I noticed a little camera right above the tv. I thought that was odd. About 35min goes by and still no dentist. So I have now waited almost an hour and a half after X-rays. They didn't even start my cleaning. Finally I hear him talking to the person in the next room. He was in there maybe 5 min. He comes into my exam room and asks if I had any concerns. I started telling him about the "zingers" I have on the bottom left. He asked when like brushing my teeth? And I did no, it's only with the instruments and toothpicks and such. He says how about you let me do my job. I said wait, you just asked me if I had any issues and I'm telling you. I sat up in the chair and asked what's going on. He ripped off his gloves and says how about this, we will cancel this appt and won't charge you. I was shocked! Such bizarre treatment. Who does this! The lady in the back was like I don't know what's wrong. I was leaving and asked about the camera in the room. They said it's all recorded. So I asked for a copy of what just happened. She came back and said he told her it was not working. How insane?! Such a weird visit! Of course the camera isn't working. When leaving I started asking the ladies upfront if he was ok if he just got bad news or what. They laughed and just said you better leave now. I told the ladies upfront that they were nice while I was leaving. He came around the corner and started in on me about me telling him how to do his job while he stood out of site. I have no idea what his issue was. I said today this just cost you guy 3 new patients. The brown haired lady laughed. She said were doing just fine. I said well word of mouth works too I will let others know how he acted towards me. There were no other patients waiting in the waiting room when I was checking out. I can't imagine how they stay in business with this treatment of patients. I noticed when sitting in the parking lot that he stormed out and got into his silver Buick and raced off. He wasn't even in the office maybe 10min or less. Also, they want you to leave a credit card on file so they can charge you for missed appointments and cancelations. I will be the first to admit that I HATE the dentist!!! I feel like the over charge & let's be honest it's painful & it freaks you out. But today thanks to Ms. Carol at the front desk & the amazing hygienist Alissa who had the patience of an angel my mouth is now sparkling clean. I won't lie and say I'm walking away "loving" the dentist. But the experience i had was excellent. Not only did they do a great job with me but my daughter had her first dentist experience with them.
