The curriculum is great, the families are friendly and involved, the staff is wonderful. Our son doesn't have any problems with drop off in the morning since he loves it so much! Caitlin, the director is a bundle of joy and energy and always makes me feel happy and comfortable to bring up any concerns or questions. The teachers are so attentive, kind and professional. And the facility is so nice! There is a huge outdoor play area that they utilize daily (weather permitting). I wouldn't want my son anywhere else.

Since transitioning into the toddler classroom, my son's vocabulary and attention span have improved dramatically. He learns new words every day and is excited to go to school! There is a misconception that this daycare center is for Henry Ford hospital staff only, but I can confirm it is open to the general public. I highly recommend for anyone in the midtown and downtown Detroit areas. It's also a great option for anyone who commutes downtown for work - the center is just off the Lodge which makes for easy drop off and pick up for anyone commuting from Oakland county!

We moved our daughter to another daycare because it was closer to our new house the. We made the choice to take her Back to Montessori at Labelle where the teachers are keen on helping the kids have fun, improve their skills and be happy. Our daughter is demanding : she is active and sometimes stubborn and not easy to transition from one activity into another. Her teachers are professional and patient: they communicate very well with her and she listens to them. She loves most of her teachers (Mr. Charles, Miss Tessa, Mrs John, Miss Lindsay, etc) and we can see how they go out of their way to soothe kids and help them stay in tune with the rest of the group. The program offered provides a good structure for the kids: the reading circle, the STEM activities, the music class, the yoga class and the French class are some of the morning activities that our daughter enjoyed. Sometimes when we pick up our daughter in the afternoon during the playtime in the playground, we see that teachers supervise and guide the kids in a professional way. Antoinette, the director, chooses and trains the teachers in a way that keeps the ambiance very smooth and nice: we feel that as we see new teachers in our daughter s classroom and there is no change in the communication and the structure. We can only say good things about this daycare and we recommend it to all our friends who are relocating to Windsor. We cannot wait for our little daughter to join Montessori at Labelle as we are returning to Windsor in the few coming months.

Academically, they are thriving and consistently testing above state standards. When reading challenges came up for both of our boys at different times, the school addressed them quickly and intentionally. The intervention specialist partnered with us right away, created a plan, and within a VERY SHORT TIME both were testing above state average. That kind of care and follow-through matters. Even more than academics, in this school environment, their strengths are noticed and their hearts are nurtured. One of our sons loves to serve, and even a former teacher still invites him to help in her classroom before school starts. That relationship and investment speak volumes. The teachers truly care about each student and do a fantastic job nurturing both academic growth and character. The strong Christian foundation is evident in everything they do, creating a positive, values-driven environment for kids to learn and grow.
