Poor customer service. I took an instrument to them to be repaired, called them 6 weeks later and…read morethey did not know where my instrument was. Megan said they would call me back. I called them back later that day and the next day, the manager did not bother to get on the phone with me but was relaying messages to Megan on the phone. They assured me they would be calling me back. The next day. I received a text message letting me know it would be six more weeks and the manager would update me. I had yet to talk to a manager or receive an apology. I texted back that it was unacceptable since they already had it 6 weeks and they lost it. They said they would try to get it done as soon as possible. Two weeks later I was informed the manager would be picking up the instrument and would contact me. A week later Gabe contacted me and was very apologetic for the situation. This was the first apology that I had received. Gabe is the reason this review got one star. He went above and beyond to apologize, communicate and called me more than once. I did get the instrument back. However, when I went to go pick it up, Megan acted like she did not want to help me or recognize that I was in the store. I paid over $300 to have the instrument fixed and my daughter informed me not all the pads were replaced. Very disappointed in this music store and the customer service received. I will be using a different music store in the future

I found Rich via the interwebs and set up four half-hour lessons. Rich was patient and very helpful, making what was a really intimidating (for me) situation very easy. I liked the experience, and Rich, so much that I signed up for 12 more lessons. Rich has got me playing chords, picking, and able to work my way through some songs on my own, as well as be able to read tabs on my own. I plan on bringing my son back for lessons, too. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Rich went out of his way at the beginning to help us figure out the best instrument and set up to make this work for my son's little fingers. He even called the store where we purchased the ukulele and consulted with them on what adjustments to make for us and we were able to get it set up just right. As for the lessons, they have been wonderful. Rich works hard to keep my son engaged by switching between time playing music, reading music, and drawing out notes/measures/etc. on a white board. He is really tuned in to what works for us and has some great ideas to make learning fun. I definitely recommend the Roseville Guitar Room for all ages!

1 Star I am…read moreextremely disappointed with my experience with Tamraloo Studios. My daughter was accepted for piano and voice lessons, and after going through the entire process, the funding was approved. We were simply at the final stage of confirming the schedule. When I called to confirm the lesson days and times, I was put on hold and the call was disconnected. I called back several times but was unable to reach anyone. Shortly afterward, I received a message saying that the lesson time was no longer available and that I should remove the funding and find another studio. When I asked whether this was simply a scheduling issue, I was later told that, "after further review," they had decided that they could not accommodate my family and would not move forward with services. I asked for a specific reason in writing, but they refused to provide one. That is what concerns me the most. This was no longer about availability or scheduling. They made the decision to refuse services to my family, after we had already been accepted and the funding had been approved, yet they would not explain why. I cannot say for certain what motivated their decision, but the way this situation was handled left me feeling unwelcome and discriminated against. As someone whose English is not perfect, I was especially uncomfortable with how I was treated during this process. Families deserve clear communication, respect, and transparency--especially when they have spent significant time going through the process to secure services for their child. I would not recommend this studio based on my experience, and I hope other families, especially those who may have language barriers, are treated with more respect and professionalism.
