I called them back later that day and the next day, the manager did not bother to get on the phone with me but was relaying messages to Megan on the phone. They assured me they would be calling me back. The next day. I received a text message letting me know it would be six more weeks and the manager would update me. I had yet to talk to a manager or receive an apology. I texted back that it was unacceptable since they already had it 6 weeks and they lost it. They said they would try to get it done as soon as possible. Two weeks later I was informed the manager would be picking up the instrument and would contact me. A week later Gabe contacted me and was very apologetic for the situation. This was the first apology that I had received. Gabe is the reason this review got one star. He went above and beyond to apologize, communicate and called me more than once. I did get the instrument back. However, when I went to go pick it up, Megan acted like she did not want to help me or recognize that I was in the store. I paid over $300 to have the instrument fixed and my daughter informed me not all the pads were replaced. Very disappointed in this music store and the customer service received. I will be using a different music store in the future

I have been taking lessons with Chris since November 2015. I started having no clue how to read…read moresheet music and had previously short tempered teachers. However, when I saw Chris' video and the offer for a free first lesson I decided to go. Chris was patient, kind, and had a great attitude toward teaching. I quickly learned that he had taught people of all ages ranging from 3 to 85 years of age and that each learner had different styles in which they learned and expressed themselves musically. Chris showed me techniques to quickly learn the material and I took both individual and group lessons. The individual lessons were your typical one-on-one, but not with teaching scales. He just started off having me jump into the material. This paired with the group classes bolstered me forward. The group classes consist on average of 4 students at a time. Chris would open each session with an inspiring tidbit about how to enjoy the practicing of, playing, and appreciation of music. Then each student would be at their own keyboard and play their piece with headphones on. For most of the class he would go around to each student, plug into their keyboard and then give feedback on how to improve playing the piece. He would give techniques to slow down, focus on one area, etc. Then at the end of the class he would encourage each of us to play our piece, even if it was not perfected yet. he did this because he would instill the idea that music is fun, each performance is unique, and music should be shared and enjoyed with others. This constant playing allowed me to get over any anxieties I had about playing in front of others. I had the opportunity to play at a community retirement center 3 times over this course in a recital that just made me even more amped up about music. I can now play full sheet music by composers such as Bach and use the pedal. I couldnt have done it without Chris and I hope that others will find this review helpful and encourage them to follow their dreams of learning piano :)
