Her exact reply was "We are very backed up today and don't have time for questions". We left. We just bought plumbing parts from them a few weeks ago. After being treated the way we were today, we will NEVER step foot in that store again. We will drive two hours to Anchorage where they go out of their way to be helpful. Do yourselves a favor...go elsewhere for your parts and avoid being treated like sh*t like we were today.

Problem solved in a day (to get the part) and charged $250 (including the distributor module). Been going there ever since. I have a background in racing and have helped build a stock car from the frame up, but I'm getting too old for this DIY larger repairs. Everything this shop has done has been upfront and reasonable. I also told him my wife's auto start on her car had stopped working about a month before. We tried looking up what do do with it to fix it but had no luck. He hopped in her car, took about 3 minutes, pushed a few buttons, tried a couple different things, and BAM. Fixed it right there on the spot. Free of charge. I feel like they just took the filter off and didn't even drain all the oil out. It was a crappy job was just an oil change and then when I called them the response I got was so rude and just unexceptional and not to mention I mean my car was just about out of oil and so I took it in about 1 August and by September 18 my oil was extremely low and my service light was on. This year has been horrible for people waiting well past the deadline to even start trying to do their tire change overs. Ugh! I hadn't even considered Pitstop because I figured Aaron was up to his eyeballs in tires, and saw a post on the shop's facebook page saying as such. I took a chance anyway and commented wondering if they could squeeze an emergency brakes issue in. Aaron messaged me back personally saying to call in the morning and see what they could do. Of all the garages, Aaron's was the one that could get me in soonest. Everyone I spoke to and worked with were friendly, helpful, and honest with what I was looking at. In true Aaron fashion he cracked jokes while also trying to be as compassionate as possible as he gave me the bad-ish news that it wasn't brakepads - it was brakes. Oy. He gave me the quote which wasn't as terrible as I expected, and gave me the timeline of when it could be finished. He made his deadline and came under his quote. Car is back to running smoothly (and quietly) and all is well. Can't go wrong with these guys.
