I bought a rowhouse with a 1 car garage and gravel parking pad. The garage had quite a bit of deferred maintenance over the decade or so since it was built. The roof leaked. There was cracked plastic siding, some wood rot to the underlying plywood, and rotting exterior trim. The concrete garage floor was badly cracked and poorly repaired, allowing water in during the winter that would froze on the garage floor. Olive Branch did an excellent job removing and replacing the roof with upgraded architectural shingles. They replaced rotten plywood and trim, installed a vapor barrier, then re-sided the garage with upgraded Hardiplank siding. The concrete floor was demoed, removed and hauled off, then the garage floor and gravel parking pad were replaced with high-strength cement. A new french drain along the garage door keeps the rain out. The estimate was clear, accurate, and reasonable. The service was spot-on. Work crews showed up on time and didn't leave a mess. Tim oversaw all the work and ensured the job went as planned. He made sure all those minor hiccups that happen in every job were resolved to my satisfaction. I'm very pleased with the outcome and will definitely use Olive Branch again for my next exterior project.

We had a new mower lined up, and he was ready to do his first mowing on July 6. On July 3, I came home to find our lawn had been mowed by Cutting Edge again. I had to let my new mower know not to come that week. At this point, I have come to expect the lack of communication between the front office and the mowers, so I figured there was just a lag in the scheduling. Well, Cutting Edge came again on July 11, and I had to cancel my new mower again! I emailed Brian on July 13 to tell him that we were still getting mowings. He apologized and said that we would not have to pay for them. Now, Reader, you must know what I am going to say next. Yep! We received our July bill promptly in early August; I ignored it, of course. Well, it is now September 7, and sure enough we received yet another invoice with, I kid you not, a 10% late payment fee! I have emailed Brian to let him know and can't wait to hear back from him. I am relating these anecdotes to illustrate the utter lack of professionalism with which Cutting Edge conducts business. With all the great landscaping businesses out there, no one should have to put up with this.

We recently started with Ian's lawn service. Our lawn grows very fast, has a lot of places that…read moremust be weed-whacked (because the backyard slopes and has terraces), and requires a lot of edging for it to look nice. For what we felt was a reasonable price, Ian's Lawn Service came in, did an EXCELLENT job on the lawn (i.e. much better than I was able to do) and with the edging. Our first time coming home from work to see their work, we literally said "wow!" when we saw our lawn (not exaggerating). They also nicely packaged up all the clippings from the yard and placed them on the curb for pickup. I'm very happy with the service thus far and happy that I no longer have to spend an hour or two of my weekend mowing, edging, weed whacking, etc my back yard. (Which, even with the time/effort I spent, I would grade my results a "C" compared to Ian's Lawn Service's "A"). Communication was also painless and easy. I spoke with Ian via email and phone (when I had questions) and filled out an annual contract for the services that I wanted. Very professional and they are meeting/exceeding our expectations.
