So, I raced over Sunday morning and found the photo and then found myself browsing what turned out to be a great antique store for the first time. Get in there if you haven't been! They have everything from childhood photos of my brother to an English Springer Spaniel art serving tray, to two vintage novelty neckties (Christmas theme and New York City theme). Or at least that's what followed me home! Brother Ned, if you're reading this...just know that if your boyhood photo ends up in an antique store, you just might be an antique yourself!!

This store is not like any other, it's not overwhelming with selections. They have just the right amount of color choices and pieces. They have mugs hanging on the wall as soon as you walk in 2/$30. This was my favorite spot. They are all unique in their own way. Various colors, styles and sizes. This is also the home of the "This might be Bourbon" logo on their mugs. They have a nice little selection of Kentucky mugs. T-shirt's and also sale some hand carved wooden pieces from a gentleman out of Berea. If you're interested in making your own or learning they also offer classes. This is definitely a place we will return to for our home and gifts.

The owners Carvel and Ashley have been traveling around Kentucky to different festivals until now. They have an official store front. They have the greatest style and personality in their work. They have a signature color and flare to their pottery. It's more than just functional, it is art. This store is a tribute to their hard work and success. Here you can find anything from gift tags, Christmas ornaments, coffee mugs, bowls, plates, just to name a few. If you can mold it and skulpt it out of clay, you can find it here. They also sell logo wear and the growing popular beard oils and soaps. Impressive. Stop in and see what they have. They recently moved here from a location a few blocks away, which may explain the closed report. My first visit was really a pleasant surprise. This is a very clean, neatly organized and (as the name says) eclectic shop. Where else can you find really unique items, artwork, furniture, collectibles, and NO JUNK! They have antique books, magazines, glassware, unique art, and it's nicely displayed .... you'll have to visit more than once just to really see everything. Best shopping surprise I've had in Winchester!
