From my initial phone call to schedule the appointment, Dr. Izzy's assistant, Ms. Makayla, treated me with such kindness and professionalism. She made me feel welcome and clearly explained everything I needed to know. On the day of my appointment, I was impressed by how beautiful and clean the office was. Everyone made me feel at home. The assistants--Chantel, Maite, Adriana, and Giselle--were all friendly, attentive, and extremely professional. The office also uses the latest dental technology. Dr. Izzy was very thorough and took his time explaining every detail, answering all my questions, and addressing each of my concerns. I never felt rushed. It was truly an amazing experience, and I cannot imagine going to another dentist. This office is a perfect 10 out of 10! Thank you to everyone at FLOSS & CO. for the outstanding care. I purchased a "couple's session" for my teenage son and I and we were placed in separate rooms. My son had some discomfort and chose to not finish his full session and she had the nerve to be offended he wanted to stop the procedure and even said to me that "I put it in his head it would hurt" and that's why he stopped. So unprofessional! The building the clinic was in is run down and creepy, no security was present and the shared restrooms were filthy. I don't know about you, but most of my experiences at the dental office have been unpleasant. More often than not, I have felt like just another person that fills a chair with no real personal care or plan. Once I saw the great reviews for here- I booked an appointment. That was almost 4 years ago, and I haven't gone anywhere since! My very first appointment here was probably the best one I've ever had at a dentist. I had just came from a dental office where I went with a problem of bleeding gums and all I was told was that there was a mouthwash I would have to use to correct the problem.... Pretty much forever lol and then sent right out the door. It went the complete opposite here though. I first met Dr Diana Barzano and she got me right together......she was so sweet that she gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or issues with my mouth after she got done working on me; I had a lot of issues going on. Despite what I had going on she made me feel super safe and actually cared for. Everyone in the office is an absolute sweetheart and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Val is another one of my favorites. I started taking my young son there and he loves her too. Although he is only nine, she and everyone else is very hands-on with dealing with him, especially since he can be pretty nervous in the office. I am so glad that I found them and don't plan on going anywhere else.

I have very complicated TMJ jaw issues and I saw Dr. Hoffman because he came up online as someone…read morewho specializes in TMJ problems. After two visits, I would NOT recommend going here if you have complex jaw issues. My issue is that my discs are displaced and locked, not just that my muscles are sore bc of clenching and griding. Went I first saw Dr. Hoffman, he recommended botox in my masseters and temples. He also recommended a repositioning split. The bill that I was given at that appointment included both the botox and the fitting for the splint which was done at the follow up appointment two weeks later. This was well over $1k. At my follow up appointment, the fitting for the splint took only about 30 seconds which I found concerning. Then i got the price for the splint which was $4k. I did not feel comfortable paying this after a 30 second measurement, so I decided to get a second opinion before moving forward. He also told me that he has only treated this in 5% or less of his patients. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience here. I felt pressured into spending over $1000 on something that was totally unnecessary. I wish he would have been upfront and honest about his ability to treat my issue and recommended that I go somewhere that is more specialized in TMJ problems.

Finally got through and made the appointment text from 3 weeks from first phone call. Called the 2nd week to confirm, it took me all day to even get a person who could answer questions. Once again, I was asked to send referral so I did. Called back to confirm they recieved referral. Central office stated they weren't answering but leave a message, I did and once again, WAITED. Then to keep my "place" in line, the answering machine stated they will call me back. Fast forward 5 days later and still no contact or phone call. It is now a few days before appointment, I call and got the central office again. The young lady was kind enough to check If they had out referral on file and yes they did according to notes but she couldn't be 100% that the office I sent it to has it. But more or less they should she stated. We finally just went to the appointment hoping everything is in order. Now on the flip side, the office receptionist tech (Iris) was absolutley well trained in not only answering my questions but of being kind enough to explain. The situation of the office and how they are transitioning from closing one office and how they are now getting back on track. This really explains a lot and again, this is great communication and I appreciate her for that. The office is a bit antiquated on the outside so for circuses they get a 2, the inside is average office so nothing to scream about, so my last part of the review will be done in a bit, when I find out how the Dr actually did with my mom. A 1/2 later we are still waiting in this freezing cold room but the Dr finally arrives. She asked why my mom is here today? Quickly showing she didn't even see the file. My mom explained why she is there, the Dr checked her and within 3 minutes: "nothing to worry about sues fine, not canceroys". Seriously all of this and a deductible and three minutes later we are done. Totally not what I expected. Don't get me wrong, very glad things are okay but maybe a little bit more would of eased my mind. Not sure how I feel about recommending. No, probably I wouldn't bother, they ate not organized in the least so what's the point?
