His colleague showed me this notation on the computer screen. -He walks out of the room as you are asking questions trying to learn about your loved ones condition. -We had to beg him to use his stethoscope in his maximum 30 second visits to the patient where he did nothing. Maddelena (Maddie) Deneaufbourg -Aggressive and pushy, she is supposed to be there for a patients family to offer palliative care. Even her coworkers had to stop her from harassing my family. She preys on people when they are at their lowest. -She walks into the patients room unannounced and touches your loved one without permission -When you ask her to please leave you alone she does not.

I eventually had to specifically ask a staff member to clean the blood off my finger and my hand. Neglect of Pain Management: I was never brought any form of pain medication during the entire visit after asking for it. When asked about this, I was told that maybe it would be brought to me when I was discharged. Failure to Provide Basic Comfort: I was forced to ask for an ice pack to manage the swelling and pain, which was not proactively offered by the nursing or medical staff. I then had to ask for another ice pack after the first one was no longer cold. Absolutely horrible, horrible, horrible experience. Do not go here for any emergency services!

I'm thankful i didn't land in silver oaks, thorek, or even more dangerous places- Jackson Park, Garfield park or mount Sinai. This place was the ritz compared to those. Upon my admission to the room, I found it to surpass any previous hospital experience. Upon my admission to the room, it exceeded any previous hospital experience I've had. The technology here is far superior to that of other hospitals I've visited. They are so advanced compared to other hospitals I've visited. The equipment they use is far more advanced than what I've seen in other hospitals. I hope I don't get sick, but if I do, the hospital is definitely the place to go! My attending doctor, Dr. Kaiser, is truly exceptional. He listened attentively to all my concerns and made me feel comfortable during the visit. I've never felt more at ease discussing my health issues. He is one of the kindest doctors I've encountered. His communication style is very pleasant, which makes interactions with him enjoyable. He provided outstanding care throughout my entire journey, from diagnosis to recovery. Additionally, he ensured that I fully understood all my options before moving forward. His staff even followed up to check on my recovery--what amazing service!ervice! These nurses (Katie, Jaimini, Erika, and Niro) and the PCF staff (Connor, Jay, and Matt) who attended to me are among the reasons I highly recommend this hospital. They always wear a smile and consistently ask if I need anything. In some hospitals, unless you call for help, the staff may not come by to check on you. At times, it honestly felt like they only had one doctor working. What's even more frustrating is that you would expect better from a hospital, but the problem goes beyond just the healthcare itself. It's the way the entire facility is managed. Communication is poor, nobody seems to listen, and there is a complete lack of urgency or concern for the patients who are sitting there waiting for hours. People go to the ER because they need help -- not because they have nine hours to waste. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The hospital leadership needs to take a serious look at how this emergency department is being run.

She recently was hospitalized and is working on gaining her strength back in a rehab facility. Dr. Arlinda Elezi decided that she was only going to look at me and speak like my mom cannot speak for herself. She also felt the need to go over everything that my mom has to do over the next few months as far as follow up appointments go like we are both not aware of what she needs to do. When we expressed our frustration with the facility and how they are not providing the care that they advertised when we toured it and stated that they are understaffed and that the doctor on site comes in once a week and will talk to my mom for maybe two minutes. Her response was "I'm reading a report from the fourth, what's the doctors name" looking right at me implying that we are not around enough to know what kind of care my mom is receiving. Which is insulting since between myself and my two other siblings at least two of us have spent hours a day spending time with my mom. And the fact that Dr. Arlinda Elezi wanted to embarrass me by proving that I don't remember a doctors name is incredibly unprofessional.

They refuse to give me the 1 medication that gives me the will power to live. Then, a woman starts praying at my door. A complete violation of my privacy bc 1 of my afflictions is agoraphobia. Then, Amanda came. I ask her for a pillow. She wouldn't give one to me. I can't sleep on my arm as I was "staying overnight", they told me. She said, "why? Are U going to eat it?" So, I start screaming for a pillow. I dump out my ice & throw a plastic cup, that flew up in the air & falls to the floor in front of me, at her. She dodged out of the way like I'd hit her w/ a bullet. Everyone started screaming. They put me in restraints for it. I've been abused my entire life. These people hog tie me cutting circulation off of all 4 extremities. Then, slip me a Mickey if that equates to a team of 6 stabbing U in UR arm & top of the shoulder as hard as they possibly can. I have an extremely high tolerance. They left me tied up for hours. Considering the amount of PTSD that I have from things exactly like that & what I had went through w/ my husband the previous days? I, then, in the morning ask if I can go? Shattered; Broken. Assaulted. The first time I came here ? They dosed me w/ lithium that I'm highly allergic to & put me in a coma. I was literally scared out of my mind. FF to the next day when I take their $1200 trolley ride back 2 Linden Oaks from the ER. They strip search me. John, Isabel & Jamie are absolutely amazing & will help U w/ anything. John is the most selfless person I've met. He does the majority of work for who ever he is w/. All 3 genuinely care for ur mental & physical health. Isabel made me aware my A1C is at a 7.2, she works hard so that all are taken care of. Isabel & Jamie carry the team of nurses as the rest just sit there. When I asked Jamie about the A1C, she made sure I had a print out of my blood work. She taught me how to properly take my meds. Isabel made sure my blood sugar was checked promptly & none of the other nurses did that at all! Joseph & Alan also work, selflessly, & they aren't nurses. Samantha, the therapist, is a joke! James L. is a tall bald nurse w/ ironic facial hair & holier than thou attitude. James purposely says things to confuse U. He says contradicting things. Tells U that "you'll get UR meds in 20" when lunch time is scheduled in 20 minutes. He is so unhelpful!He can usually be found in a Pow Wow of about 4/6 people talking abt their "dating experiences" or telling stories w/ all of them. Even when UR standing right in front of him. Once? I approached him for scheduled meds & at the counter listening to his stories that have no end. He wrapped it up w/ talking about one of his friends that kept crapping himself saying, "in all of his "****-loving glory" & someone pointed to me. Otherwise? He'd have gone on w/ his co-workers, BSing. That's his favorite thing to do. So, he turns around & looks me directly in the eyes. Stands up & walks away. I ask his Pow Wow Group, "why he would do that?" John said, "It's just his personality". Another woman replied, "maybe he had to poop after telling that story", which turned out to be correct. Once? When I ask James, "When will I get my meds?" He replies, "U will get UR meds when I give them to U". He speaks in riddle & rhymes. He is definitely not a good nurse. The only time that I approached him was as a last resort. He hates me & didn't hide it. Once? When I said "or" instead of "&"? He used it to respond to me w/ a riddle. The things that he says & does R not ok while dealing w/ mental health. When U go to the psych ward, they always treat U like U R responsible for being unsure of UR life. They teach U coping skills & grounding techniques. They never explore the pain of the situation UR in might be anyone else's fault. Someone U can't escape? Someone UR bound to? They presume the worst & strip search U on the way in but not on the way out. These R Liabilities. NO FLU/COVID VACCINES!
