Here are a few tips for success that may help them in the future: 1. Don't tell the us that another customer left because of the amount of time you were spending with us. The store wasn't that busy and someone else could have helped us if it was your "up" and you were busy. 2. When the customer asks which other stores in the area are comparable don't state that nobody else is in the same category - it is transparently disingenuous. 3. Don't point out that your store is about to close when I begin asking about mechanics of purchasing, ie. incentives for accepting store financing, delivery timeline, etc. 4. You probably shouldn't ask the customers to restore displays to their original condition after checking how they operate. We went to Bassett the next day and ordered everything that we were discussing at EA. We also had such a great experience that we decided to pursue refurnishing the living room too. But the workmanship on the chair is not covered! They want to charge $160 labor plus $14/hr after that. Total BS. The couch we purchased - the back of the couch is coming loose as the fabric is thick and the staples are not long enough to hold the back panel in place. Again - the workmanship is not covered! The couch has a spot on the front and she came to our house and took care of it. The end table came in damaged and she reordered it. The second one came in with a crack. Again, she contacted the company and got another table. The third, fourth and fifth tables were also not perfect, but she didn't bother us with that information. When the sixth table came in and was perfect, she called us to say it was there. She definitely provides great service to her customers. She will have us as customers forever.
