Giant store but it feels like home shopping in a home Depot sized store. Generic and prices far higher than Michaels/HomeGoods/TJ Maxx/Big Lots and not better quality. I was least impressed with their art. This is where tacky homes are decorated. It needed to be said. Spent a lot of money there today...then came home and found the handsoap I had purchased had leaked....the bottle of soap had essentially EMPTIED into the bag....and everything in the bag with it was ruined. I drove back up to the store....and everything I had just purchased that was ruined was replaced. Easy-peasy. And the manager offered her apologies, which is always nice to hear, even if it wasn't her fault. It could have been a thing..."I know you were just here, and you purchased these things, and that you have your receipt, but you need to find everything you want and then we have to return your old items and then re-purchase your new items...."....30 minutes later. This is one of my favorite home decorators stores to visit, especially in the summer! They have a vast selection of outdoor items such as: planters (large, small, ceramic, plastic and many colors), patio furniture (some items sold individually and some in sets), trellises, lanterns, lawn ornaments (gnomes, frogs, fairies), citronella torches (many shapes, sizes and colors), patio umbrellas and much, much more! The outdoor area is my favorite, but they also have plenty of other home decor like lamps, bedding, rugs, tableware, bar stools throw pillows and dog beds. Another positive is the large selection of seasonal items for holidays like Halloween and Christmas. This is a huge store and it is generally pretty organized and easy to locate items. When I shop here I spend time just wandering the aisles because their is so much to see! At Home also does a great job of setting up mock display rooms with their merchandise throughout the store so you can get a nice visual of how some items look together or creative ideas. My only complaint is that it is difficult to locate staff if you need help with something or need them to get an item that is out of reach. There are several tall rolling ladders located throughout the store and at times are blocking the aisles, but very few staff walking around the store. Generally, if you need help with something, you need to walk to the front of the store and notify one of the cashiers. This can be pretty annoying if you are on the other end of the store. This is a minor annoyance, but doesn't stop me from shopping here. If you are looking for some home decor or outdoor items this is a fun place to shop! read more

I haven't been to a one of these stores in a very long time... As in over 5 years and back tnen it was still called Garden Ridge. Now, it's At Home. The great thing about this store is that you can find all sorts of knick knacks... Those you've been searching for and those you didn't even know you wanted! So, I'm currently in constant search for decorating items for the home and a colleague recommended I come here. They told me it's Garden Ridge and as far as I know, those stores no longer exist. After an online search, I found out they've renamed their stores. I don't remember them having so many decorations back then so I was so surprised when I came in to find paintings of varying sizes and prices, canvas prints, and many more! They have tables in various shapes, sizes, colors, makes, and prices! Also, a great selection of rugs for your home. Looking for outdoor wicker chairs to spend your relaxing outdoor summer days in? They have a good selection! Maybe some kitchenware? Say no more and walk through the aisles of kitchenware with your empty cart! Organizing your home? Do yourself a favor and get here. The prices I thought weren't bad. Nowhere will you be able to pick up a large canvas print for less than $50 or an actual oil painting for less than $100. Of course, they have better and higher priced variety but if you're wanting to decorate cheaply but now show it, this would be the place to go. Too bad I've bought quite a few things for my home before coming here. I would have really come home with a haul after every visit! My only complaint is, I wanted a painting that was way up and walked everywhere to find no one who could bring it down. Who do I have to know to get some help? I couldn't find any associate anywhere except at check out. I will be back for it though and I do hope they will still have it. read more

WOW! I have never been inside a Garden Ridge store before and OMG! They have everything you don't need, yet want really bad! Bar stools, fake flowers, flip flops, "As Seen on TV" merchandise, deck furniture and bulk food. It's like the mecca for useless crap! Came here to purchase a 10x10 pop up tent for all of the yelptastic summer festivals that are about to happen. They had a RED one (score!) for $80! Try picking that up at Target - it would cost twice the price! I could wander the aisles in Garden Ridge for hours, but had other things to do that day. I'll be back soon though! read more

Garden Ridge recently rebranded its stores in Saint Louis as at home. All of the items that Garden Ridge previously sold are all still available in a less chaotic and cleaner store. There are now multiple displays around the store that showcase their products in a simulated setting. Items seem to be much more thought out and placed better in the store, some sections even have an increased selection. The rebranding is a huge improvement visually, however the merchendise is still the pretty much the same with some additional selections. The staff seemed friendly and was quick to answer customers questions. Overall at home is a pleasantly enjoyable experience. read more

Woah?!? I mean, I am MORE than capable of being able to handle a home goods store but this store bleeeeew this kweeeen away! Exasperated I hurried up to a worker and inquired if they had just opened...Five years apparently?!? This store is like Home Goods, Christmas Tree Shops and Pier 1 on crack! Still disappointed they went away from crafts. Walking the massive store the other day, after years of not being inside was, surprising. I was in complete sticker shock. I guess they do not check out the competition- prices were very high for not great quality stuff. Fake flowers, outdoor furniture bananza, weird vases and scrub uniforms?! I hate to love this place but everything is so cheap here! I needed to decorate my bathroom and was looking for the perfect couch - found a vinyl one that matched perfectly for $130! I also needed wooden hangers for my closets 10 for $12. Decorative mirrors and wall paintings less than $70!! Yes, I know a majority of the stuff is made in China, but with the right vision you can easily make any room look like a million bucks! By the way, did I mention they have scrubs? If you look real carefully they have Cherokee brand - great for having as an inexpensive extra pair in your trunk (nurses, you know why I mean!). read more

Today I wanted to make a return and I had my receipt for a purchase I made last week of a few Christmas wreaths at 50% off. Today the wreaths were marked 75% off and I was told they would only refund an amount reflective of todays price not what I originally paid even though I had my receipt. Their argument is that this policy is stated on the receipt; however, they do not make it known when the prices will drop again so that I'm aware when that policy would take effect. This is very unfair!!! I have always loved shopping At Home but this has caused you to loose a customer! Hopefully others who have been burned by this policy will also make their dissatisfaction known too! read more

I have no idea what Garden Ridge is??? It's like a "craft store" but is more of a "bunch of random decorations store?" I have no clue but I DO KNOW that they have tons of great and random stuff. Is it terrible to find what you are looking for? Yes. Is it a massive warehouse with maybe 2 workers? Absolutely. But if you search hard enough you can find what you are looking for! Do you need a frame or mirror that is 10 feet long? Than this is your place! They have tons of furniture for inside and out, decorations, and just random cute and some not so cute stuff. If you are into digging and deals, than this place will catch your eye. It's a good stop for decorating or other random craft supplies. Random side note, they have the largest and most diverse selection of disposable plates I could find in STL! Annd one last thing. It's a good place to look for knick knacks and other small gifts. read more

With a name like garden ridge you would expect to find only garden stuff here, however you will be greatly surprised to see the slew of other assorted merchandise this company offers you. everything from fake flowers to furniture can be found at Garden Ridge and the quality of the merchandise is awesome. read more

I used to love this place, I went here the other day as my "go to" place to find all I needed for Christmas decor, and I walked out with some garland and an ornament. I felt their selection or at least Holiday Display could have been a LOT better and welcoming. Maybe its just this location but it felt very sterile and cold to me, not a good feeling when shopping for the holidays, or for the home in general. I was surprised how all the tree displays were high up on shelving. I would have liked to look at them better on the floor so I could have gotten a better sense of how one might look in my home. I ended up going to a store next door that had cheaper prices and a bigger selection of trees I could see easier. I didn't get a chance to look much past the holiday section, so I will have to come back and possibly edit my review at a later date. read more

"Like-ish" I made the trek out to GR in search of 12 matching 8 or 10 inch terra cotta pots. Of course, there was a lot to look at at GR and I ended up buying pots and more e.g. cushions, snacks, a rain gauge. And, I wasted a whole bunch of time checking out the inexpensive furniture, rugs, etc--things that I didn't need. I really need to set a timer on myself in these kind of mega-scale places. However, I left somewhat unfulfilled. For a ginormous store called Garden Ridge, I really should have been able to walk away with my choice of 12 matching pots. Unfortunately, I could only cobble together 8, so I guess I'll have to rethink my patio plans or make another drive out. hmmmm.... read more

Never shopped here when it was Garden Ridge. Always forgot about it but once we moved into our new house, we needed stuff and everyone said to visit... ...and now its one of our top spots to find great deals! On this particular visit, we were in need of area rugs. They do their best to have a sample of each rug hanging up somewhere in the store. Each rug has a number so if you decide to go with a particular one, you simply have to search for the number on the shelves. While this seems easy enough, if you get frustrated, don't try to find anyone to help you because it seems like no one works there. You have to go up to the checkout to get any attention from workers. However once you do get the help, they are super friendly in doing what they can to make sure the customer is happy. This location didn't have the size we needed so we tried calling another store. That store refused to answer and we took a leap of faith and went there to check it out. The rug(s) was perfect size and color and pricing won't break the bank. They sell everything you need to make sure it'll go in perfectly in the space you desire to have it. read more

I don't think anyone actually works here walked around the entire store looking for anyone who worked there to ask a question never found anyone. The only bonus here is they do have some cool stuff as long as you don't need any help getting it from its location to check out and to your car that is. read more

I like the store but they have a very bad return policy I spent $500 in store and I bought 2 pillows that shed really bad that still had tags on pillows and I forgot the receipt they would not even exchange them they was only $13 a piece I would not want to spend a lot of money here again read more

The management are least customer service I ever seen at store. They keep their ladders in aisles in areas adjacent to aisles where they keep inventories on the floors at end of it making it inaccessible. When you complain about it to the managers they belittle you & justify their safety violations & don't actually fix the safety problem. This place is oppressively huge! Walking in from the parking lot it stretched out before me, almost never ending. Walking in, I couldn't see the signs in the back, however there is a store map in front. Prices are average but clearance items are 50% off, and there is a lot of clearance. However, clearance is final sale! Make sure you like it before going for the deal! read more

Great little store! They have tons of little items to spruce up your home! The selection is good and the staff is kind.

Very big store, easy parking, very nice employees, near every shoppingcenter u can think of, and the stuff there is relatively cheap lol.

While I like the chain itself, but this store is woefully understaffed and those who are working at any given time appear uninterested in customer service. Will it be returning. Would rather drive further or spend more than deal with this rude employees. There's just no excuse for that. read more

This place is rediculous. I purchased an inexpensive ($80) canopy for my son's new home. It fell apart the first time we put it up. I had expectations that even an $80 canopy could withstand a few simple usages so I discarded the receipt, but proof from a bank print out that it was purchased just a few weeks prior. I put the canopy in my car and drove to the Fenton, MO location. Mike (Store Manager who refused to give his last name) was extemely rude and unhelpful. He said the outdoor products didn't hold up well, and the only advice he could give was to take it back and throw in the dumpster. He said there was no one in charge of Garden Ridge to contact--no phone number and no Customer Service. He said the General Manager, John Campissi could not help me because he was rarely at the store (according to Mike). I was not requesting a refund, but merely the opportunity to swap the broken canopy for one twice the price, as well as a second canopy of higher quality for my other son. I have never experienced such poor service in my life. The other worker at the store said the chances of return varied depending on who worked that day. Prices are cheap, but not worth the headache they cause. Big Lots and Walmart are right next door -- they accept returns; they accept exchanges, and they actually have a customer service. read more
