I needed a repair to a sentimental ring. The shank had broken and there was a second crack forming…read more This ring is 70 years old and was given to me 23 years ago. I wear it almost daily. The jewelers at Donna's offered to repair or replace. It was a substantial difference in price but knowing how the shank was compromised, I went for replacement. They suggested a thicker and slightly wider shank and sized it up a 1/4 size. I picked it up a week later and it looks fantastic. You cannot detect the repair and it was beautifully polished. I'm pleased to know this ring is secure for the next quarter century. I was also invited to return for free cleaning anytime.
