I recently inherited a number of coins. I did not know anything about the coin market so was apprehensive about getting "taken". I took my coins to 4 different places and my brother in law posted them online to get quotes too. Knowing that value estimates can vary, my husband brought the collection to five different coin dealers to try to find out the value of the collection. As you might imagine, the values varied wildly! I have been holding/storing a coin collection I inherited from my dad, for like 40+ years.
