What is the percentage of the profits that they keep?

Hi Lorri! Typically it is a 60/40 split, with 60% going to the property owner and 40% to the company to cover labor and expenses. Hope this helps! If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Thanks so much!… Read more

After going to multiple IPK Enterprise estate sales, I've finally learned my lesson and won't be…read morereturning. The sales are consistently unorganized, dirty, and poorly priced. Many items are priced as if they're brand new/current models, which already makes the experience frustrating. The final straw was at a recent sale where I picked up an item that was individually priced. When I went to check out, I was told the "pricer messed up" and that it actually had to be sold as part of a random "set" with several unrelated items that had no business being grouped together. What made it worse was seeing other pieces of this supposed "set" already sitting at checkout, meaning other customers had apparently been turned away from buying those individually priced items too , yet nothing had been corrected on the floor. It's not only frustrating for customers, but honestly feels like a disservice to the people hiring them to run these sales. After multiple bad experiences, I'm done wasting my time. I'm glad I came to look at all the bad reviews which only empowered my feelings even more to never go back.

I had found several kitchen items that had not even been bothered to be paired up with the right accessories. Things were just all over the place with prices that you could just get off the factory floor if you would want to get it brand new and not used. When I went to check out with a few things I found to purchase, the woman taking money had crab rangoon all over her fingers and in the corner of her mouth just eating away like that was not gross at all, yuk! I had wondered if she was going to even wipe her hands off before handling my debit card. When showing that I was going to pay with my debit card I was prompted that the person forgot "the swiper thingy" & could not even accept my payment. No sale and I walked away fucking disappointed as hell.

I would've been better off to donate the 2 trucks full of high end furniture to Goodwill, or sell my Ethan Allen, Herendon and Karastan items on FB Marketplace, or simply have a garage sale. She chose the first weekend of Riverfest for the sale (?!?). Why would you do that? I had $30 K in inventory and less than 25% sold. She didn't dust the furniture (which she was aware had been stored in the attic for over a year), which I expected would be done for a 40% cut. To add insult to injury, I had to ask twice for my measly final payment. Out of the 320 pictures posted, 25% (80...I counted) were of my items and the remaining 240 were pics of the items that belonged to the people I paid the $2000 fee. I ended up grossing $500 total after I paid her, the movers and the fee to use a home for 9 days. So if you're keeping track, everyone involved made a lot more money than me, the person who actually owned the $30 K of high end furniture. How f****d up is that? I wanted to have the sale at my home, but she insisted the $4000 spent on location and movers would be worth it. It wasn't. I told her flat out that I was upset. Her response? "Got it". Didn't even bother to ask why I was upset, because she already knows. She's got my money and there's nothing I can do about it, except write this review and hope somebody out there will pay heed and save themselves the pain and aggravation. Listen, there are many people who put on Estate Sales. I wish I would've chosen someone else. Anyone else. You should choose someone else. Anyone else. Unless you actually enjoy bad advice, poor attitude, or being mistreated and pilfered from. ***CAVEAT EMPTOR*** 0/10 0/10 0/10 0/10
