I've been to Berens Park a few times now and it's a great park. There's multiple baseball fields as…read morewell. There are a couple playgrounds, one of which is part of The Hub, an area that has the playground and batting cages, splash pad, and even a miniature golf area! I'd not be surprised if this park isn't the gem of the Elmhurst Park District. They have events here for families and adults. There's tons of parking. There's currently construction underway on a new park district on a new community center, so it will be great to see what takes place there. In the meantime I'm looking forward to checking out the playground and splash pad and maybe playing some mini golf.

There were only three other kids playing so we nearly had the whole playground to ourselves. The girls enjoyed climbing up the ropes, coming down the slides, and running around the playground on the rubbery ground. There was an ongoing basement game that my husband stood and watched for about 15 minutes until his girls summoned him to push them on the swings. There are picnic tables, basketballs courts, and volleyball courts as well.
