She was absolutely fantastic. Her staff is super friendly. There was little to no wait after check in before being called back. At the the first place I went to it was so darn painful it made me nervous about having that done again. At KCS&C restored my faith again. Dr Megan Newland is my Dr but I had a spot that needed attention so I saw Dr Austin so I could see someone asap. He did my biopsy SO well. I'm not nervous about having things done anymore. Now this was for the Shawnee Mission office on Long, which, since I couldn't get through to them on the phone I drove here and their office is vacant. Maybe they left because they don't bother to answer the phone and schedule any patients I don't know. Their other offices are not much better. I'm gonna look for a dermatology practice that can at least be bothered to answer their telephone.

I have extreme dislike of all things medical, so ordinarily I would rather do just about anything but go to the doctor. Every visit to Monarch has been very pleasant. Everyone with whom I have interacted there was very nice. Dr. Bene and Ann, his assistant for the procedure and who removed the sutures, are terrific. It is obvious they are very experienced and skillful, and it is easy to feel relaxed there. I have not really felt relaxed in any other doctor's office, to my recollection. And the results were everything I would have hoped. I'm very relieved they are there in case I get another bump or itch I can't deal with myself.
