The moment you walk in you'll be welcomed by adorable merchandise by a local seller- Thousand Skies- by her cute prints, stuffed plushies, and keychains. There's many more independent artists deeper within that were selling items from washi tapes, keychains, tote bags, and stickers. Super clean store with natural lighting that highlights the goods inside. During this time until July 9th, 2023, there's a special anime exhibit featuring original artwork based on SpyxFamily and Chainsawman!! I had to go, awesome exposure for local artists that love anime. There was an entire wall dedicated to their crafts from paintings, mugs, and more! In that room, there were other artists that delivered on Filipino culture with cute enamel pins and Kpop with BTS themed prints. Versatile room that highlighted so many fandoms and identities. Loved the experience so much that I couldn't go empty handed and bought two prints from the special anime exhibit! Definitely come visit! :)

It's just a few blocks, from what we saw and most of the stores and restaurants were closed on Sunday, but stumbling across Petite Galleria made it worthwhile. One of those nooks with barely more than a shadowbox-sized space, it reminded me of one - a tiny opening to a treasure trove of cuteness! Leeonnista was there to help show us items when we tried to point to the trinkets we were curious about and it was a bit comedic trying to direct her up and down, left and right - trying to communicate which particular item had caught our eyes, while dodging distractions. All the pieces were made by local artists and we ended up picking out two sketches and three pairs of earrings.

L O C A T I O N There are two locations for paid parking which was stated on the website. Paid garage located at 1278 S 10th Street Paid parking lot located at 350 E. Humboldt Street We opted for the closer parking. Luckily you can pay on mobile if you have reception. I luckily did out of the 4 of us that were there. Otherwise, you'd have to wait in line to pay at the kiosk. So budget some time to pay for waiting for the kiosk in case you don't have cell phone reception. Parking was $15 + fee. E V E N T It's a large park and if you show up as one of the first 100 people, you get a free tote bag with this year's design for the event. Unluckily even though we showed maybe half an hour after the opening, it was all gone. So make sure you go early if you want the freebie. The event itself is free and it's outdoors so you can bring your furry friend but they need to be leashed. There are large water filling stations and port o potties. Feel free to bring your water canteens. It said you couldn't bring outside drinks or food but we were able to bring in our own filled bottles as well as some Starbucks drinks. But of course worse case is that you have to bring back your stuff to your car. It's not a far walk but it's still a walk from the parking structure. They do have a nice map of the booths as well as events throughout the day. They also have a bunch of food stands and trucks there if you want to make it a day. We opted to just go outside for food as the lines were long and the day was hot. Although not as big as the Winterfest, this event was a nice outdoor one with various craft goods. I always am in awe with all these makers. They're all so talented! O V E R A L L If you're wanting to do some walking and perusing of crafts, it's not a bad way to spend a couple hours of your day. I'm unsure if there's any free parking around, but you could try searching. We just didn't do much research on it.

I was surprised to find they moved to a new location but judging by the photos online I trusted it would be just as great. Turns out it looks like a tornado ran through the store and they just threw whatever would stick to the wall. Random merchandise everywhere with no cohesive organization. I couldn't even anticipate where to find anything I was looking for. The most organized part of the store was the table that had their photo card folders. All of their shelves had albums haphazardly tossed in groups that you had to guess what you were looking at. They also had some that looked opened and damaged just sitting there. For an advertised Kpop store they barely had any. 60% of the store was random nicknacks, photocard organizers, "kawaii" items, and whatever they could think of to make the store look full. All of that could have been much more palatable of their customer service wasn't so awful. Went and greeted the staff with a bright "Hello" and got a very flat "hi" from a disinterested girl behind the counter. Two girls and neither of them made me feel like I was welcome there.
