    ***1 Star - Avoid This Company**…read more I would never use Rite Move again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. Before booking, we were asked a series of questions, including whether we had fewer than 25 boxes (we did) and how many rooms we were moving (one bedroom and one living room). Based on those answers, we were quoted **$680**, which we paid with the understanding that this was the agreed price for our move. After everything was finished, the owner, Joe, informed us that the total was actually **$1,000**, including **$170 in travel time**. We were then told that the $680 quote only covered three hours. That was never how the pricing was presented during the booking process. The questions focused on the size of the move, not on an hourly estimate. It felt like the terms changed after the move was already complete, leaving us with no real choice but to pay. To make matters worse, they **did not even move everything they were hired to move**. Several pieces of furniture, boxes, and other belongings were left behind, forcing me to find additional help to finish the move myself. After paying $1,000, I certainly did not expect to have to arrange another move for the remaining items. The moving crew was also disappointing. One mover worked incredibly hard from start to finish and deserves credit for his effort. Unfortunately, the other mover spent a significant amount of time sitting in the truck while his coworker handled most of the physical work. On top of that, he was rude and unprofessional throughout the move. The most upsetting part of the experience was how Joe treated my **80-year-old mother**. There was absolutely no excuse for speaking to her in such a rude and disrespectful manner. Customer service should never look like that. Between the unexpected price increase, questionable billing practices, leaving part of our move unfinished, poor professionalism from part of the crew, and the disrespect shown to my elderly mother, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I strongly recommend getting every detail in writing before hiring this company--or better yet, choosing a different mover altogether.

    I contacted four different moving companies to move us from our large two bedroom sixth floor…read moreapartment (elevator building) to our small two bedroom home. Meetunghouse's form for the request was by FAR the easiest to fill out. On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!

    I hired Meetinghouse to pack for me and move all the stuff. Mostly everything moved from one place…read moreto another, but the packers forgot to pack some things and the movers were stressed! The packers and movers were two different crews - one worked Thursday afternoon and the other Friday afternoon - which may have contributed to the problem, because the movers were definitely not pleased with the packers. It got to the point towards the end of day 2 where I just told folx to put stuff down because I felt guilty about how hard the move was on them. Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. Not sure how to get around this if you're a person without a car or just want everything moved in one trip, but I'm glad I moved most of the plants myself. Art was handled delicately though!

They were helpful and friendly upon booking and collecting my deposit. Their pricing was in line with other quotes I received so I felt they were legit. They told me they would call 2-3 days prior to the move to let me know the moving time. Never heard from them. I finally got a hold of them and was expecting them the following morning. Instead I get a text message the morning of the move " This is all my sons the dispatch dept, I had 2 crews call out sick and we will not be able to make it today..." No phone call from a customer service rep, no apologies - a text message?!! Again hard to get a hold of them but I finally spoke to the dispatcher who couldn't have been more rude, no apologies and basically told me my deposit did not secure anything. When we discussed the possibility of doing the move the next day his comment was he needed me to commit to be put on the schedule as if I changed the move date. The next day we got a text survey to click on the link on why you didn't move with All My Sons moving. Tried to call repeatedly to get back my $100 meaningless deposit of which I am sure I will never see. Makes me question if they are even a legit business or a scam.
