My team consisted of Alex, the owner, who honored their 5 % discount if booked 3 weeks before moving, and my movers, Eugene and Serge. Eugene contacted me the day before to confirm & ask some questions about my contents, and he kept me informed all along as to their arrival time. All went well but it took longer than expected with only 2 men. They were careful and followed my instructions re: delicate or previously damaged furniture. I asked if they would tell me when the heavy furniture was coming inside because I wanted to put padding on the legs to protect the wooden floors. This slowed them up but it helped me because I might have forgotten about doing that later. Also, I asked them to carry many boxes to the basement, and that I appreciated so much. I was very concerned about one piece, an antique rocker that had 2 breaks in one leg. Much to my surprise, Eugene placed a reinforced bandage on the leg and I am still using it until I take it to get repaired. While packing the month before, I had forgotten where I had hid some valuable jewelry. Well, low and behold, when my bedroom was already emptied, I saw my 2 stashes of gold and silver on the window sill. When I went to Eugene, I commented that I would never have known if they had kept it, and thanked him profusely. His response, "My parents taught me right, I guess." As far as Albo's rates and overall value go....You can't put a price on this kind of integrity and work ethic. The fact that I used them twice in 2 years speaks for itself. Packing for a move is one of the worst stresses in life. But having a moving company that is reliable and trustworthy will free up your mind to concentrate on other important things during your move.

I moved across the country (drove 33 hours) and schedule sunshine to show up at my new house and unload a 26foot Penske truck. I have my wife call (from a different number) and the scumbag answers. Now he starts communicating then he has no idea where his guys are and they aren't answering. He won't answer the phone anymore and hardly responds to texts. So here I am, with a truck full of stuff and 2 kids under 2 and I can't even put the crib together. If they were going to be late I can deal with that, stuff happens. They also failed to use cones or a traffic barricade to block off the street which would have prevented a massive line up of traffic. Instead of driving around the block to start over (and maybe put cones out to prevent people from driving up the block), they just flipped off the residents who were stuck in the traffic. Was contacted more than 3 hours ahead of my original appointment by the employees and told they could either come then (3 hours early) or reschedule; I had to reschedule because I was at work at that time. Flash forward to my rescheduled appointment, and they never showed up. Contacted the help-line 4 separate times to get an ETA (waiting at least 30mins between each call to be courteous) and ultimately waited more than an hour past my second appointment window. Called and spoke directly with the manager whom was supposed to contact the employees in the field. Manager had not contacted the employees and had no information on their expected arrival and suggested I reschedule once again. This was not possible because I had to be out of the apartment fully on that day, so myself and family ended up disposing of the items ourselves. The manager did offer a discount, and I do not hold them personally responsible, but overall very unsatisfactory service. I would not recommend you use college hunks of Levittown if you are reliant upon them arriving as scheduled for whatever services you need; it's possible (if not likely) they will leave you high and dry as they did with me. And yes, I know for certain this is the correct service location, as I confirmed it with the manager directly over the phone.
