The proper balance between mind and spirit is what I am seeking. The current psychiatrist that they are seeing did put them on medication. The side effects of these medicines are scary and I do not want them to be something they are on for years. Seeking new answers to current issues they are experiencing, I am hoping medication will be a second decision made. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. When I checked into their office the lobby area is very small but we are not going to sit here very long. Plus outside the office in the building that the suite is located in the lobby is huge with tables to sit at and a large tan couch if one seeks real comfort. After filling out the paperwork we were called back to the room where we would meet the doctor. The doctor who took care of us was very helpful and pleasant. Her assistant was charming as well. Feeling very comfortable the doctor and her assistant put us at ease as we discussed the twins business. The doctor informed me of what services that they offer and addressed my concerns about the medications that the twins were currently taking. They offer wonderful and caring psychiatrist here that if have too will medicate the patient, as needed per case. They evaluated the medicines they were taking. The doctor also took into consideration family history and if a diagnosis of the twins is necessary. All could not be accomplished in this visit so I will be returning for another visit, in the mean time the doctors suggestions will be applied to our lives.

I initially started to speak with Taylor who I believe is the admin for the therapists. At first I thought this place was in order because she followed up with me and asked what I was looking for through the process. Guess what, nothing was in order and it's so disappointing when you're trying to get help and have to go through a bad experience with experts that help people. This is not the case where all they were looking for is the next person to take money from. One of the worse things Allison did was, when we were done with our session she didn't even walk us out to the front door and said your time is up when would you like to schedule another day and time? All I have to say is WOW! At that, this session was for my daughter when we arrived she said, oh this session will start with myself and my wife, so my daughter had to wait at the front. What a joke! I have text messages from Taylor to bring my daughter. Even the online links she sent were out of wack. I should of researched more especially when you only have 3 reviews. Later to find out Allison is only an intern for the company, go figure. I promise, everyone please be careful and do your research. The owner Rebecca is not even here in Vegas and only does virtual sessions. I feel it's more personal when your trying to see a therapist or psychiatrist in person. Whoever the call center people are are clearly foreign. They mess things up every visit and are painful to deal with. Dr. Castillo does Telehealth only since he moved, so doing all of the scheduling directly with him is best. He is usually always late for appointments, which is less frustrating when the appointments are Telehealth and I'm not sitting in a waiting room. He often forgets which medications we have tried in the past, but is very easy to work with and will always present different options to choose from which I appreciate. Dealing with the practice is infuriating. I'm not sure what it is like to go in office at this point but back when I did go in to the office for appointments I wasn't impressed.

Navigating this new world we have found ourselves in has been intimidating and filled with emotions and lots of concern. The support of the office staff regarding all my questions has been such a big help. We also recently had our first appointment with Christopher Kagay. He has a lot of great reviews (which is why we chose him and the Mayes office) and he lived up to every single one of those reviews and then some. He was thorough, kind, patient, and had a very calming demeanor. He clearly cares about his patients and has a very positive and reassuring outlook. He also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience; presented in laymen's terms that makes it easy to understand. He took his time to go through the history of our daughter, asking me questions, her questions, etc. Again this being our first time navigating our way through this journey; just knowing that this doctor and this staff are with us every step of the way has been a life saving anchor in what feels like very stormy seas. APA was able to see me right away and Izabella was so empathetic that I felt comfortable opening up to her about my issues. She really listens to what you you say and don't say. It took less than four months to get me on the right combo of meds to get me stable. She was always on top of it. She made me feel like I had a partner in this. I am so grateful to her. The office also runs smooth and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Its so nice nice to know that you can have confidence in a staff that they will take care of your needs immediately. I truly appreciate how attentive Dr. Arceo is to my needs regarding medication for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Depression and Insomnia. I never feel rushed. He always takes the time to not only listen to me, but whenever there's a medication change he fully explains his reasoning for the change, how the medication works, and what type of outcome I should anticipate from trying this new medication. I've never had a psychiatrist explain everything so clearly to me. Thanks to Dr. Arceo, I now have a handle on my insomnia. My depression has subsided quite a bit. He also educated me on the anxiety medication I prefer and he's happy to continue prescribing me my preferred meds as long as they continue to help. Help from the receptionist and other office staff has also improved greatly. Phone calls are answered relatively quickly. I'm really glad I stayed with Dr. Arceo. Don't do it. I had a…read morevery frustrating experience with this office, both with the front desk and with Dr. Nguyen. The office manager was, at times, extremely rude over the phone.There were multiple scheduling errors, including one instance where she called me in a very abrasive tone insisting I was supposed to be in-office when my appointment was actually scheduled as telehealth. When I calmly explained this, she told me I was wrong. She later called back after realizing her mistake, but did not offer any apology for the way she spoke to me. On other visits, I could overhear her speaking harshly to other patients on the phone, which was honestly uncomfortable and unprofessional. As for Dr. Nguyen, appointments felt very rushed and impersonal. Visits were often only a few minutes long, and I didn't feel there was much effort to understand my symptoms or adjust my treatment thoughtfully. I was frequently interrupted or talked over, which made it difficult to fully explain what I was experiencing. The communication between the office and the pharmacy was a constant issue. I was left to deal with the pharmacy myself over and over again. On top of that, Nguyen threatened me when it came to my medication. I was repeatedly told I might not be prescribed my medication if I didn't pick it up "on time," even when delays were caused by pharmacy issues or my work schedule. At times my treatment was actually changed because of this, which completely threw things off for me. My final experience was the last straw. He called me nearly 30 minutes early for a telehealth visit while I was getting ready for work. When I said I'd call back at the SCHEDULED time, he told me telehealth would no longer be an option for me and I'd have to come into the office. When I explained that I live 30 minutes away and these visits are extremely short (less then 5 minutes), his response was "that's okay girl nice scenic drive for you" I switched doctors that same day after that and the difference is night and day. My current provider actually listens, communicates with the pharmacy properly, and treats me like a patient. Would not recommend this office.
