Took an hour and a half drive to come here after seeing Burgers, Brews and 'Que on TV and figured this location was closer might as well try it. HOLY S***!!! So worth it. SO SO worth it. We got the Brontosaurus rib and the Burnt Ends. I was drying to try the broccoli salad but the man is allergic to nuts! The rib was the greatest piece of bbq I've ever eaten. I am VERY picky about my bbq. I hate bbq sauce while my boyfriend puts it on EVERYTHING. We were both so happy with our choice here. I saw the burnt ends was in sauce so I said pass, the young man working the meat offered to cut me fresh burnt ends without sauce. This was at almost 9pm on a Saturday night. He said it with a smile. The people here genuinely seemed to love their jobs. It wasn't that fake 'oh great sure whatever the customer wants' crap. It was super weird because I'm from NY and we hate everything and everyone. That guy I wanna say his name was Carlos? Was just awesome. There fresh iced tea with mint in the bomb. My boyfriend bought the sauce and loves it. It goes on everything. Mighty Quinn's definitely holds it's own in the BBQ game, and is definitely a great addition to the area. The set up is what you would expect from your standard northeast/NYC BBQ place, order and then find a seat and enjoy we had brisket, pulled pork, the beans and fries, everything was great and in my opinion it's better than Dinosaur in Newark. The menu is basic and you can't order combination plates but if that's my only complaint than it was worth the trip! read more

I was so excited to try this place when I heard it had officially opened. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with the slaw which was so tasty and finger-licking good. The sides on the other hand were bit of a disappointment. I ordered the pomme frites (which took forever to be ready since they are fried on the spot) and the burnt end baked beans was good but a very small portion for what you pay for. In general this place is expensive for no wait service. Not sure if I'd give this place another try. read more

This place is soooo freakin good! I went along with some family and friends and everyone fell in love with Mighty Quinn's. I literally ordered one of everything to try and took the leftovers home to my hubby. My favorite items were the burnt ends and the vinegar slaw along with the beans and the sweet potato casserole. Hubby loved the brisket and the sides as well. I like that you can order down the line and either sit down to eat or take it to go. All of the meat was soft and tender and they bbq sauce was great. Went to the clifton location on a Tuesday night for dinner. Very casual, and waitstaff was friendly and very helpful, although when ordering it wasn't clear initially what sides were included and what were extra so I ended up getting an additional side for an additional cost. I got the bbq chicken platter, the sides we're ok, but the meat was disappointing. I've definitely had way better bbq, not a lot of flavor, I feel like I should have tried the pulled pork instead. The atmosphere is cool, it's setup like a beer garden, but personally that and the waitstaff are the only pros, food is nothing to brag about, I doubt I will go back read more

First time here. Not disappointed. The burnt ends are tasty and are served in house BBQ sauce but not so much that you lose the nice burnt flavor. Brisket has a nice smoke ring and was very tender. Portions look a little lite but they are deceiving as there is plenty to curb almost any appitite. Sides were also very good and the baked beans with burnt ends did not disappoint. Went for lunch with the office folks and we loved this place. I got the chicken wings which were pretty phenomenal. The other's ordered ribs, brisket, sausage mostly with a couple of orders of fries and sweet potato maple with pecans. It was a little expensive but totally worth it!. Most of their stuff is pretty good so order away whatever meat you feel like on the day but I would highly recommend to get the sweet potato casserole with maple and pecans. Ribs were good would not say great - chicken wings also same situation, nice but not great - the brisket was probably my favorite along with the amazing bread pudding which was really the highlight of the meal and the reason why I would go back. Came here tonight looking for a bbq place that was near by where I live. The restaurant is a cafeteria self serve restaurant. Very clean and well branded. The staff were super nice and very knowledgable of their meats and side dishes. The food was good / decent. The aroma when you first walk in is so tempting to try everything. My boyfriend got the pulled pork platter with coleslaw. He liked it and finished it. I tried it and it was very tasty. I got the brontosaurus short rib. I wanted to try what they are known for. This is huge!!! The smokey taste was their and the seasoning was a little light for my taste buds. It was a kind of oily and fatty, but the meat that was on there, pulled right off the bone and was pretty good. I got the picked beats and baked beans to go with it. The pickled beats were also good, but needs and little more taste. The baked beans were really good and I jus added some of their signature bbq sauce and it was really good. We also got an order of fries; which were good as well. I was kind of disappointed to learn that they didn't have a sampler to basically try a little bit of everything. I asked the man behind the counter and he said they are actually working on that. Hopefully that would roll out soon because that would be a plus! It's pretty reasonable priced and a lot of parking. Disappointing return trip to Clifton venue. A couple years ago we enjoyed some of the best NJ Q ever. Yesterday's visit could only highlight the superb fresh 'n hot frites, similar corn fritters, and excellent broccoli side. The meats, all of them other than the sausage were BARELY lukewarm. Brisket marginal smoke flavor, bark soggy, over cooked dry mealy texture and not hot. Pulled pork good smoke flavor pulled from a SS well of liquid (fat?) that was disappointingly cool. Ribs were tough to chew off the bone and plastic ware useless trying to cut the pork off the bones although nice color was lost on their cool temperature and very tough chew. Sausage was warmest of all meats, good flavor, good smoke, good moisture. Disappointed that website promised the special MQRib baby back sandwich was still available only to find that had been pulled off menu a week ago....so be it for online accuracy. Vinegar slaw lacked vinegar profile. Still too loud and noisy but that's a minor complaint compared to the inability to serve 3 of 4 meats hot. Way too long of a trip for great frites. Ambiance, decor: Modern, clean, communal tables Order at the counter, assembly line style. Each entree comes either naked or on a roll (we got our entrees naked but got a roll for our 2 year old to munch on, bread was very fresh) Our entrees were Brisket and Pulled Pork. Both were good. Brisket was a bit dry. The bbq sauce on the table was a good compliment. Pulled Pork was moist and delish. You get to choose between vinegar or mayo based cole slaw as a side. We both got mayo. I thought it was really good. I asked for a bit more and was told the portion was 2oz so that's all I got. I also got the picked cucumbers and onions- Both were fine. Portion size of the meat was decent. Not overly large but I think they could have upped the size of the sides to at least fill the plate to make it seems like you were getting a lot for your money. There was too much empty space on the plate for me to justify the cost. Sides were good. Baked beans were ok. Not what I had expected based on reviews. I really liked the Broccoli salad. I've had salads like that before and I enjoy the broc/bacon/cran/mayo combo. Sweet potatoes were sweet and definitely not hot enough. and the fries were run of the mill. Nothing special. We got 2 beers which were tasty. Overall I think it's a decent place. I'd go back for lunch after some shopping in the area or if I worked nearby I would go for lunch. I honestly would prefer waitress service and real plates and silverware. I would almost get it as take out just to reheat it all at home. I was disappointed it wasn't hot enough. The line moves a bit slowly, but the food here is amazing. Everything I've had here is excellent. The wings are spicy and delicious, the brisket is moist and phenominal and makes a great sandwich, and the ribs are fall off the bone and wonderful. Even the burnt end beans are delicious. Had the pulled pork sandwich with some cucumbers, onions and vinegar slaw. So satisfyingly good. Shared an order of fries and glad about it, because I was stuffed. The only thing I'd change about this place is hire an engineer or designer who understands how sound travels in a space. Right now even with not many people the place gets loud. I see this as an issue in a lot of places( Zin Burger, I'm talking to you), and wish people didn't just make a place look cool, but functional. The brisket was so delicious. It melted in my mouth. The brioche bun is a nice touch. I am not a big fan of pickles but theirs is good and I think it's because they are fresh and not preserved. The sweet potato casserole was just OK. I'm glad to have found a BBQ place closer to me. My boyfriend wasn't thrilled about the half chicken or the ketchup. The food is delicious, but on the pricey side. The brisket, pulled pork, and burnt ends are mouth-watering. I appreciate the owners changing their bread, as per the input of the customers. The original buns they were using were too dense, but the new ones are light and airy. And I like being able to have a beer with all that BBQ, but what this place is really lacking are some good side dishes. The pomme frites are whatever- nothing to write home about. My husband likes the baked beans, but that's about it. They need a mac and cheese option and maybe some corn. read more
