I appreciate the analog vibe and lack of digital appliances and televisions - it's a perfect place to retreat from our technology-saturated lives. I stayed here with my dog so I appreciate that El Nido is pet-friendly as well. Tieton is a wonderful, quiet farming town--not a place to visit if you need a lot of entertainment like bars, clubs, and theaters--but offers some great food, especially Don Mateo and Santos Bakery, and a small but lively arts scene on Fridays and Saturdays. There are some great hiking trails within a short 15-20 minute drive from town. This is a place I plan to return to as often to experience the peaceful vibe and the change of seasons on the sunnier side of the state. Thanks El Nido!

El…read moreNido is just at the edge (4 minute walk) from the center of the town of Tieton, a growing artist hub on the eastern slope of the Cascades off Rte 12 in the heart of apple land. Newly renovated, clean and fully equipped with kitchen and bath stuff. No TV but good WiFi. The Hosts (Anne and Nick) were super friendly and helpful making sure that we had firewood for the fire pit, setting up a propane heater for an additional warm outside spot. The cabins are close to several nice hikes and a couple of decent restaurants in town. I'd stay here again in a flash.

Just wrapped up a project with Rumble Interiors and are so pleased with the process and the…read moreresults. The project was redoing our 15 year old son's bedroom. Taking it from a child's room to a young adult's room where our son can relax and sink into his passion for music. Stephanie is amazing to work with. The process spanned two weekends. The first weekend she met with us to understand why we were wanting to redesign and what we hoped for in the new space. She viewed and measured the space and spent time with us to learn what was important. My son is very shy and she was patient and kind and really helped to open him up and participate in the process. She inspired him to let go of things/stuff and to focus on what is most important to keep. Stephanie quickly put together proposals for new design elements to bring into the room, things that were functional and highlighted his love for music and the Beatles. The new design Incorporated new purchases, but also leveraged pieces from around the house that we had on hand. The second weekend Stephanie came over to put it all together. All new items she arranged were delivered to our house during the week and ready to go. My husband and I partnered with Stephanie to arrange the room together and surprise our son with the reveal. Things came together very quickly and we are so so happy with the results. His room is now my favorite room in the house. It's now an amazing music inspired space with enough seating for people to hang out, visit and play guitar and very easy to keep organized and clean. Favorite element are these very cool guitar pick wall mounts for his guitars. The guitars become decoration and they make it so easy to keep them picked up and off the floor and they take up less space. We highly recommend Stephanie as a very thoughtful and encouraging designer who made things beautiful and easy for us. She worked so hard as though this was her own home. Thank you!!!
