Laurie the owner is very sweet, funny and knowledgeable on the wines and spirits they produce. We had 2 flights of wines. My wife had the "Estate Reds" her favorite was the 2016 Estate Melange Noir. I am more of the HEAVY red wine type... However, I also picked the 2016 Estate Melange Noir as my favorite on my tasting. The grounds are expansive with some tables in the shade and some in the sun. A few walking trails on overlooks on property as well.If you're an RV'er they are a member of Harvest Hosts too!

    Wine and a view!

What a great winery! We got this recommended to while we were hiking on the Tieton river. Such a great stop! The wine is good and the food is awesome. We had the chicken pot pie. We will definitely come back.

In biblical times, wine was referenced as a way to treat illness, celebrate occasions and generally make merriment. Based on our experiences, I believe they may have been referencing this winery! We've been out to this lovely spot a couple times, most recently for a dinner with the increasingly famous BITE CLUB! The place is a converted house down a sunny dirt road, deep in wine country! Plenty of parking outside and indoor/outdoor areas to gather. Inside are two large rooms for sampling, mingling and chillaxing. They house two wineries here - Wilridge and Naches Heights Vineyard. Both use grapes from the grounds and have some great options, including plenty of varieties you may not have tried - The Nebbiolo is our recent favorite. They also serve small plates here, including $1 otter pops! The outside seating is plentiful and there's lots of room for the kiddos to run around. In the summer, they've got live music a couple days per week and have food trucks serving those evenings. We recently discovered a fun little trail up a rocky hill out back. Our 3 and 5 year olds had a marvelous time "creature hunting" which meant we talked about how small creatures may have made homes in between rocks and in holes. It was totally cute and totally fun! It was also totally cold hiking up in February! The wine club gets you 20% off and only requires the purchase of 8 bottles per year - You can totally drink 2/3 of a bottle every month! Plus, tasting are free including on special weekends like "Wine and chocolate" around Valentine's Day! Well worth your time to check out!

Bring your own snacks. Cant beat the location, pretty disappointed with the staff. We came on a Sunday which was relatively busy. There were only 2 employees working. One knew what she was doing and was making the tasting experience great for the guests, our girl unfortunately didnt have a clue. She didnt know what was in stock, she didnt know what wines paired with anything and when we asked for a cheese plate she said she couldnt sell us one because they were too busy and there were only 2 employees working. Some people in our group ran and grabbed some fruit, cheese and crackers. I would reccomend just stoppingnfirst. There is also a great hiking trail connected so if you want to work up a sweat before you partake you can earn your glass.

Covid friendly outdoor seating with heat lamps over the tables along the porch. Pricy wine tasting with plastic cups. They also have snacks like cheese plate and $6 nuts. Lovely place for a sunset view and Vineyard with a walking path along the vines. Would return for the summer. Credit card machine was down so make sure to bring cash.

Sunrise from the orchard room. What a wonderful air bnb.

Hidden Gem!! We stayed here for one night over memorial day weekend and it was one of the best places we have stayed in Washington. Laurie the owner is so friendly. She recently transformed her winery into this charming air bnb so I dont think too many people know about it yet. The drive up to the winery is so picturesque with sweeping views of vineyards and the valleys. Once you get to the house it is surrounded by vineyards and an amazing view of the mountains. You have to share a bathroom but that didnt bother us. We stayed in the orchard view room which was a great size for two people and had an incredible sunrise/sunset view. We did the tasting for $7, great value! Plus they have free rhubarb bread which was delicious. You can take your tasting flight and sit in the picnic area. I can't say enough about this place, we caught ourselves saying "we could live out here."

Really lovely spot. We stumbled upon this tasting room on our way elsewhere but we really lucked out. The ambience was homey but lovely and the seating gave us some reprieve from the hot sun. The views were also amazing, we could see all across the valley and loved the chickens close by as well! They did a great job pairing wines in simple flights for easy decision making too.

If you are in Yakima, this place is a must see! Great wine, AMAZING views, and an incredibly friendly staff. You will not be disappointed!

I'm too tired from my hike to post anything worthwhile. But.... the 2014 Estate Mélange Blanc Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is excellent as is the 2013 Melange Noir. Vineyards beautiful, venues (music) very good as is all summer events

We came for a visit around lunchtime on Sunday, and were promptly seated with menus in a nicely shaded spot outdoors. You can truly spend a ton of time here just enjoying the view from the many shaded comfy seating areas outdoors, where you can admire the impeccable landscaping or the landscape itself. It did take a while for someone to come take our order, and we ended up having to wave someone down. If we weren't so hungry we probably wouldn't have been bothered by this at all, given that it's such a pleasant setting. After that, the pace of service was very good and we felt well attended to. We got the taste of treveri flight, a flatbread, a mezze platter, and the cajun fries. It seems based on my last review quite a few years ago that tastings were free then. That is not the case anymore, and most of the flights cost $20. If you buy two bottles of wine, then the tasting fee is waived I think for up to two tastings. Anyway, the flight was great, with a nice variety of sparkling wines that really showcased their range. Our favorites were the blanc to blanc and the syrah. The food was also pretty good, and I appreciated that they actually had substantial food here. I don't know how people manage to go wine tasting and then drive to their next spot without eating a real meal. My husband enjoyed the seasonal flatbread, which featured apples and walnuts. The cajun fries were solid. The chicken skewers and gyro type meat on the mezze platter were quite flavorful and juicy! I liked the variety of vegetables on the platter, although the olives could've definitely been better--they seemed like they'd been sitting in a jar for a while and had lost a lot of their texture. Keep in mind that prices for food here are definitely higher than you might see at a regular restaurant. The flatbread which was approximately the size of a six inch pizza, was $20, and the mezze platter was $35. Wouldn't pay those prices regularly, but since you can't bring in outside food, it's part of the experience here and I would say is worthwhile during a visit.

They bring the wine pre-poured in mini-carafe's (I'm sure there's a proper name for them), and include a "blind" pour that if you guess correctly, you win a prize (which I did not.) The outside area is spectacular, with trees for shade, the views for miles, and the feel of being somewhere special. Service was OK, they bring you pre-poured if you sit outside, and they may check back in on you if they aren't too busy. It seemed our server was on the new side, and she told us 4 times she had only been there a few days. Inside, I think it might be a more traditional experience, but can't confirm. There is also a good-sized seating area inside - and you're able to see the other vintage/varietals available for purchase. Wines by the glass are available, but not for everything, and only for bottles they have already opened. I wanted to try their Sangiovese, but they weren't pouring it, and bummer they didn't have one open to taste - I would have loved to try it. I recommend (based upon my palate) the Abbot's Table and the Sinister Hand (fun background story as well). I didn't care for the rose - it was sweeter than I prefer. Regardless, come visit and you're bound to find something to suit your taste. So why 4-stars? I just have high expectations of servers when I'm tasting wine, and I didn't get the feeling that ours knew the product well, so I didn't feel like I would get much education (which is part of why I, myself, enjoy wine tasting - to learn something new).

From the stunning views over the valley below, to the tasty cocktails, to the wonderful eats it was a great way to chillax on a lovely Saturday evening. Having had a not-great experience with wine (at a different venue) earlier in the day, we opted for cocktails here. My extra dirty martini with cheese-stuffed olives was phenomenal, and my friend enjoyed her old fashioned. We shared a roasted beet and burrata salad as an appy, then moved on to our main courses - I got the prime tenderloin and she got the cider glazed pork. We washed it all down with a couple of chocolate espresso martinis for dessert. My tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and accompanied by some sweet little roasted carrots and a lovely heap of mashed potatoes. My friend reported that her pork was more like a stew, and she really enjoyed it. What really put our experience here over the top was the absolutely amazing service we received, especially from our waiter, Trevor. He was friendly, funny, and helped us navigate the menu when we couldn't decide what to get. He also told us a little about the geological history of the area, which is built over an old coal mine.
