We made reservations early in the week, but it was a bit too late for this popular hotel. We had to…read morehave a different room each night...which was fine by us as long as we were able to stay there. The first night, we were in Suite B (2 queens). It was spacious and smelled clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a bit odd, that we had to push the bed away from the bathroom entrance to be able to close the bathroom door. The bathroom was quite large, but lacked a place to sit clothing or toiletry bags near the tub. There was also an odd racking system above the toilet that ran along the wall above the water heater which made it feel a little cramped. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and a dining room table and chairs in the room. We had access to the roadside and the back parking lot which was quite convenient. We were able to park our motorcycles in the back lot away from prying eyes and hands. The AC/heater unit worked great and was a steady fan noise that was calming at night. Overall, this room was simple, but quite comfortable. Our second night, we had the New Orleans room (1 king). It was large, smelled clean and had fluffy towels that smelled freshly laundered. It also had a balcony that overlooks Main Street which was super cool. It had a bar/counter area which as great for placing our belongings on. There was a mini fridge or microwave in the room, but I cannot remember which... The bathroom had a large Jacuzzi tub and shower in it. This was from another review, but was exactly spot on, so I am using it also..."The only downside is that the placement of the shower head and the proximity of the tub to the toilet, made it challenging to wash your hair (or otherwise lift your arms) without spraying water on the toilet paper." The tub and toilet were so close to each other that you kind of have to swing your legs in to position rather than walking into position. You may actually want to sit sideways on the toilet... There is no shower curtain and water was going everywhere, so while I was showering, my husband held a towel up to try and prevent getting water on everything (even though it is a tiled room) and then I did the same for him when he showered. The AC/heater unit worked great and was a steady fan noise that was calming at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this QUIET PEACEFUL hotel and we will stay there again to avoid staying in Yakima. The check out/in process was simple. The rooms were simple and clean. The owners are kind, helpful, and polite and their dog Tony is a lover!! If you are looking for the Hilton or even a Comfort Inn this is not your place. The Sticky Fingers bakery which they also own/run is FANTASTIC!! While in town, we enjoyed dining at Van's Tavern and Nier the Nook as well. They are all in the same block as the hotel and we had great experiences at each. If you are in the mood, there is also a taproom on the same road, but we did not make it there on our visit.

The food was a lone bar called vans (dated but friendly and decent food) and a lone hotel. The woman answered the bell and agreed to show me her rooms and told me the price. 86 bucks later we found ourselves in a dated but clean and nice smelling room. Comfortable beds with good quality bedding were a nice surprise and we were tired so we went to sleep. In the morning we made some hotel provided coffee (very good) and enjoyed it at a cafe style table with real coffee cups and cloth napkins silverware. The towels were fluffy and heavy and the complimentary soaps and shampoos were great. For the money the amenities here far surpassed any I have experienced in hotels at twice the price. Great little find we highly recommend it.

Parking is a bit of a hassle and we ended up paying the $10 for hotel, parking in a lot around the corner. It was worth it as we could walk to restaurants within blocks of the hotel. As for the room itself, it was moderately sized but we had room for all our gear without tripping over anything. The king sized bed was comfortable with 5 pillows provided (the norm seems to be 4 nowadays). The room was very quiet but the bathroom has a sliding barn door which unfortunately doesn't muffle bathroom noises which should be private. Decor is soothing warm neutrals with a small sofa and a desk chair provided for seating. There is a small frig but no microwave. Keurig is provided for in room coffee but I would recommend going down to the lobby where fresh brewed coffee seems to be provided. 22/7. We did not check out the rooftop garden due to the weather. Would've enjoyed a drink in the cozy bar adjacent to the lobby but it doesn't seem to be open yet. I would definitely stay here again should I have the need to overnight in Ellensburg.

So last week, on my way to Seattle I decided to stay the night in beautiful Ellensburg, WA (home to Central Washington University). Since it was just for a couple nights, I decided to get something downtown so I could walk around. I found Hotel Windrow online, booked the room and what a fantastic surprise. This boutique hotel is indeed RIGHT downtown. It's stylish, easy to find, obviously in a great location, and the property includes a hip little lobby bar a space called 'Top of the Berg' which is a rooftop area with fire pits, etc. very cosmopolitan. The rooms were lovely, very homey with a small couch, desk, large bathroom and comfortable bed. I walked two blocks to a fantastic Italian meal (more about that in another review) and overall, had a truly fantastic and easy night. A couple amenities to highlight include ample parking and electric charging spaces for electric cars or hybrids. I love finds like this, and plan on making at least one night stay over a regular occurrence now if I'm traveling on I-90. Recommended.

It was an honor to be part of this historic landmark hotel which was established circa 1912. There are 9 rooms in which 5 rooms have their own private bathroom. The other 4 shared two bathroom. Each rooms are named after favorite local hiking trail. Each room are also decorated with combinations of William Morris wallpapers with dark and light hues. If you see it in person, it seems like you're time traveled from the first time it was established. They were also able to preserved some of the original wood and decorations inside this historic hotel. Alyssa one of the staffs is the most kindest and warmest person who always greeted us. Her and other staffs worked so hard together to keep the place going and cozy as much as possible. There's also a fire place that's available to use during winter. Also a complimentary coffee, tea and cider to help warm you after a chilly hike somewhere. Every where yo set your eyes in this place has a very special touch from people whose involved in this place. Glad we stayed here throughout our Juander Mt. Rainier. Best decision to book here! The creaky floor was one of the original thing here so t'was a fun bonus. Walk slowly fellow Juanderers.... Cons: Price is too steep and for the 10 days that we booked here we only got 10% discount and at the time they don't serve breakfast nor dinner. No microwave available for everyone to use, it would be nice if they put one and is available to use at any time. Would love to come back and hopefully they'll give a certain big discount next time. Mahalo for reading and happy juandering fellow yeeps!

It happens to be in downtown Cle Elum, and as in with walking distance to a few local bars and restaurants. From the moment we stepped in, we felt so much at home. The space was warm and charming with attention to detail on all levels. The room had an appealing modern atmosphere. The cozy bed with luxury sheets and pillows were amazing to sleep in. We loved having our coffee in the morning in the front room with the small kitchenette. We also enjoyed having access to a fridge where we could bring back a nice bottle of wine for a nightcap. When we went to check out, I have the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ellen and her adorable dog Lady. The lobby is quite elegant with treasure troves a beautiful treasures. I shared with her that we truly enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back!

I did see they were listed on Airbnb as well, but I booked directly through their website, we got the King studio for around $200 for the night. The morning of check-in I received an email for a contactless check-in, that was a nice touch! The hotel is in a great location and main street is just around the corner from it! We parked on the street, got into our room with the code they emailed us, and walked into town for dinner. The room is super cute! Nice modern touches all around. The walls are kinda thin, later in the night we heard ppl downstairs, it sounded like in the staircase, and it was pretty loud, but didn't last for long. The bed was comfy, they had dishes, mini fridge (no freezer in this room), and a convenient microwave. I did notice this hotel is listed on Redfin for sale ($4+ mill, I was just poking around Redfin and noticed the listing). Hopefully if they sell, the facilities will stay as nice! I asked the front desk and they have been open for almost 2 years they said. Looks brand spanking new still, especially compared to the historic buildings of Roslyn. Loved our stay here and would recommend to friends under current management! (which a friend did end up booking for a weekend because she saw my photos I posted on my IG hehe)
