Stay in the campground. Recommend the extra $5 to do the upper campground, upper has trees between neighbors. Lower has like a line of trees you could touch your neighbors through. The actual day water access wasn't shallow enough for motor boats, only kayaks. There was actually probably 50-60 people at that beach, but no rentals/food/etc.. just a peaceful mountain lake. Lots of toads!!! We went mid-September. BEAUTIFUL drive from Kent, WA into the mountains. The journey is half the experience!

It was a busy Friday afternoon in July, and while the shop was swamped with boats, Curt took the time to run the engine and check it over. While the specific issue we had encountered remained elusive, the boat ran perfectly the rest of our vacation up at Crescent Bar. The captain gave commentary throughout the trip which was hard to hear on the top deck - but it didn't matter since the views were spectacular! Family friendly with restrooms on board. The meal was good, too. Champagne was served right after we sat down. A water decanter was on the table for our use. First came a Caesar salad with creamy dressing and croutons and a dinner roll with butter. What seemed like a sirloin was tender and cooked perfectly. The chicken had an interesting tasty topping, but I never found out what it was. The asparagus was edible all the way to the end of the stem, perfect. Lastly, the mashed potatoes were like homemade. A delicious ice cream cake was served after dinner. It was a wonderful ride, and we would love to do it again.

We rented the party barge for 4 hours of fun on the Columbia River, departing from Crescent Bar (which was beautiful!) The party barge was spacious and provided (optional) shade (it was during the July record heatwave of 2021). We packed a lunch and had a great time. The boat was clean and easy to drive. Plenty of speed when needed. We pulled off at the sand bar and had lunch, which was a nice break. Rich & his wife were so helpful and had such a great attitude. They were patient and got us all outfitted with the right size life jackets. He probably wouldn't want me to share this, but as he was helping us tie up the boat at the dock at the end of our time, I think we kept him on his toes and he ended up in the river. He climbed back up on the dock with a big smile on his face. It made our day. He was such a happy guy. I totally recommend Columbia Jetskis. Thanks for everything, Rich!
