We couldn't decide what to order, and the owner was incredibly kind and let us try small samples of different dishes to help us choose. I ended up ordering the pernil (pork shoulder) with yellow rice and beans, and it was absolutely delicious, some of the best rice I've ever had! My spouse ordered the yellow rice with carne frita (fried pork chunks), and it was seasoned perfectly. The owner even brought me a small order of yucca and a piece of fried chicken on the house because I kept saying how good everything looked, I seriously wanted to try it all! If you're in Puerto Rico, it's definitely worth the drive. We're so happy we found this spot!
