If I could rate Miguel Wilson, his staff, and collection zero stars I would. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Not only will I not be back I don't suggest anyone to EVER EVER EVER get anything from this joke of a company. My brother ordered thirteen tuxedos from Miguel Wilson. All of the tuxedos were the wrong size and the cheapest bunch of CRAP (to put it mildly). Miguel, David, and the team were unresponsive to emails, questions, and concerns. An example of one of the emails sent to Miguel is listed below; "Yet again I'm requesting ANOTHER update on tuxedos that should have shipped on Wednesday. I have to say that your company single-handedly ruining the wedding experience for my brother and future sister-in-law. The lack of follow-up, follow-through, over-promising, under-delivering, and customer service has been absolutely abysmal, to put it mildly. At this point, I am not confident in any of the "services" you provide. If you are unable to provide the services needed I would be more than happy to contact Balani, Bobby Macc, or Guffey's for assistance." I strongly suggest you take your business to someone other than Miguel Wilson's "Collection". Save yourself the time and aggravation. read more

I was priveleged enough to be a groomsmen of my very good friend who is a doctor and married a doctor. He elected to support Black Owned Businesses for his wedding which led him to Miguel Wilson. This friend is a planner, he set everything up and orchestrated a groomsmen lounge roughly 6 months prior to his wedding so that we would receive our suits in time. While some individuals recieved their suits in time many weren't tailored properly and items were missing. One individual went twice for alterations only for them to continuously mess up, and offer to give it one more try and have it ready the day before he needed to fly out for wedding. He refused for obvious reasons. He took the suit to his personal tailor who had to reconstruct the ENTIRE suit. The measurements by Miguel Wilson were so off, the fabric around the arms were baggy and could not be fixed. My suit was poorly tailored as well and I did not have the opportunity to have it corrected by an outside tailor. We were all given the wrong shoes. I personally was given the shoes intended for the groom. Upon realizing this the day before the wedding we arranged for someone to stop by the day of the wedding. He rectified the mistake by providing us with cheaply made shoes. The shoes were so cheap that not only were they uncomfortable, the heel of my foot developed a laceration merely standing during the beautiful and brief wedding ceremony. The laceration made it difficult to walk and I was unable to dance at the wedding. My experience and the experince of the groomsmen does not appear to be isolated. While picking up my suit the father of the bride of another wedding was upset because the Miguel Wilson establishment order and altered the wrong suit, a white suit, which he wouldn't wear or order since he's walking the bride down the aisle. He also mentioned he ordered the same suit as the groomsmen and it was written on the same ticket, so he couldn't comprehend how an error of this magnifitude could be made. It appears that Miguel Wilson had a very nice wedding of his own recently, which makes the lack of attention detail and exectution all the more unacceptable. Use this establishment at your own risk, if you like living on the wild side. There are more than a few weddings in my circle that are on the horizon and we will not be using Miguel Wilson. I've attached a few picture of my heel that's was cut by the CHEAPLY made shoes. One a few days after the wedding and two photos, two weeks after the wedding.The wound is still healing and the latter photos show just how significant the cut was. It was quite painful and frankly I didn't know men's shoes can cut you. Take this review as you may. Be blessed. read more

BEWARE of this unprofessional and rude establishment! Miguel Wilson (MW) & David are a joke! The icing on the cake of it all is that my husband was referred to MW by his son, MW's supposed friend. You would think he would take care of his boy's father, WRONG! My husband and his 5 groomsmen (GM's) ordered suits for our May 5 wedding in March. My husband's suit came in whack, not fitting him properly because this man didn't measure him (he claims trying on suits is a more accurate way of fitting; again WRONG). We were told the GM's suits were ordered on March 20; lies. The guys got their suits one week before the wedding and that didn't even include the shoes that our son had to pick-up from the store in ATL and bring them to our destination wedding. Who knew if they would even fit! David claimed they sent all the suits 2 day priority yet it took 10 days to reach our guys on the West Coast & East Coast. Then one of our GM's gets a size 58 slacks when he clearly ordered a 38! His tailor had to work miracles because we could not count on MW to deliver the correct size since he had already dropped the ball several times. These people had me stressed out during what was to be a joyous time, planning my wedding. I almost started to break out in hives because they were so horrible to us. They did not like all the questioning from my husband and I as to where our GM's suits were so they got ugly. We were constantly getting the run around, David promising to call us back because he always had three clients in front of him every time I called and then they would not answer my calls anymore. MW would blame David and David would blame MW. Just a HOT MESS! To add insult to injury, my husband had to call MW to kindly inquire about the whereabouts of the GM's suits since we were a week away from our wedding and nothing had yet been received NOR did they provide any FedEx tracking to any of us. MW first started off saying he was with a client and then proceeded to tell off my husband saying he did not want to work with him or me, that we gave him a headache, that he doesn't usually give refunds but decided to give us a refund on my husband's suit because he didn't want to deal with us anymore. WOW, I could have sworn we were clients since 5 of our GM's bought suits, shoes and shirts, all of which were paid for and not received one week prior to our wedding. Then he goes on to send a text message to me and our son that all communications were to go through our son and not us because he initially wanted to cancel all our GM's suit orders two weeks prior to the wedding. If you had a positive experience with these people, good for you. Unfortunately, we did not, even though we were referred by our son, MW's long time friend. I would love to see MW on The Profit. Marcus Lemonis would rip him a new one! So let me just start off by saying that Rafael is amazing. I literally had to give him a hug as we left today with my fiancé's tux because his customer service and effort to make my fiancé feel like a million bucks on our big day just meant so much to me. We had a little hiccup when we came back after alterations because the pants and jacket weren't fitting correctly, but Rafael made sure to take care of us and ensured that we left completely happy with the final look for the wedding. I came to this business on a referral from a friend who used the Miguel Wilson collection for his wedding in April 2017. I was warned that the business wasn't as responsive as he would have liked and to be aware. I went ahead on and visited the store from out of town (North Carolina) in June just to talk with the owner and see if I would like to choose their services for my September wedding. After speaking with the owner he sold me on his services and even told me about their custom tuxedos for groomsmen. Never did I think I would receive the terrible customer service that I did. This was an extremely painful process dealing with the Miguel Wilson collection staff. On July 26, I received a voicemail saying my tuxedo was ready. I made it down to Atlanta on Aug 14th to pick up my attire. Only the jacket was ready! No pants, no shoes, and no shirt. After that visit Miguel told me he would mail the rest of my outfit to me. 3 weeks later he still had not mailed it to me. I drove back to Atlanta on Labor Day weekend in order to get the rest of my outfit. They were unprofessional and unorganized the entire time. You are NOT getting custom made suits. You will receive used tuxedos that even have stains and imperfections. My groomsmen submitted measurements and were given tuxedos that they could have gotten from mens wearhouse. I was stressed from June to September dealing with this business. I had 8 groomsmen and 2 ushers. Every single one of them had an issue. Unless you are a celebrity, you will not be receiving "A1 treatment". I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone, even people I don't like. read more

Where do I begin? I understand that people periodically say "I don't normally do this", however I actually never do this. For Miguel and his 7 star service, I am finally posting a review. Let me first state the facts. Miguel of course is a business owner which requires him to stay on the move, however he always made sure that I was able to reach someone from his company. He extended his cell phone for me to contact him personally, even via text when he was traveling out of the country. Thats always been a deal breaker for me in business, I have to be able to reach someone. Miguel went far and beyond to ensure every detail with my tuxedo that I requested was met. I would consider myself picky since I previously dabbled in the fashion industry. He not only did it for one tuxedo but for two of them! That took some patience. Then when the tuxedos arrived, they both were nothing short of excellent. I literally "WOWed" folks. Miguel has a passion for this business, he even called me afterwards to see if I was satisfied and to get some details. I read a review on another site which said "stay clear" because of bad customer service and I guess that shocked me. I'm not a celebrity and my experience was totally the opposite of their review. I expected what I paid for as always. My tuxedos were custom so they cost a little more. Not only did Miguel do my two tuxedos, he also did ten other tuxedos. Those tuxedos were not custom. So they fit the budget of those guys and were of industry standard quality. Great price was provided for the package of ten. Before the scheduled date, everyone had their tuxedo. Which with one of them there was an issue. The garment bag was obviously not checked thoroughly upon receiving. The bowtie was missing and we were an hour out from start time. I called Miguel and he sent a bowtie via an Uber driver which arrived just in time. If thats not a class act and doesn't seal the deal then I'm not sure what will for you.
