Food: my fiancé enjoyed his chile relleno, and I liked my green salad with chicken. Unfortunately, about a half hour after I ate, I ended up with diarrhea that continued into the middle of the next day. I had nothing else to eat since breakfast, and nothing to drink, but bottled water, so I'm sure the salad was the culprit. Service was friendly and slow. We didn't eat there, but the vibe was lacking d back. I would be willing to try this place again, and I would definitely not order a salad. read more

I highly recommend Miguels! The owner was very personable and accommodating for a party of 6 and we liked it so much we bought a t shirt! But onto the food and drinks, I think everyone at the table loved their food. It was all cooked to perfection and there was something for everyone. I, of course, had to try the famous chili rellenos that everyone has been harping about. And they were fabulous, I was so full by the end of the night! The margaritas were very strong but you don't get many as good as that! We went around 5:30PM which was the perfect time for a lively evening before it got too busy. We did a quick day trip over to Todos Santos and were looking for something not overly fancy. Miguel's kept coming up as a good option in different web searches, so we went for it. It was a little off the beaten path, which was nice. We went for lunch during the week, and there was only one other person there, which seemed a little strange. So we probably missed the fun vibe it may have at night. I did love all the surfboards that were gifted and hanging around. Someone actually dropped one off while we were there, so that was cool. I had a margarita and would agree with others that it was pretty strong. I ordered one of the combos that included a chile relleno. It was good, but being from Southern California, I have definitely had some others that were as good or better. My husband felt the same about his food. So while it was good, with having lots of options in Todos Santos, we would probably try other spots first. It's worth a try though if you want a casual meal. Maybe just check it out an a more lively time of day. read more

Actually, this place doesn't look like much from the outside. But I had heard about a New York Times writer that once ate here and later wrote about their wonderful seafood chiles rellenos. Seafood chiles rellenos was my first thought? I had never heard of this dish. But knowing that the food people at the New York times have very respectable opinions about food. Therefore, I had to give it a try. I was greeted by the owner on what looked like a very slow evening. He was nice and quickly asked me if I had ever heard about his famous chiles dish. I then let him know that it's because of that review that I was there to try his famous recipe. As I waited, I couldn't help but notice that the place quickly filled up. Well, how was the food? It was downright delicious as I ate every morsel on my plate. Then, I wondered to myself, how come this dish is not on more menus? I don't have an answer? All I can say, is that if I could, I would eat this dish at least once a week for the rest of my life! The filling was composed of sweetly fresh shrimp and scallops with a small amount of cheese that tasted like queso cotija which is like a Mexican style parmesian cheese. The exterior was bathed in a slightly acidic tomato sauce that together with the filling was amazingly perfect. I paired it up with a nice Sauvigon Blanc from Valle de Guadalupe which went perfectly with the dish. To put it simply, it doesn't get much better than this! read more

Known for their chile relleno! My hubby had the special stuffed with cheese, shrimp and scallops. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with red sauce and would go back just for that!! Miguel gave us some spicy salsa which was amazing! It's so good I could drink it. Reason for four stars - very watered down margaritas and tourist prices. read more

After being recommended this place, we eagerly arrived hoping to experience a good local dining experience. The food took an hour to arrive, with no word, apologies, or update from the waiter who seemed to be wandering around slowly and aimlessly as there was only one other table seated, a party of 3. It seems that they forgot about our order somewhere, as when we asked, they rushed over saying it was being plated. It arrived shortly after, cold, and thrown together with little care for presentation. I do not recommend this place. Long waits happen, it's part of the industry... Great place for lunch just as you enter town. Nice and cool with a real local feel. Waiter was awesome and suggested the chili rellenos which were unbelievable. You have to try the guacamole and chips. Miguel sat with us for a few minutes as we discussed the selection of the America's Cup soccer team. Highly recommend. read more

They are right about their Chile rellenos. They were very tasty. Very light batter and the peppers tasty fresh. The three salsas brought out were delicious as well. Pricing is more along the American side. Service was good but there was only one server for the whole restaurant. read more
