    Chili relleno combo
    Jen N.

We did a quick day trip over to Todos Santos and were looking for something not overly fancy. Miguel's kept coming up as a good option in different web searches, so we went for it. It was a little off the beaten path, which was nice. We went for lunch during the week, and there was only one other person there, which seemed a little strange. So we probably missed the fun vibe it may have at night. I did love all the surfboards that were gifted and hanging around. Someone actually dropped one off while we were there, so that was cool. I had a margarita and would agree with others that it was pretty strong. I ordered one of the combos that included a chile relleno. It was good, but being from Southern California, I have definitely had some others that were as good or better. My husband felt the same about his food. So while it was good, with having lots of options in Todos Santos, we would probably try other spots first. It's worth a try though if you want a casual meal. Maybe just check it out an a more lively time of day.

Really good food at a great price. Service was really great. The food tasted like it came homemade from someone's kitchen and not like it was prepared at a restaurant. Great tortilla chips on the appetizer plate.

Exquisita comida y excelente servicio.

Actually, this place doesn't look like much from the outside. But I had heard about a New York Times writer that once ate here and later wrote about their wonderful seafood chiles rellenos. Seafood chiles rellenos was my first thought? I had never heard of this dish. But knowing that the food people at the New York times have very respectable opinions about food. Therefore, I had to give it a try. I was greeted by the owner on what looked like a very slow evening. He was nice and quickly asked me if I had ever heard about his famous chiles dish. I then let him know that it's because of that review that I was there to try his famous recipe. As I waited, I couldn't help but notice that the place quickly filled up. Well, how was the food? It was downright delicious as I ate every morsel on my plate. Then, I wondered to myself, how come this dish is not on more menus? I don't have an answer? All I can say, is that if I could, I would eat this dish at least once a week for the rest of my life! The filling was composed of sweetly fresh shrimp and scallops with a small amount of cheese that tasted like queso cotija which is like a Mexican style parmesian cheese. The exterior was bathed in a slightly acidic tomato sauce that together with the filling was amazingly perfect. I paired it up with a nice Sauvigon Blanc from Valle de Guadalupe which went perfectly with the dish. To put it simply, it doesn't get much better than this!

    Ask for their spicy salsa!

Known for their chile relleno! My hubby had the special stuffed with cheese, shrimp and scallops. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with red sauce and would go back just for that!! Miguel gave us some spicy salsa which was amazing! It's so good I could drink it. Reason for four stars - very watered down margaritas and tourist prices.

Get the enchiladas verdes. Or a burrito! This is a cool local place to grab a good bite and watch the locals cruise by for a visit.

Ohhhh, this place I could drive from Colorado for! Shrimp tacos were excellent...then we read about the chili rellenos. We drove up to La Paz, spent the night, decided we much preferred Cabo, and wanted to time Todos Santos right for lunch. So we did & the rellenos were every bit as good as the New York Times reported. Perfection! And so is Miguel! We'll be back!

Unfrickingbelievably amazing! I'm American but I've lived in puerto Vallarta for 5 years and Cabo for one year- this is some of the most incredible Mexican food I have ever had. It is a MUST.

Chile relleno de camarón. This was the gluten free version. They recommended the normal way but it was still excellent.

Miguel's is amazing! You must eat and drink here if you are in Todos Santos. Chile relleno is FAMOUS! Cocteles are best I've ever had. Don't forget the Flan for desert! Enjoy!

Our food was exceptional! 10/10 highly recommend Santos Pecados. We ordered the following: chilaquiles omellet, huevos rancheros de la casa, chorizo scramble, and a bacon scramble. Servings were abundant, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and we all left feeling very satisfied. For folx visiting Dos Santos, I highly recommend Santos Pecados, their menu has plenty of options without being a massive menu, the service was lovely, and the prices are fair. 10/10 highly recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We began with the plantain appetizer stuffed with cheese and served over a rich mole sauce. It was out of this world. If I could change one thing, I'd make the plantains a little larger--they were a bit smaller than the size of my palm--but the flavor more than made up for it. That mole sauce was everything: rich, slightly sweet, complex, and the perfect complement to the cheese-filled plantains. I could have eaten a bowl of that sauce by itself. For our entrées, we had the chicken penne Alfredo and the ribs with raspberry barbecue sauce. The Alfredo was creamy, rich, perfectly seasoned, and served in a generous portion. The ribs were equally impressive--tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the unique raspberry barbecue sauce. My only complaint is that I wish there had been more ribs because they were that good. Great food, great flavors, and a memorable meal. If you're anywhere near Todos Santos or Playa Cerritos, I highly recommend making a stop at Santos Pecados.

The second time there was about a 10 minute wait which worked out great because I ended up discovering Baja's Awesome Beach Rides about a block away and booked a horseback ride on the beach for the following morning. The people there were very welcoming and service was excellent. The place was clean and orderly. Tables weren't too close to one another and the bathrooms were nice and clean which is a big plus in my book, I got a kick out of the large sign on the wall with funny phrases on it. It gave me a chuckle when I read, "Bill Gates never eats here" with the word never printed very, very small. And, "Two beer or not two beer" with the author noted as William Shakesbeer. I tried their coconut shrimp as well as some of their sushi rolls and it all was fresh and delicious. The second time we were there we brought some fish we had caught earlier in the day and they prepared it for us. Of course that wasn't the only thing we ordered but it was great to walk in with fish and let them prepare it for us. Timing was perfect on everything. From ordering drinks, to the main course, and dessert, everything was brought out just when expected. I was never having to search out a server. They seemed to be right there when I needed anything. Very attentive. For desert I ordered flan, which I prefer on the firm side. It was just as firm as I had hoped and had a hint more cinnamon than most which I really liked. We also had some of Pedro's homemade ice cream. It was a creamy and delicious treat. I give them 5 stars because they were friendly, attentive, served good food, had nice ambiance and, most important, were clean and organized. If I am blessed enough to return to Los Barriles I will visit La Casita again.
