When I first came by, they were struggling with some typical start up issues (untrained staff, broken AC, no systems in place) but they got their act together to be ready for customers in a couple weeks, so I went by again to try. Lots of Google reviews about a foul smell coming from the restaurant, that's completely gone now just in case you're wondering. Smells normal and AC works. The food is pretty good. Legit broth for the Miha special and the spicy beef hot pot. Really liked the fried tofu skins, sliced beef and fish cakes. Didn't try any boba. I make hot pot at home all the time and enjoy that more but it's really nice that this place is here now cause I don't always want to go through the effort of doing it at home. I really enjoyed this restaurant. My husband and I went for lunch. The first thing you notice is the decor is adorable and the place is very clean. The staff was very friendly when we walked in, our waiter was very friendly. Our waiter took his time explaining the menu and was very patient with all our questions. Food came out in a timely manner. Everything was fresh and very hot. The spicy beef hot pot was so good. The pot was huge, enough for 2 people. We also tried the avocado drink, I dont remember the name of the drink, but I will definitely order that again. Tried once and not coming back! It's overpriced for small hot pot servings and boba doesn't level up with their counterparts, horrible! Paid almost $100 for 4 hot pot with 4 boba and 1 appetizer takoyaki which is a disappointment too! Hot pot not good too!:( we requested not spicy and it all came very spicy! AC does not work, place still smells. Waiter kept walking away every time we tried to order or call her. Ordered the A3, it was missing corn, the pork meatball, the fish fillet, and the ingredients that were in there were basically scraps. I also ordered add ons and couldn't see any of them so I asked the waiter to take it back. Her response was it's in there. Yeah I found them but I paid $3 for half a fish ball. I'm really big on ramen and boba and left the place feeling so disappointed. The ceiling was leaking the air was just some fans hitting customers and the food we ordered did not look anything like the pictures and the boba was just sugar in a cup sadly. I think the chefs still don't have the flavors down because my friends ordered medium (mild) and couldn't touch their meals from how spicy they were so it wasn't enjoyable for them at all, one ramen bowl also tasted like pure spearmint. The Thai milk tea boba was extremely good, although I ordered it with boba, I got it without.. weird. The spicy beef hotpot LOOKS nothing like in the menu. Not even close to it. I swear, the picture on the menu has to be something that is taken from the internet. Do not bother getting the korean spicy ramen either, my best friend got it and to our surprise... it looked nothing like the menu either. I swear this place could be a lot better if they changed their ingredients.. the "beef" we both had in our hotpots looked like the scraps or remains, it was terrible. Oh! and not to mention, my best friend's ramen also had a HAIR in it. Now, I don't know who's in the kitchen making all of the food but please to be extremely safe... wear a hair net.
