I understand supply and demand, but I also understand predatory companies taking advantage of our military families. I don't typically do this, but I felt it was necessary. We received confirmation emails and our driver's personal cell phone number so we could send and receive texts from him. On my last trip, the "collector" (the guy standing out at the curb saying "you want cab?" "you want cab?" directed me to one of his vehicles. As I was approaching the vehicle, I reconfirmed, asking him if it was the same fare as the cab. Yes, Yes was his answer. I get to the hotel and the driver charges me 60 dollars - while the normal cab (and other personal vehicle rides) is 35-40. I had to get to work, so hopefully I may hear from them on the outrageous fare.
