Many realtors are helpful but you can tell they their advice is colored by their own interest in closing a deal quickly. On the other hand, Mie is AMAZING and I don't say that lightly. Mie was actually recommended to my fiancé and I by a family friend who herself has decades of experience in real estate, and boy were we glad we listened to her. Mie is incredibly knowledgeable, guided us through the whole process, and there wasn't a question she couldn't answer. Also, although looking at houses, figuring out mortgages, and allllll the paperwork that comes with making an offer/negotiations/closing on a house are not particularly enjoyable, Mie made it quite tolerable/even palatable with her own flair, jokes, and cheering us on which I really appreciate. More importantly, Mie is so genuine and treated us as if she was helping her own family members. One of the things she did which I am quite touched by is that she would accommodate my difficult work schedule, showing us so many homes on weekends/early mornings/late evenings/in between meetings, advocated for us, and answered any questions we had, even replying to late and urgent questions. She gave us insight on how to buy a good property for a good price, comforted us when we were disappointed we had to walk away from a property we really liked but was overpriced, and celebrated with us when we did close on an amazing property that we LOVE. The day we got our keys, she made sure to meet us (which was late due to our work schedules), hugged us, and wished us the best for our family in our new home with great enthusiasm. I knew we had made the right choice, but the look on her face was such genuine happiness for us confirmed it.
