Anyways I had a friend come visit me at my store the other day and yes I started to complain about the mall security and how someone stole my bike off my truck. She asked me about the claim I told her my car insurance would not pay for it she laughed and said my homeowners would cover it. I figured it couldn't hurt to try so I contacted Renee she was very helpful she got the claims office on the line as they took all the information (she also stayed on the line) the claims lady gave me a number told me the adjuster will be calling me. We've been trying to get our roof repaired for over a year now through State Farm, and the process…read morehas been nothing but delay after delay. Despite numerous phone calls and in-person visits to Chad Rutledge's South Jordan office, we have yet to receive a single call from him. After 25 years of paying premiums without filing a single claim, we expected better support when we finally needed help. Instead, we've been met with silence and a complete lack of accountability. Even after hiring a public adjuster, neither Chad nor State Farm has responded to us. We're now under contract to sell our home and will likely have to pay for the roof out of pocket--simply because we trusted the wrong insurance company and the wrong agent. If you're considering working with Chad Rutledge, I strongly recommend visiting his office a few times first (which is only open from 10-4, may I add!) you'll see he's never there. The workers in the same building told me they had seen him come in twice in the five years they had been renting office space next to him! He's likely staying out of site because surely I'm not the only one trying to get in touch with him. You might also take a drive through some more established neighborhoods and look at the homes with visible roof damage. Chances are, they're insured by State Farm. Please think twice before choosing State Farm or Chad Rutledge. You're better off burning your money!
