But even more important than saving us money, when we've had a problem, American Family has done an amazing job at handling it. From a busted back window to a fender bender to a tree that blew down in our backyard tearing up our fence and porch, we have had nothing but good experiences. I hear so many people who go to some other companies and pay large premiums and then the company abandons them in their time of need. Saving money is one thing. Having the people you're paying be there when you need them is where the rubber meets the road. I highly endorse this company.

Paul Watzlavik is the worst agent I've had in 40 years of being a State Farm customer. His office…read moreis dropping 4 of our 5 car policies for a claim from Halo car wash tearing our bumper off? We were 100% not at fault. I can't believe how Paul's office has treated us. They truly do not care about their customers. For over 40 years all my other agents were helpful and looked out for our family and our well being. Paul and his group are like "sorry we just don't care to have you as a customer even though you've given us 100K+ over the last 40 years and have very few claims and are blaming us for an accident that wasn't our fault." Paul's office is dishonest and should not be trusted. They don't care about helping their customers when they are in need of support.

So last week 12/7/21 I got a new auto insurance policy, And I contacted my agent to cancel my…read morepolicy and cancel my payment. Fast forward to 12/13/21 my agent did not cancel my policy did not stop auto payment, payment was taken out of my bank account & I am now -137$ to my account an have over draft fees on top of that! The company is Bristol West, agent was Chris Kelly out of Newburg IN. I contacted Mr Kelly a week ago today on 12/8/21 I attached the email sent to to him as well. To cancel my current policy effective 12/7/21 an to stop all payment. Well my policy an payments were never cancelled. The payment was removed from my bank account placing me over a 100$ negative in my account an occurring over draft fees. The agent has not returned any of my phone calls. He had 5 days to cancel my policy. I have since reached out to Bristol West an they are making me jump through hoops to get my policy cancelled. They told me I had to Provide proof of my new insurance policy, how that's their business I'm not sure, and that I have to email them a letter with my signature requesting the cancellation of my policy even though I asked for via email to the agent an via phone with customer service! They have also informed me they will not cover my negative account balance or my over draft fees, which I was told by my current agent that they are legally responsible for as it was done out of negligence on there agents part. Also they are telling me it's going to take 10-14 business days to get me my refund as they have to issue a check an mail it to me. Although they took my funds electronically! They can't refund me electronically! I just wanted to warn anyone from potentially doing business with either of the companies!

They are liars. They asked for my mobile number as part of signing up to file taxes. Then they…read moreimmediately texted me. There was no request to text and no checkbox selected stating it was ok to text me. So this is a TCPA violation and I told them so. The employee said she was required to text me and I said no don't text me. Then she said I can remove you but you don't have to be so rude about it. I fail to see where the rudeness came in telling them not to text me when they had no consent and mentioning TCPA. I was asked to sit in the waiting room and documents were taken into the back where apparently the employee began to cry over our conversation? So another employee came out with an attitude, said I made their employee cry then told me to leave. Sorry but if the employee cried after our conversation something else was clearly bothering them. I was not rude to anyone until they copped an attitude with me. However since they chose to make me leave over an obvious lie, they don't deserve my business or anyone else's. It won't let me select Zero stars. But since I'm forced I'll credit them one for working in such a rough neighborhood. That's still no excuse to treat people the way they just treated me.
