so I am a new to this place, and i happened to have a new car to tint. Since I am not from local and knows nobody, I searched up on google with many reviews. when I found Mike, the reviews on google were like over 400 and he had five stars. This was something unheard of, but i gave it a try. First his price is unmatchable to any other tints around. I did four windows. Mike was straight forward in what hes doing, hes responsible for his work. But after like seven months, my driver side of the tint left me a small hole. I dont know what happened, and I am sure it would be my fault since my car was without a spot before. I called Mike and he asked me to bring the car in. He confirmed me he didnt know what really happened, yet he said he will redo the job for me. Since mine was a minor job, it only took some time to do it. Mike was responsible for my car that he took a good care of it. I am glad i was able to find him. He will surely be the one I will recommend to anybody. read more

I would've given 0 stars if I could have. Mike tinted my 2 front windows on my new truck and 2 days later they were hazy/cloudy. I contacted Mike and he told me to clean them so I did with window cleaner safe for tints. A week later I texted him and advised they were still hazy. I then even waited 2 months to see if they would clear up - they did not. I told him I needed him to look at them. I drove back to him and he said he had no idea what caused the haziness. He attempted to blame the window cleaner I used, even though it stated it was safe for tinted windows, the new Ram truck window and hard water. He grudginly decided to redo the tints, however, he was still looking to blame someone/something other than himself. Next he took a razor blade and started scraping my driver window and said the tint failed due to hard water and the scratching sound the razor blade was making was due to my window and a hard water problem (mind you we do not have hard water in Skokie, the truck was new and garage kept). Interestingly, he opened a new box of tint and this time, this one said 3M on it. The first time I went there the box he used had no name on it. The next morning the tints looked fine but my driver window was completely scratched up from razor blade he used the night before. I contacted him and advised that he messed up my brand new truck and the driver side window was completely scratched up. I told him I wanted to be made whole again and that he would have to replace the window. The next 2 weeks were a nightmare trying to track him down since I told him I wanted the window replaced. I called the truck dealer and they wanted $327 for the window itself. I called Safelite and they wanted $300 to install an OEM quality window. He started avoiding my calls, and missed a planned meeting to look at the window. He balked when I told him it was going to be $300 to replace the window with the same quality window he destroyed. He indicated that he would check around and call me back....a week later he still had not called back. Then he told me he found someone that would install it at his house and he would then tint the window once replaced. We planned to have it done the following Thursday. Come Wednesday, I still had no heard back from Mike. I texted him and he said the appointment was still not set but we were still on for Thursday. Wednesday night I did not hear from him and texted him and he said that the guy never called him back. At this point, after he ruined my new truck, was hard to reach, was unprofessional in his attempt to replace the window, I could not trust that he and this glass company were going to replace the window with an OEM window. I suggested that he pay me $200 to get this nightmare over. I wasted time, money and he ruined my truck. I just wanted this comedy of errors over. I don't know how he can have all these 5 star ratings. I found him to be completely unprofessional. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS if you have a vehicle you care about. read more
