This year, we had hail damage to our roof, the contractor met with the State Farm claims adjuster who told us that he agreed the roof needed replaced. All the material was delivered to our home and the workers arrived to get started, but for some reason State Farm changed their mind between that meeting and the delivery of material. Again, this year we reported a very minor claim with our small business. It wasn't much money, but we were told upfront that it was covered and later told it was not. Requested multiple times a copy of the details (in writing this time) of what is covered and each time they send irrelevant information. I lose sleep wondering if they'll honor my life insurance policy, if something happens before I find new coverage.

They then told us to get endorsement x and it would cover us if this occured again, it did happen again twice after , and guess what not covered... At which point they calmly tell us how it would never of been covered anyways and my wife and I look at each other and go... then why did you say otherwise. What's the point in adding a policy per advisement if it's not gonna be covered or help? Also to add to it they wouldn't return phone calls, we had to go in person to actually get a response, and then was told they would call us before end of day, shockingly never did and had to return in person or had to be in contact with the claims or the adjuster on our case. This is absolutely terrible. Worthless, blatantly lying agents. Have met Used Car Salesmen with more integrity, State Farm should be ashamed of having such pitiful representatives.
