First time here. When you pull up to the address and notice it is only a parking lot with no business building, you get skeptical but I wasn't disappointed. They offered me 2 options, 15$ for inside/out cleaning or 65 for full wax and full clean. I choose the 65. They basically started on my car right away as there wasn't really much of a line. They spent a full two hours cleaning my car. It almost took too long but how can you complain when they are non-stop working on your car making it look good LoL. Absolutely fabulous! As a dog owner, the interior of my car is always covered in fur and typically has the odor of my animals--good and bad. In addition, with the rainy season, my car tends to take on the smell of mildew because of the rain that gets trapped in my trunk. My car was desperate for a scrub down--top to bottom and everything in between. I chose Mike's because of recommendations in my community. The location of the business was convenient for me as well. When I made my appointment, I explained that I was a dog owner and I was a bit hesitant of the final product as the owner explained that it might be difficult to remove ALL of the hair. I was pleasantly surprised when they were finished because they removed ALL of the hair. My car looked brand new! They even cleaned under my hood and my car's engine. It's been two weeks since I paid for the detail, and my car still smells good from the products they used inside my car. It's worth the money if you're willing to pay someone else to clean your vehicle. I would recommend Mike's for your car's needs and I will definitely return when my car needs a thorough cleaning. read more

Overall, they did a good job, but the guy who helped me originally told me one price and then later, Mike told me another. When I left, there were streaks all over, tire shine overspray on the paint, and uneven protectant on the interior. I was upset that I was told one price when I pulled up and then it was $25 more when I went to pay. When I said something, Mike said "he shouldn't have told you that price!" Yeah, well, he did. Because it's a cheap and friendly way to get your car washed. --- --- --- I have always gone down to South Tampa to get my oil changed and car washed at the same time, but I kind of hate that place, to be honest. Every time I go, they try to pressure me into buying something that I don't need, and they don't always do a great job with the wash. So for my most recent car wash, I decided to stay close to home and skip all of that. I was rolling the dice with Mike's, as there were no Yelp reviews, and the "waiting area," is literally a bunch of old chairs under a tent. But I was pleasantly surprised. I believe the guy who washed my car was named Dexter, but I'm not 100% sure. But whatever his name was, he was awesome. He was over-the-top friendly, and did a great job on my car. The best part? It was only $15! If you are fine without a lush waiting area, these guys do a great job for cheap! And there's not a ton of nearby options in Seminole Heights, so it definitely saves on the drive! read more

Very disappointed. Left the car for over 5 hours on a Sunday because they said a slow day and looked like they just started when I returned. I left again. Then they called later telling me it was too dirty and wouldn't have normally accepted the job. ??? They had 5 hours to figure that out??? When I returned another hour later still not done. They gave the car back almost as dirty as when I dropped off. I had to wipe wax off when I got home. There were streaks of spray dried on dash never wiped off. I had to completely clean the inside when I got home. There were more things never touched inside than were touched (cleaned). I consider this place one of the hidden gems in Seminole Heights. It doesn't look like much from the street. I paid around 65 for a full service with wax and interior. Since I was unsure what to expect, I stayed to watch them work on it. They warned me it would take a while, and it ended up taking about two hours... But it was definitely worth it. Ask for Dee. He did my car and it looks brand new. He even got off a paint mark where another car had opened their door into mine. This is now my go to car wash in Tampa. I don't write reviews. For anything. But I was impressed with Mike's service, it was personal and exceptional. Don't expect much when you get there, except a thorough job well done. The facilities are... a parking lot. But who cares about facilities when what you want is your very dirty car (think two young kids is who drop little food bits everywhere, spilling various substances from time to time) to look like new? Mike is a nice guy who delivered, and he and his team have earned my trust and loyalty. I dropped off my car at 3 pm--hoping that his team could somehow make the car look good enough to trade in for a newer vehicle. The wash was very average and very little attention to detail on the inside and around door jams and inside my gas cap wasn't touched. They didn't wash my car mats and my carpets were wet for a week. I asked him to pay particular attention to the overhead liner, as someone had recently smoked in my car, but that was also untouched. My visors on both sides were untouched. And the numerous stains on my seats are still there, because they don't use a stain removal enzyme. It's not auto detailing, it's a car wash. The staff is super friendly. I called on a Sat AM and Mike answered (it's his cell phone listed on Yelp). He said no appt needed and to come over around 10 AM. It was $140 for the detailing for grimy, stinky 6 yr old Honda CRV. It had several stains on the fabric as well. It seemed pricy but I was willing to give it a try based on the fantastic reviews (and despite my husband being totally taken aback by the cost). From the moment I called, to when I dropped off my car, to when I picked my my vehicle, I was received with a warm friendliness! All my interactions were with Mike, the owner, and you can tell he is proud of his business and takes his work personally, with a zest of enthusiasm. After meeting, he told mentioned he was at the VA for something and I learned he is a veteran. I am so happy I chose a veteran owned business for my car detailing, and I don't think I'll go anywhere else! I found the place! From the outside, it doesn't look like much, a pretty empty lot with about three tents, one for the outdoors "waiting area," the other two for the auto detailing area. Mike immediately told me that it'd take about 3 hours to do an inside wash of the mats, vacuum, and steam clean the seats, plus a basic car wash. He warned me it'd be a while when I first called the day before to confirm their hours, so I'm glad I had plans to have a ride home and for the way back to pick up the car. For $95, I'm extremely happy with how well it turned out! Mike got a black stain out of my tan cloth seat that I thought I'd have forever! A sticky, odd scratch I had on the dashboard was near impossible to see, and all the sand in my trunk and laundry detergent spill was miraculously nowhere to be seen! My mats were perfectly washed, every corner of the car well vacuumed, and no dirt or my never ending shedding hair anywhere. Oh! And my tires were beautiful, the rims looked brand new and the product he put on the rubber if my tires has lasted a whole week to make sure it looks nice! I waited a whole week for this review, I couldn't believe how wonderful everything turned out. For the price I couldn't ask for more! I'm surprised the amount of detail he got in cleaning the car, and the only places I do wish he got were the little edges of the center consoles where there was some dust built up, and still some stickiness from the turn signal/ windshield control handle things (I should probably stop eating in my car....)But overall, this is way better than I expected. QUALITY work for fair, affordable prices. Mike definitely puts a lot of hard work and passion into his business, and it shows; don't hesitate to come here, and if you ask him, he'll make sure it gets done for your car! PS, they don't always work on Sundays, so call to find out!
