I told our tow truck driver to take the car there thinking it was another place I was familiar with. I had never been to VIP but somehow the branding stayed in my mind. :) They were able to work with us while we were traveling and we are grateful. Their prices are fair and the service was excellent. We needed a battery and they were able to store the car, for a daily fee, until we could pick it up.

The problem was a bit of a mystery, after Ray had tried all the basic stuff (fuel pump, relays, etc) and took a lot of work to resolve. Ray showed up very quickly, brought parts, tried some stuff, bought a few more parts, tried a few more things and... after some more parts-buying and stuff-trying (keeping us in the loop the entire time about why he was doing this or that thing and giving us the option to not keep going) he was able to fix the problem, explain what he fixed in simple terms, and give us "things to look out for" as my partner drove home. He made it home with no issues! Ray's prices were super reasonable considering he was doing the work on a Sunday afternoon in the road in front of my house. He was tenacious about getting to the bottom of things and his knowledge of cars is encyclopedic. Really good communicator, friendly guy, I would absolutely use him again for anything from routine work to something more complex.

These guys really are as good as it gets! They'll never try to talk you into something expensive that you don't need--instead, they'll suggest ways to make it cost less--and their customer service is amazing. They primarily work on cars & trucks, but as I understand it, their work isn't limited to that; as far as I know, the only thing they don't do (or at least don't do yet) is tires. Check whether or not your problem has an engine attached to it, and if it does, call them. They're trustworthy, patient, friendly, and just plain the best in the area at what they do!
