A few days ago I stopped at this location for a car wash. I purchased the choose two wash which is normally my selection of washes. The car wash was busy. But, I was able to get in and through pretty quickly. What I miss as of late at mikes car wash is the extra level of spraying down the vehicle before it actually gets put through the wash. The past few times I have been to a mikes car wash the attendant barely strays off the front. It used to be that they would spray down at minimum the front and rear along with windshield. And if you were really lucky they would hit your tires and sides before pushing the car through. If I had one suggestion it would be that they go after that initial soapy spray a little more on vehicles. Afterall you are paying $18+ for the service and it seems like the least that could be done. Good location, friendly staff. Just could do a bit better on the initial personal IMO. read more

This Thursday evening I stoped at the Centerville Mike's. I asked the most expensive car wash. Having an SUV the car wash does not get the salt and dirt off the back. I asked for the. JEEP OWNERS BE CAREFUL. Bought a jeep three weeks ago. Have taken it through twice since purchasing as I do a little puddle splashing here and there. Today I went in a bit messier than the last two times and a traveling manager Connor turned me away because the wheela wouldn't fit the equipment. ‍ Saved $16 by heading down to Flying Ace and signing up with the same monthly plan I spoke to Mikes about. Terrible prewash. The attendant does not even spray down one side of the car, much less both sides. I noticed this during my last couple of trips there and so today I specifically asked for a prewash on both sides and the attendant responded "We don't do special orders". I expressed surprised that this would be considered a "special order" and he said said they couldn't accommodate me because they were so busy, but it was actually pretty slow; there were no cars behind me at the time. The guy at the pre-wash aimed lazily in the direction of my windshield, gave a one second blast, and that was it. read more

The machine does a decent wash but it's more expensive then any other wash in town. They charge you for vacuums. There is no free towels, Windex or matt cleaner. Would definitely not use again. Thank goodness it was free from the dealer I bought a car from. read more

Am an unlimited customer for a couple of years now. The wash is great, much better than the place up the road, as is the tire treatment. What is a gripe (actually 2 things) and why not 5 stars is that for the unlimited package - you still have to pay to vacuum and the second gripe is it really depends on who is working the prewash on how good of a pre-wash you get (as I get the absolute worst prewash from 1 of the managers).... read more

Zero rating but not an option. Absolutely horrible!!! My car went off the track and I was accused of turning my steering wheel (which I did not) and it proceeded in my being hit in the back of my car by a car which was rear ended as well but a truck! I literally was hit 9 times before the conveyor belt was stopped! And guess who is responsible for all 3 vehicles! Yep my insurance company! Seems like a call to OSHA is coming. Overall a good carwash. I'm usually happy with how clean my car is after going through. MIke's unlimited packages are a good value if you wash at least once a week. My only real complaint is that the unlimited plans do not include use of the vacuum. It would be nice if MIke's included this like the Flying Ace just up the road. read more

I've only had one experience with them actually cleaning my car but I see the guys that work at Centerville Car Wash & Cafe everyday at my job. They usually have a daily special that is $10.99 or so that offers a basic wash, windows, and a vacuum. This is what I had done today. My car turned out great. The inside was vacuum in the best way I've seen since I bought the car. The outside of my car was streak-free and dry. The windows were cleaned and dry without any issues as well. These guys do a great job on cars. I can't wait to head back again. read more

I should have listened to the Google Reviews. They did an "ok" job on the interior of the car. Still a decent amount of build up between the seats. The inside was somewhat wiped down but I could still see several areas that were missed especially on the dash. The jams still had dirt in them. Their wash does a pretty good job on the outside. Most of all I was frustrated with the manager or owner that was yelling at his guys because they forgot to ask for a receipt so one guy drove off without paying. He needed to be more professional and do that in a closed area instead of in front of his customers. Probably will not go back again just for that reason alone. I will save the $20 and do it myself and get better results. read more

So.... Wow. I don't usually leave reviews, but this place is awesome! Turned out that if the Reds win on Tuesday, ultimate car washes are only 14$! I hadn't washed my truck for over a year and drive thru car washes are notorious for leaving dirt and leftover residue. I wasn't expecting much from this drive thru wash. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I got home to look at it. After getting an ultimate car wash, it felt like I was driving a brand new truck off the dealership lot! Seriously though. I was very impressed with the outcome. Will definitely recommend this to others looking to get the most bang for their buck with a side of convenience included. read more

NOT a fan of Mike's Car Wash. It is OVER PRICED for what you get. I have found that my SUV does not come out clean after using the Ultimate Wash. I initially came because I had a coupon code for $4 off. It is $20 minus $4 meaning a total cost of $16. I understand that the Vacuum is free but everyone knows that there is no such thing as a free lunch. You overpay if you do not use the vacuum essentially every time. Also, all this overhead of people standing around to simply waive at you? You are kidding me. I am sure all that added cost is buried in the final price. You are overpriced for this area. I have been going to Centerville Car Wash since moving to the Centerville area. I have found them to do a fantastic job and the workers take great pride in the details. Today I was on the receiving end of the worst customer service experience in my 53 years. The young man indicated my truck was ready and he opened the back door to show me his workmanship. My back floor mats had not been cleaned. He immediately apologized and added "They didn't put your front mats back either". He left with the back mats and returned to tell me he couldn't find my front mats. He asked if I would like to speak to the owner so I returned to the waiting area. The room had six or so customers when the owner opened the door. He yelled "Do you have the black truck"? He continued to yell, "You didn't have front mats when you came in"! I asked if he was serious and he continued yelling that I didn't have front mats, he said he personally processed my truck and it didn't have front mats! We got into a heated argument which was frustrating and confusing. My truck is less than 6 months old, I have no reason to lie about front mats. He kept calling me a liar and instructing me to leave his property. I'm not sure what happened with my front mats but I am sure that the owner of Centerville Car Wash could care less. I suggest avoiding this place, if you choose to take a chance, snap a picture of your mats before leaving your vehicle. Buyer Beware! UPDATE: 2/03/16 - The owner called to inform me he found my mats and he apologized for his behavior. His apology seemed sincere unfortunately I have chosen not to return to his establishment. I can't get past being called a liar and embarrassed in front of other customers. I stopped by while staying in the area to get my son settled at UD. My car was recently detailed but recent rains had left it spotty. After reading the positive reviews I decided to give them a try. I purchased the express wash for $8. When I pulled up the clerk directed me to the e press bay and explained that I self pay at the kiosk. He also told me that once I was finished I could wait in or out of the car while it was being dried since they not only dried the exterior but the door jambs. He did a thorough job, which I did not expect for the express wash. From what I observed all of the employees took pride in their work and did an excellent job. I wish I could move this car wash to my town! I'll be sure to return again when I visit the area. read more

While i do like this , i find their car wash rather too fast. My car always comes out dirty with all the bugs in the front. The cars line up back to back . I have a Bmw so so have trouble getting my car in the rails fast enough like they want it read more

My wife bought a $165 gift certificate for me for my Birthday. The original gift certificate was lost in a flood, but we still had the cash register receipt. They refused to honor it!!! The car wash does an excellent job. Workers are fast and complete. The cost is very fair. However, I had my car detailed. I had a stick on item that asked them to remove from my windshield. They cracked my windshield and would not replace. Offered only a $100 toward replacement. Lucky enought the replacement only cost $250. They will not detail any more of my cars. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My boyfriend and I have been taking our cars here for a while so I would consider us good paying, loyal customers. I recently took my boyfriends trailblazer SS for a managers special car wash and when i got the car back it was missing a wiper blade and this is the second time the car wash has ripped it off. I went in and just wanted to let them know what happened and the owner never apologized and was so rude to me from the beginning. He offered to refund me for the wiper blade so i called my boyfriend to see how much the ones we use are. He ended up telling me that it was my fault cause our windshield wipers are only $10.99 so they aren't high quality (they are contour top notch wiper blades, at a good price!) he told me my car was crap and mocked me for calling my boyfriend to ask about the wiper blades, its his car and he manages a car shop! He ended up yelling at me in front of all his customers in the show room, calling me the B word and refusing to give me a refund and throwing my broken wiper blade at me!!. He said he is not responsible for anyone's cars and he doesn't care what happens to them in his wash and he doesn't need to treat customers well cause he owns "the best business in Centerville". After telling my boyfriend what happened he called the car wash and the owner ended up yelling at my boyfriend also for no reason. As a young woman I felt very threatened and disrespected!!! I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau and will NEVER be returning to this car wash. The owner has no respect for any of his customers and i recommend no one support this business especially women because he clearly thinks it's ok to belittle us even though were still good paying and tipping customers! BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT use them to detail your car!! My brother and a few other people use them for a car wash and say they do a good job? Don't know how much the charge but I bet it's expensive? Anyway do NOT pay them to detail your car. I took my car in because I'm selling it and it had a few scratches. They did my car and when I picked it up I didn't really inspect it because it was getting dark,my fault,! So the next day I went to look at it and it looked horrible! They buffed it only in a few spots where the scratches were? Not the whole car like I paid for! They didn't even touch the top or engine which I specifically requested. They left two big marks on my fender that they said they would have no problem getting out? They also put a new very deep and long scratch on the front of my car! When it rained the next day I could tell all they did for a wax job was run it through the car wash? There was wax all over my windows and when I took it back they said that was hand wax on my windows?? Lol! Who hand waxes windows? This wax or something they used also left white residue all over my car that made it look dirtier than when I took it to them!!?? So like I said it took it back and after a short argument with the detail manager Dave, who I had been dealing with the whole time, and many excuses ,that all through the owner under the bus, he agreed to do it again. So I go to pick it up the second time and they had actually done the top of my truck but NOTHING else! Not the engine, new wax job, fix the new scratch that they made, the marks on my fender that they said a second time they would have no problem getting out, interior leather conditioner that he said he would throw in, NOTHING! And even though I watched them run it through the car wash I still had this white residue all over my car and a new sticky substance in some places? I picked it up the second time and Dave immediately left and pretended to be busy so I looked at it and asked to talk to the owner. He apparently was not there so I got disgusted took my car and left!? I paid them $150 plus a $30 tip the first time I picked it up! More than most people charge but people told me they were good based on them getting their car washed there. So for that price and the fact I gave them all day and part of the next to work on it they could have just done a good job and had a customer(s) for life? I ended up having to pay another guy, Bryan Kennison, at bob Ross GMC $100 to do the job over again!? He did an amazing job! Look him up if you need a detail!Some people are too lazy and will do anything to do the minimal possible to get work done! Dave is one of these people! Where has all the work ethic gone?? And on that note let me tell you one more thing. Every time I talked to this Dave guy, about 6-7 times, he talked smack about his owner!!?? He blamed him for not getting the right stuff for him to do the job right? He said that the owner does not know how a detail shop is run? He said and I quote "the owner is a jackass and doesn't get me what I need"? He talked smack about him the very first time we met and I was inquiring about the detail? Who does this!? Who talks bad about your owner at work to a new customer!!?? Who knows what he says to customers he knows already? That's just unprofessional and the sign of a poor work ethic when you have to constantly blame someone else for your shitty job!? This really turned me off and should have been a red flag for me!? I have hired and trained a couple thousand people and there is no way I would or have stood for an employee talking bad to a customer! This guy should be fired immediately! He is bad for business!
