I recently moved to the area and was very happy with my first visit to Soft Touch. However, my second visit was not only unsatisfactory but my car was also permanently damaged. Not only was the cleaning incomplete (trunk not cleaned, dash controls not cleaned and floor mats not cleaned) but the top of my dash, under the windshield, was scratched and sliced up multiple times. I don't understand how this could happen - the person must have been holding something sharp in addition to the cloth. I haven't gotten an estimate to fix it yet but I think the entire front part will need to be replaced and it will be pricey. I did call Soft Touch to tell them about my experience since they advertise that they are committed to satisfaction. I did receive an apploligy and was told to let them know if it happens again. However, with the extend of the damage, I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Possibly the best car wash in the world. And ladies....it's 25 percent off for us on Tuesdays. I feel sorry for any stag man looking pained while they wait for their car in a sea of women who paid less than they did. Tho they can opt for a shoe shine while they wait, which is something I've never seen a woman do. Especially in the summer cause we got our flippy floppys on. Yes...you will wait for your car because they take their time and pride themselves on not leaving a smudge for you to find. Inside and out - spotless. Tires...done. Undercarriage done. Cup holder...clean! I'm estimating 30 - 45 minutes but so worth it. I always increase my tip when I see how hard they're working on it. Then you can head down the highway looking all shiny and clean. I have been there many times without issues. Last visit, which was March 13, 2024, not only had they raised their prices so a wash with tip is now over 50 bucks, when they removed my driver side floor mat to clean they did not rotate one of the OEM clips, rather forcing the mat out and ripping off the clip, which I just noticed today when I took the mat out to shake the dirt off of it. It was definitely on there when I took my car to Soft Touch. This was employee negligence, not the actual wash that could take out an antenna, mirrors, etc. Of course they say they are not responsible for such damage, but this was employee negligence, not the fault of some machine. When I called and talked to manager/owner, not sure who he was, seemed fixated on what brand of floor mats I had. What difference does it make? The floor mat retention was put in at the Honda factory, they did not come with the mats. He said they may have clips for Weathertech but unsure if they had any for Smartliner, which is the mats I have. Huh? The mats have round holes just like the factory mats, and once again the retainer clips come from the factory and NOT with my floor mats. They should have, at the very least, offered me a free wash AND to cover the cost of me taking my car to the Honda dealer and having them fix this. This place is also a rip off now that they raised their prices and no longer combine a Veterans discount with Groupon. That was the only way this place was affordable to me, and it was worth the drive from Englewood to Centerville. No more! Never going back, especially since they don't seem to care about Veterans anymore, and don't care if they damage your car, even if it is caused by negligence by their employees. Probably not worth it but consider taking them to small claims court and they can pay me for Honda dealer to repair the damage they caused. read more

This was my first time here. It was recommended by a couple people so I thought I'd give it a try. I have a newer car that I have always washed myself because I don't like all the micro-scratches and I keep the interior clean. I just needed to outside cleaned. I bought the managers special. Folks were nice enough, but the job was poorly done. I had smudges and spots on the interior of the console along with a wet towel left on the leather seat. The exterior was still dirty with bug splatters and dirt on the front end and grill. Very obvious to see. Very disappointed in the quality provided. Not likely to ever go here again. read more

Purchased through Groupon - deluxe car wash. Have used Soft Touch numerous times in past with little or no complaint. Mentioned in an earlier review regarding my most recent visit about a "wax-type film" left on inside of auto glass, specifically front windshield. Attendant tried numerous times to remove film, and even changed cleaning rags twice. Lots of film removed, but still present. Noticed today the film is still present and I have made numerous attempts to remove. Almost makes you think substance such as WD-40 or similar was on cleaning rags. Disappointed. Do not recommend, and have no intentions of returning. Buyer beware. read more

This is what Soft Touch did to my rear windshield wiper yesterday. Refused any responsibility including any type of refund. The car wash popped the blade off the arm (blade is able to reattach to arm) however also in the process broke the arm where it attaches to the car. Owners were dismissive and blamed the car being old and having rusty brittle plastic. Last I checked plastic does not rust; dealer replacing wiper arm confirmed plastic is not brittle something yanked the arm with a lot of force. read more

I am so frustrated in having to write this. I took my car in last week and had it cleaned. It came out with a dent in the side of the hood. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the dent was not there prior to me bringing it in bc I had just seen that section after work. I back into the parking lot at work and see this same side EVERY SINGLE DAY, multiple times a day. It 100% WAS NOT THERE prior to my arrival at Soft Touch. I noticed the dent almost immediately. I called the company right away and they told me they would look at it. I met with one of the owners on Friday last week and he nicely called me a liar. He told me that nothing like this has ever happened (which is a lie bc I have seen reviews of such things happening). In the end, he told me that he had a friend who owned a car shop and he would call for me on Monday to schedule an appt to fix it. It is now Monday, my husband calls to see when we can get the car in and the owner now states that he is not going to pay for my dent, and that he reviewed video footage and said that it was not done by anyone in his shop. I have yet to see the footage. He also took my words and twisted them into things that I did not say directly to my husband. I cannot believe he lied to me so blatantly and refused to take ownership. I've been going here for years and find the car detailers to be hard working. I do get frustrated with the initial interaction however. I get that they are trained to try to upsell the customer but the attitude I've received from them when i request only the basic wash is rude. This happens EVERY time. The lat time I visited the guy drying my car did a pathetic job as he was more interested in conversing with the worker at the next car than doing his job. Oh my goodness. I called around to several places to find somebody to detail and clean my mother-in-law's car. We are from Detroit and we came down because she had a stroke this past weekend. I have been cleaning her house and just wanted to do something more for her than that and decided to clean her car so when she's all done with rehab she has these nice surprises. These guys were over two thirds less than some of my other quotes. We came during the pandemic right when the car wash opened (8am). None of the workers were following protocol- gloves and masks. It made me very uncomfortable to see unmasked people in my car when it clearly says workers will wear a mask and gloves. Based off of yelp's rating system 2-stars means, "Meh. I've experienced better," which hits the nail on the head for me. I found out about this place through a living social deal and I thought I'd check it out. My boyfriend and I went the day before the deal expired but we showed up right at close, which was an hour earlier than what is posted on their website. However, we were told that we could redeem the voucher the day after expiration since we couldn't make it the day that our coupon expired. This was great! However, I would recommend that this company change their website to reflect their current hours for patrons who don't frequent the place or who are new and have never been. Since we didn't have any problems redeeming I would have given this place a higher rating for customer service but.... Fast forward to the morning after I got my car detailed. I found that my front window was horrendously streaky, making it difficult to see with the sun shinning directly in. Also, I noticed that the inside of my car wasn't fully clean/dusted. There were noticeable areas where they had missed cleaning. Unfortunately, the reason for my noticing the next day, and not the day of, was the fact that it was already dark out and so it was difficult to see everything in detail. The people that check you in are always polite and will go the extra mile to make sure your vehicle is vacuumed well - no matter how big it is. And then yesterday Mitchell received my car after it was washed and I was SO impressed with the service he provided! The only place I'll take my car to get washed in Dayton! They always do a great job and I have been going here for years, never had any issues. The guys are always nice and work so hard. You pull up, they direct you which line to go. A guy will come up to your window and ask you what package you want. You get out of your car and they vacuum the inside of your car. You go inside to their nice air conditioned waiting area which has a vending machine, coffee, shoe shine, cards, car accessories, etc. and a window wall you can watch your car go through the wash in (they have hot wax!). You watch outside the window and when your car is through the wash you can see it get hand dried by 1-2 guys and the interior cleaned (windows, dash, wipe down, cupholders, mirrors, etc.) They do it all! Then they raise their hand when they are done and if it's your car you go out to get it. They ask you to look it over and if you're satisfied. Then you drive away with a great clean car! Like I said, never had a bad experience, always do a fantastic job, all the guys who work there are such hard workers. Support local! Tips: Ask them about any specials they have when you pull up. They usually have something like the Works on special. Tuesdays is "ladies day" so ladies you get 25% off! I think men's day is Wednesday and they get 25% off. My full works car wash is usually anywhere from $20-25 depending on the specials and day I go. I had been to Soft Touch only one time before and was happy with the results so I bought a Living Social deal. My car came out looking great, BUT while I was waiting, an unhappy customer came in and asked for the manager. From what I could hear, she asked for a hand-wash and their idea of a hand wash is just spraying the car off. The manager was SO RUDE to her and offered no way to make up to her that the $25 she spent was not what she had expected or wanted. Best place in town to detail and wash your car. They even open in the winter. There's always people to clean the interior of your car and they do a great job. The only thing i wish washing the rugs will be included in the normal price but it's $5 each so makes the wash around $35 or more read more
