The pre-washers are usually reasonably thorough. If you want them to get your rear windshield, make sure you ask the first employee as you enter if there is one. Otherwise, they have still been happy to do so if asked. There are plentyvof suds in the wash and the scent is clean and fresh during the wash. Decent dryers that almost fully dry your vehicle. I like Mike's car wash but I just wish they would include the vacuums for free with a wash. read more

They are overpriced and they charge extra to use the vacuums. I won't be back, I only used it because it was closer to my daughter's house and we had been driving for a day and covered in bugs guts. The wash was ok, could have been better. My normal car wash provides towels and various cleaners free so you can wipe down all the places the car washes miss. Nothing like that here. My normal car wash provides bug and tar solution and scrub brushes out front if needed (we did). Mike's does not. The other car wash near my house has a guy out front who scrubs the grill, lights, and front of the hood if you want, you tip him if you're nice. Mike's does not have that either. I was ok with the overly expensive wash, but then to pull out of the machine tunnel and find out I have to pay more for the vacuums on top of the already surprisingly high price? After using Mike's hundreds of times over the past 20 years, a few weeks ago my simple wash routine turned into a nightmare. My truck jumps out of the track, gets rammed multiple times by the car behind me, driving the front of my truck into the equipment, causing front end damage. After getting it straightened out and out of the wash, Mike's staff was great, got me a claim form and said they would contact me w/in 5 business days. I never heard from them until I finally had to reach out via email. They stated that they sent me a letter via snail mail (which I still have not received, 3 wk's later). I had them send the letter to my email. After reading the letter I quickly realized it was a denial letter & they were taking ZERO responsibility... They stated they reviewed video footage and completely put all of the blame on me! They said it was something I did from inside the vehicle... I know for an absolute fact that is not true! I demanded the video which they refused to provide to me w/out a formal request from a lawyer. I without uncertainty know this was not caused by something I did... Just looking around on reviews from BBB, Facebook, Yelp, etc., I have learned that I am not the only one this has happened to & it's unfortunately a common response from Mikes. I am extremely disappointed about the lack of accountability from Mike's claims department. My story is just like many, many others, Mike's Carwash never takes responsibility. I would have never of thought a simple Carwash malfunction at a large chain could have this result. I want to note that this is not about the money but about the principle of the situation and not taking responsibility. They have lost a loyal customer. Mike's Car Wash is one of the best in the area. But, like many car washes, you don't get out of there spot Free. This is not a touchless car wash. This is very touch full, to say the least. You've got the spinning things, you've got the swirling drapes, the foamy showers in the sprinkling mist. This place has it all. And, at the end, you have the wind test tunnel room to dry everything off. I would say gets about 85 to 90% of the water off. If you want to take the extra effort, there are self service stalls as well as vacuums. You can pull out after your car wash and there's room for you to wipe it down and get in all the nooks and crannies. Would I go back? Yes. I typically buy the books where you get x number of washes and you get one or two for free. There is a value over the onesie twosie visits where you're paying full price. Also, if you have kids that aren't so nuts about car washes, this is a good place to break them in. Between the stuffed animals at the beginning of the carwash, in the carwash and towards the end as well as the colored foam and colored lights as you drive-through, it's a good distraction and a way to make it fun for kids that are a little bit more nervous than others. read more

I paid for the ultimate car wash and came out of the car wash with a still very dirty car. The front still has bugs and my windshield and mirrors were still very dirty. I went thru the car wash because there was splatter from being behind someone on the interstate, and that was not even washed off of my windows or car. I'm very disappointed since I paid $20 for a car wash that didn't even wash my car. read more

Mike's Car Wash always delivers great service and great wash when I visit. I was lucky enough to visit a weekend when they were offering $7 Ultimate wash which is usually $20. The driveway at Mike's is built for busy customer traffic; multiple lanes to pay and the clerks comes to you! This is a mobile first business which enables the clerk bring a tablet to your window to pay for service and accept credit cards. The staff, though young, were all friendly and sociable. The wash itself was good, I took supplies to wipe down the interior while the wheel bright and tire shine dried. One of the employees also asked about the quality of the wash while emptying the trash bags at the vacuum area. Stop in when traveling 747. This is not your typical car was at the end of the block. The business, drive, equipment and landscaping is well maintained. Will visit again soon to wash off the pollen. Additional Note, vacuums are available $1 for 4 minuted. I absolutely love Mike's! I possess the unlimited plan and we also buy books occasionally for the family. The staff is really friendly and willing to help you out with anything you might need. After reading other reviews, I decided to compose this one! Yes, your vehicle isn't spotless, but it's clean! You can always wipe your vehicle down as I invariably do! I'm not horribly picky when it gets to being absolutely 100% spotless since I can guarantee the my car will get something on it when I get back on the road! Come-on, we live in Ohio where the weather is wild and the construction never stops. Although it didn't take place at this particular location, my 4Runner had its back wiper ripped off and they took responsibility for it and had a new one put on. Hence, I don't have anything negative to say about Mike's! I will continue using them and I definitely recommend! read more

I have been a customer at Mike's car wash for over five years with either a monthly or six month pass over that timeframe on 2 vehicles simultaneously. I have visited the Mikes Car Wash at Pavilion Drive as it is the closest to my house on a regular basis. However after a visit on February 28, 2020 I will now be discontinuing my six-month wash passes as I am finding that the customer service has dropped drastically at this location over the past few months, hence the reason I will stop doing business with Mike's Car Wash until someone can install customer service 1.0 into some of the new people they have hired. Come on Mike's you have been stellar for 50 years, you can fix this problem. read more

Standard Mikes Car wash, however if your car is damaged as my was they will not take any responsibility. This is not the fault of the kids working there, but the fault of the management. They will have you fill out a form and submit a claim but nothing will be done about the damage. I was told that I would be contacted when after I filled out the form. A few days later I got a letter in the mail that basically said that I caused the damage and they would do nothing about it. As with all car washes the washer generally does a great job, however when brushes or cloth have debris, you're going to get damage. Most people do not even notice because they drive through and keep going. I always hand dry my car and immediately noticed the damage. Go through at your own risk knowing they will not help you if damage is caused as a result of the wash. Be aware. read more
