Waiting in a long line for this place made me feel like I was making the right decision. The line moved fairly quickly and the prices aren't too bad. However, when I got home and checked my car I noticed that the car wash missed several spots including the back windshield. Yes, they offer another wash in 48 hours, but I don't have time to go back there and sit in line again in hopes that they hit those missing spots the second time. Update: Management reached out and made the situation right. I went back for another try and the wash was much better. My first visit must have been an off day, so I'm glad I went back to give them another opportunity. read more

Probably one of the nicer car washes in Cincinnati, but not once but twice now it's ripped the rear wiper off of my very common model suv causing damage to the wiper mount itself as well. I'm afraid I won't be going there anymore with this vehicle at least. read more

I will start this by saying that I will only give hand-wash car washes 5 stars. Maybe that makes me a car wash snob? Regardless, take this review with that in mind. Value for the price is excellent. I went on a Wednesday which is wacky Wednesday where they have $3 off all their washes. Quality is exactly what you would expect from a machine-wash. Fortunately, they power wash your car before you get in to get off any stuck-on crud. Even the tire shine is applied by the machine which makes it a bit less precise. No towel drying which inherently leaves things like mirrors and door handles still a little wet at the end. Overall, if you are fine with a machine wash with the spinny brushes and you don't want to get out of the car, this is an excellent value for the price. read more

With all the pollen of the spring being stuck to my car, I decided to use Gill's Car Wash. It happened to be a Wednesday when I went through, so I got the Wacky Wednesday pricing. I was thrilled with that! As I decided which wash to get, I noticed that they offer more "services" with each wash than a major competitor down the road does. Also, this is a much smaller, locally owned business that I am very happy to support. The staff was very friendly! I also found out they offer things like interior car cleaning, etc. which I know my car could use. I plan to use them for that as well! read more

I have been to a car wash near my work and forgot about this local business. Until today I drive by for a wacky Wednesday car wash for five dollar. And it worth so much more than five dollar. Customer service was great and very friendly. On top of that they give you a wet towel to clean your hands. The wash seem like it take longer time and more cleaning than place that cost the higher price. Will come back again soon. read more

As a surprise for my roommate, I snuck away with her car while she was at a hair appointment and took her ride for a much needed cleaning. Gill's was right down the street in Oakley; how convenient! Gill's comes with a whimsical theme. It's not named after a person, but after fish. Pull your car into the queue and select a Red Snapper (basic), Blue Marlin (plus) or Great White (premium) wash. The Red Snapper gets everything clean and is only $8.00! Add $2.00 for an undercoat cleaning with Blue Marlin, or $4.00 for a wheel shine and wax coating with the Great White works. The attendant was super friendly and offered to pressure wash the floor mats at no extra charge. As he hosed, I put the car in neutral and took a relaxing stroll through the washer. Afterwards, you can pull your car through to the DIY interior cleaning. Everything is $1.00, from running the vacuum, to Armor-All cloths, to a wet rag, and even air fresheners. There is a change machine located near the vending area, but I'd suggest coming with a sack of quarters. There was a lot to vacuum off the floor and seats, and ending up spending $3.00 in change to sweep. A decent deal, but I had to keep running over to the vending machine to dispense more change. If I could give Gill's Car Wash more than 5 stars, I would! Exceptional/ swift service, and extremely attentive staff. While working, my client spilt almost an entire energy drink in the backseat, and I wanted to get it shampooed before it soaked all the way into the seat/ started to smell (the smell of energy drinks makes me nauseous). I called and they were able to get me in and out before I had my next appointment. They even went ahead and cleaned the whole bench, even though I had only asked for the one seat. I recently went to get my car detailed. It took them 3 hours and I ended up having to turn around and go back to get them to vacuum the back of my car that they missed. It cost $75 and honestly it was very poorly done for taking 3 hours. The workers were nice and my car is cleaner than it was when I brought it but the results didn't feel like it was worth the money. Good friendly service from staff, great daily specials I have even convinced my fiance it is the best place to get pur cars washed. They also do top notch detailing. Literally took my car in with about a years worth of pet hair, 6 road trips worth of crumbs and what not and a stained seat from multiple spills. I had called ahead to see if they had bays big enough to wash a 26 foot RV. The fellow who answered, not only told me that they didn't, but told me about a place nearby that might, and even offered to help me spray it off, if that was all I needed! I decided to stop in and see if they could help. Not only did they help out, they were super nice and thorough! Apparently they have new management, D (sorry, not sure of the whole name), the GM, went above and beyond. It is so rare to find people that not only show up and clock in, but that overachieve and do it with a smile?!? This place is going to see some great changes under this guy, I think! Cheap car washes aren't all they're cracked up to be. I took my car in on a weekend following snow. The line was running down Madison Road. As you approach the wash area, there are gentlemen out doing pre-wash activities and I was concerned about my tires so I rolled down my windows to ask if they could hit them. I was barely acknowledged. Then after I went through, I got out to towel dry my own car (because what car wash EVER fully dries your car?) and noticed dirt spots all over my windshield! I walked over to one of the guys standing outside and all he did was hand me a shammy towel. He said they are in the process of tweaking the right amounts of cleaners. -__- I had to clean my own windows?! Who can't get cleaning glass right through a car wash?? Amazing service, the best wash in the Cincinnati area. Their unlimited plans are unbeatable in price. The workers are all very friendly and seem more engaged in their job than at most other washes. On Wacky Wednesdays, all washes are $3 off, and the least expensive wash is only $5. I cancelled my unlimited plan with Mike's to come here, I'm much happier with how my car looks after each wash, and even more thrilled with the service I get. They give you a dash towel with each wash, and if anything happens to your car in 48 hours after your wash, such as rain, a rude bird, etc, just return with your receipt and get another wash for free. I came here after being littered with 10 days of bugs from Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, etc. I pulled up fully expecting having to use my own debugger at home after the wash, which I was fine with. However, upon pulling up, the two attendants took the time to pre soak and wash my car and said if the guts didn't come off in the wash that I was able to come back around and go through. After the first wash (I got the cheapest wash), my car was nearly spotless. I am going to buy their monthly package because this was an awesome experience. read more
